Opened Up with Big show Coming out to HUGE Heel Heat. The Rock comes out and does his FINALLY....etc, etc. And is about to Fight Big Show until Kane comes out w/Tori. Tori says Kane will win the Rumble. Triple H comes out and says tonight there will be a triple threat over the top battle royal lumberjack match between Kane, Rock, and Big Show.
X-Pac won after the New Age Outlaws interfered. From what I heard, I think he got a spot in the Rumble for it but im not sure.
Kurt Angle and British Bulldog vs. Al Snow and Blackman:
Before the Match Al and Blackman agreed to something backstage....Kurt did his spiel he has a mystery opponent at royal rumble. Angle never got in the match as Blackman pump kicked Bulldog and the pump kicked him again off the top rope for the pin. The match was like 2 seconds....weird.
Matt Hardy vs. D-Von Dudley:
Matt Hardy won with his Diamond Cutter. After the match, there was a brawl and Jeff hardy hit Buh Buh Ray off the stage with a chair and he landed through a table, then another table was set up, and Jeff gave him a legdrop. Cool Spots. Buh Buh bladed.
Prince Albert vs. Big Bossman
not much here. double dq or Double countout im not sure.
Chris Jericho, Hardcore Holly and Chyna vs. Too Cool and Rikishi:
Too Cool and Rikishi won by dq after Y2J, Chyna, and Hardcore triple teamed Rikishi. Then all 4 fought w Rikishi coming out on top. Jericho was hilarious on the mike! Too Cool and Rikishi then danced to the biggest pop of the night!!!!
Viscera vs. Crash Holly:
Earlier, Hardcore threw Crash into a room with Big Vis for this match. During Big Vis' entrance, the Tazz orange thing came on the screen. Before the symbol pooped up, it said on the screen...Tazz orange thing. Big Vis won with the splash.
Edge vs. Gangrel
Gangrel won by countout. Edge was outside and Luna whispered in his ear. then all the participents in the Royal Rumble bikini contest came out and surrounded Edge, mesmorized by him. Mae Young grabbed him and made out w/ him. I think it may lead to an angle set up by Val or Christian....sended the women out to destroy his engagement.
Battle Royal: Rock vs Kane vs Big Show
All the guys announced for the rumble came out first. Big Show Chokeslammed the Rock out first to eliminate him. The Rock came back in and was clotheslined out by big show again. Kane eventually back body dropped Show out for the win. Then the ring filled up.
Triple H Interview:
HHH & Steph Came out and badmouthed Cactus. Show clips from Royal Rumble 99, with the chair shots. Made fun of Foley's family. Cactus came out and said he was going to bring sharp weapons to MSG on Sunday. They then fought and Mankind pull-piledrived HHH on the announce table. Then he did it two more times.
