• The Rock and Mankind defeated Kane and Triple H (w/Chyna) with The Rock's People's Elbow, to let The Rock and Mankind retain the Tag Team Titles.
- The Rock let everyone know he had finally came back to Hartford. He then insulted Kane by saying his pyro didn't impress him and he, "the retard," could finally talk. The Rock imitated Kane's way of putting a voicebox to his throat, by saying, "My name is Kane and I am a roody-poo candyass." He then told Kane to stick the voicebox up his candyass. Mankind said everyday, he got prouder to be The Rock's partner. He sent out a get-well message to Brian Hildebrand and let everyone know he had finally came back to Hartford. Kane made his way down to the ring without X-Pac and signaled to just ring the bell. Triple H entered as Kane's partner. Chyna brought down a sledgehammer, which Triple H used three months ago on Mankind that injured Mankind's knee. As the match went on, Kane wouldn't tag in Kane. Triple H later tagged himself in. Kane knocked him out of the ring. Triple H then nailed Kane on the spine with the sledgehammer. The Rock followed-up with the Rock Bottom and People's Elbow for the win. Following the match, Triple H continued his punishment on Kane, using the sledgehammer. The Undertaker and The Big Show made their ways out, which got Triple H and Chyna to walk out. Jim Ross wondered what Big Show and The Undertaker's motivation was.

• Backstage, Jeff Jarrett made his way down, along with Miss Kitty. She handed him a guitar.

• Backstage, Michael Cole told Jacqueline that Jeff Jarrett planned on using her as an example, going into his Intercontinental Title match with Chyna at the Unforgiven PPV. She said she would kick Jarrett's butt. She said she had fought bigger women than Jarrett. She didn't know why Jarrett had to bring blondes down to the ring with him, but she said it wouldn't be the first time she smacked three dumb blondes in one night.

• Jeff Jarrett (w/Miss Kitty) defeated Jacqueline by making her submit to the Figure-Four Leg Lock, to retain the Intercontinental Tite.
- Jeff Jarrett said there would be no puppies. The crowd booed and chanted, "Asshole." He said Chyna would find out what would happen to her when a woman like Jacqueline stepped into his world. Jarrett was rough and showed no mercy on Jacqueline, as he choked her and knocked her down with a lariat. He then strapped her in the Figure-Four Leg Lock for the win. Afterwards, as Miss Kitty distracted the referee, Jarrett blasted Jackie with his guitar.

• Backstage, Terry Taylor interviewed Val Venis the attack Steve Blackman laid on him the previous Thursday on Smackdown. Venis said Blackman better hope he found him before he (Venis) found Blackman.

• Christian and Edge defeated The Acolytes, to capture a shot at the Tag Team Titles.
- Jim Ross informed us that Jacqueline may have suffered a concussion as a result of the guitar shot she took from Jeff Jarrett. In the match, both teams used excellent teamwork. As Edge and Faarooq battled on the inside, Bradshaw nailed Christian with a powerbomb. The referee was distracted by the action on the outside, pin Bradshaw's pin attempt couldn't be countered. Bradshaw then set up Christian for another powerbomb, but Edge stopped him with a Missle Dropkick. Christian then made the pinfall to pick up the win.

• Backstage, Michael Cole interviewed Christian and Edge. As Edge said it would take more than a plucked eyebrow from The Rock, Michael Cole pointed out The Acolytes, who were coming near the interview set. The Dudley Boyz appeared and destroyed The Acolytes from behind with garbage cans.

He said he would carry the legacy of his father. Joey Abs, Rodney, and Pete Gas of The Mean Street Posse then appeared, clapping. They told Stasiak his old man sucked. They then attacked him.

• The Big Show defeated Val Venis with the Chokeslam.
- Val Venis made his way down quickly and in regular shorts. He said The Big Show seemed braved enough to slap him around in a restroom, but wanted to see if Big Show was brave enough to bring his big ass down to the ring. Big Show and The Undertaker were shown watching a television monitor in the backstage area. Big Show said, "Are you going to pick that up?" Big Show thought The Undertaker was talking about something laying on the floor, but The Undertaker actually meant Venis' challenge. A frustrated Big Show then made his way out to the ring. In their match, Venis tried to fight Big Show, but was dominated and defeated with the Chokeslam. Following the match, Steve Blackman attacked Venis with a kendo stick.

• Backstage, Terry Taylor interviewed The Dudley Boyz. A studdering Bubba Ray said The Acolytes weren't a big deal. He said The Dudley's were the nine-time champions and The Acolytes weren't sh*t. D-Von started to give out The Dudley's three lines we all should know, until he and Bubba were attacked by The Acolytes. Officials tried to store some order.

• Lilian Garcia was in the process of announcing the next match, until she was interrupted by Howard Finkel. Finkel said he and Lilian had a problem. He said Lilian didn't realize he was the best at ring announcing. He told Lilian to take a seat and watch what the best did. He said he had done WrestleMania and all PPVs, so she was far from his league. Finkel started to read off cards, only to find out Ken Shamrock was up next for a match. Shamrock ran after Finkel around the ring. He got Finkel on the floor, at which point the Y2J countdown appeared. Jericho appeared on the Titan Tron. Jericho said Shamrock had made him absolutely furious, so he would have to pay the ultimate price. He said the WWF was sports entertainment and not UFC. Jericho called himself the world's most dangerous man and said he would confront Shamrock the following Thursday on Smackdown. Shamrock then ran to the backstage area after Jericho.

He said after crippling Kane earlier in the show, he had already crippled Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mankind. He said just the following week after capturing the title, he defeated The Rock. He said his resume spoke volumes. He told Linda McMahon to keep her ass out of his business. Mr. Ass made his way out and asked if someone had called his name. Ass said he read Triple H's resume and it was impressive, but he knew Triple H better than anybody. Ass claimed Triple H wanted him in D-Generation X to avoid Ass kicking his ass. He called Triple H an ass and an asshole. The crowd chanted, "Asshole." Triple H told Ass to put his money where his mouth was. He said he would give Ass a Heavyweight Title shot later in the show. • Hardcore and Crash Holly defeated The New Brood (w/Gangrel) with a Suplex by Hardcore.
- Hardcore Holly informed The New Brood that they would have to meet the weight requirements of the super heavyweights. He said by looking at The New Brood, they were wasting his and Crash's time. Hardcore said he would give The New Brood the benefit of the doubt, which was the reason for the scale. Matt and Jeff Hardy stepped up to the scale. Hardcore asked them if they had any change or gold they could put in their pockets, because they weren't big enough. He then told Gangrel, calling him dracula and a fat bastard, to step up to the scale. Hardcore suggested The New Brood buy a package of donuts to get bigger, because the match wasn't happening. The New Brood then attacked Hardcore and Crash to get the match underway. Matt and Jeff worked on Crash. Hardcore was soon tagged in, but The New Brood remained on top. However, after Crash took Jeff to the outside, Hardcore finished off Matt with a Suplex. The lights went out. When they returned, Crash was covered in blood. Hardcore laughed at him. Crash asked Harcore where he was and asked why he didn't help him. Crash took a shot at Hardcore. Both went at it again and were soon separated by officials.

He wondered where he was. He asked himself why he was wearing gini pants. He wanted God to tell him he was not Avatar again and wanted it to just be a dream. He then started to bark. He went to the announcer's table and wrote on a notepad. He barked away as he exited.
