• Acolytes Interview.
- The Acolytes immediately made their way out, as they even waited by the entrance-way as the pyro went off. Bradshaw said he and Faarooq would stand in the ring until The Underatker and The Big Show got their seven-foot punkasses out there. He said the previous night on HEAT, The Undertaker and The Big Show didn't finish what they started. Faarooq said The Undertaker and Big Show had been talking about armageddon and the world coming to an end. He said The Undertaker and Big Show's asses would come to an end. Hardcore Holly made his way out instead and said "his boys" weren't there yet, but he (Holly), the leader of the super heavyweights, was. Bradshaw asked Holly which one of The Acolytes he wanted. Holly said he was The Big Shot and was there to take on both of The Acolytes' asses. Holly entered the ring and was destroyed, as he was put through the Clothesline from Hell, Dominator, and the Double Powerbomb.

• Backstage, The Undertaker and The Big Show, along with Paul Bearer, arrived.

• A pre-recorded interview was shown with Edge, conducted by Terry Taylor. Edge said he was in disbelief, hurt, and heartbroken that Christian aligned himself with Gangrel. Edge said he was also very angry, but while Christian made his decision, so would Edge.

• Bloodbath Match: Edge defeated Gangrel.
- A bucket of blood was placed on a big box on the outside of the ring. Both Gangrel and Edge went after it in the early part of the match, but were unsuccessful. As the match went on, Gangrel mainly dominated Edge. Edge hit a reversed powerbomb and went for a top rope maneuver, but Gangrel knocked him down and was back on top. Gangrel went for the blood, but instead decided on a chair. Edge ended up kicking the chair into Gangrel's face, which busted Gangrel open. Edge then went for the Spear, but crashed into the chair Gangrel was holding. Gangrel then hit his Implant DDT and went for the bucket of blood, at which point the lights went out and The Brood music played. When the lights returned, Gangrel was covered in blood, with Christian standing beside him. Edge took the victory. Christian entered and ring and hugged Edge, officially meaning they were back together.

• Backstage, Shane McMahon made his way to to the ring, while Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown on another shot.

• Shane McMahon Interview.
- Shane received chants of "Asshole." He said many were wondering where he was when his father left the WWF the previous week on Raw is War. He said he was at home, watching. He went on about his father, saying he possesed the balls the size of grapefruits. He said he was watching the man that lived up to his guarantee, which was that he would walk off on his own show - the show that McMahon and his company built. Shane said he was sitting at home, hoping the fans would pay McMahon the proper respect. He said his father deserved a farewell party, greater than Wayne Gretzsky and Michael Jordon's, but instead, the crowd mocked him with a song delivered by Jim Ross. The crowd started to sing, "Nah nah nah nah ... Oh Hell Yeah ... Goodbye." He said his father made the WWF into what it was today, as it was the best built brand of entertainment. He said the WWF was far more recognized than Disney, Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, and Time Warner. He said without McMahon, we wouldn't be here today, to experience Raw is War, buy merchandise, watching PPV, watching people like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, The Big Show, Triple H, Chyna, Kane, X-Pac, Road Dogg, Mr. Ass, etc. He also said without McMahon, there wouldn't be Ted Turner's WCW wrasslin'. He said most of the WCW roster was made up of superstars McMahon built long ago, as Jerry Lawler and Ross agreed. He asked what would happen to The Corporate Ministry. But first, he said he was talking to Triple H at length, with Triple H guaranteeing he would defeat Austin in their Heavyweight Title match at the Summerslam PPV, with Jesse Ventura as the Guest Referee. The crowd chanted, "Austin." Shane then announced the entire Corporate Ministry was free to do whatever they wanted to whoever they wanted, until he decided to bring everyone back together, while he focused on Test. He called Test a big, jacked-up scumbag. He told Test to stay away from his sister, Stephanie, at which point Test made his way out near the entrance-way. Test said he told Shane once to stay out of his and Stephanie's business. He said Shane and the rest of The Mean Street Posse would now be his business. He said he would go through Fat Ass Pete Gas, Rodney, Joey Abs until he got to Shane. He said Stephanie would eventually become an only child.

• Backstage, Road Dogg and Kane made their way to the ring. RD was visibly frustrated with Kane, since Kane couldn't hear him.

• Backstage, Al Snow had his puppy Pepe. He was trying to flush Head down the toilet, but couldn't.

• The Big Show and The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) defeated Kane and Road Dogg with The Undertaker's Tombstone.
- Road Dogg made his way out, saying some might have thought he was dumb coming out alone to take on The Big Show and The Undertaker, but he wasn't too lean, he wore neon green, and by his side he had that big red machine. Kane and RD were hot in the beginning, double clotheslining their opponents out of the ring. Soon enough, however, the heels were on top, working on RD. RD soon low-blowed The Big Show to attempt to make the hot tag to Kane, but was unsuccessful. He soon low-blowed The Undertaker once he (Undertaker) was tagged in, at which point Kane was tagged in. Kane cleaned house. As RD threatened Big Show with a chair on the outside, which RD ended up getting knocked into his face, Kane nailed The Undertaker with a chokeslam. He wanted to follow-up with the Tombstone, but was distracted by Big Show, who was holding the chair. As Kane went after Big Show, his neck was snapped on the ropes, slingshotting him back into The Undertaker for the Tombstone. Big Show and The Undertaker continued their attack following the match. The Acolytes were going to make their ways down, but were attacked by a baseball bat, courtesy of Hardcore Holly. Holly seemed as if he was ordering Big Show and The Undertaker as he made his way down, with Big Show saying, "What are you doing?"

• Backstage, The Rock made his way in. A crew member wanted to shake his hand, but The Rock acted as if he was going to slap him. Another member was carrying in The Rock's luggage. The Rock threw about six or seven hundred dollars in the air. As the crew member went for it, The Rock pushed him down. Highlights were then shown The Rock throwing out the first pitch at the previous Sunday's Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game.

• A promo aired, confirming Jesse Ventura for the 8/9 Raw is War from Chicago, Illinois.

• Mr. Ass Interview.
- Mr. Ass said he had came to talk about ass. He said it would be The Perfect Ass vs. The People's Ass at the Summerslam PPV. The crowd chanted, "Rocky." Ass claimed his ass was everything The Rock wanted. He said he had proof, as he supposedly caught footage of The Rock coming out of the shower. A fat, blubbery, completely exposed rear was then shown on the Titan Tron. The Rock then appeared from the backstage area. The Rock said he had finally came back to Columbus, Ohio. He said Ass didn't impress him, saying the footage of the rear was of Ass' fat-ass mama. He said he would take a Diet Coke and napkin to stick straight up Ass and Chyna's candyasses. He said if The Rock hit Ass, he would die, but if he missed, the wind would come back and give Ass pneumonia. He said Ass stood in the ring with tears falling down his cheeks and piss falling down his pants. The Rock then went on about himself, to the crowd's delight.

• Pre-recorded footage was shown of D-Lo giving Mark Henry an Energy drink and a healthy vegetable meal. Henry said, "What is this?" He said he was from Texas and they eat meat. D-Lo said he was trying to help Henry get his blood pressure down. Henry asked if he could get some sauce, butter, or something, as Jim Ross recommended his own barbeque sauce.

• D-Lo Brown defeated Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) via Pinfall, to capture the Intercontinental Title.
- The European and Intercontinental Titles were both on the line. D-Lo Brown and Jeff Jarrett wrestled a back and forth match that saw Jarrett order Debra around a lot. D-Lo started to take a major advantage, executing the Sky-High, at which point Debra entered the ring with both title belts and opened up her jacket. As the referee was knocked out, D-Lo decided to take one of the belts and nailed Jarrett for the win. Following the match, Jarrett and Debra argued.

• Backstage, during the commercial break, Terry Taylor caught up with Jeff Jarrett, along with Debra. Jarrett said the only reason he wasn't the Intercontinental Champion anymore was because of Debra. Jarrett told Debra to leave, "for now." Debra said she wasn't going to leave, but did. Jarrett said he wanted a rematch.

• Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin made his way to the ring.

• Stone Cold Steve Austin Interview.
- Stone Cold Steve Austin said the previous Monday on Nitro, Triple H talked a lot of trash, by saying he had Austin's number. Austin said it was the biggest bunch of B.S. he had heard in his life. Austin said Triple H could study all the tapes, have a Phd in his backpocket, and be the smartest son of a bitch in the world, but the bottom line was, Austin would whip Triple H's ass. The Undertaker and The Big Show, along with Paul Bearer, made their ways out. The Undertaker said we all knew Austin talked-to-talked, but we would see if he walked-to-walked. The Undertaker said he wanted a Heavyweight Title shot immediately, or, as Austin would say, they would stomp a mudhole in Austin's ass. Austin started to go at it with The Undertaker, only to be taken down by Big Show. The attack continued on Austin, as we went to a commercial break. In pre-recorded footage, Austin was shown slowly making his way to the backstage area, favoring his ribs.

• The Big Bossman defeated Viscera via Pinfall, to retain the Hardcore Champion.
- The Big Bossman and Viscera took it into the crowd, near the corner of the Titan Tron. A guardrail was used. Viscera ended up using a fire extinguisher on Bossman. • Backstage, Triple H arrived. Pre-recorded footage was later shown of Chyna informing Triple H that Stone Cold Steve Austin would defend the Heavyweight Title against The Undertaker later in the show. Triple H, upset, started to throw things around.

• Test defeated Rodney with an Arm-Bar submission.
- Joey Abs and Rodney immediately attacked Test, to give Rodney an early advantage, although it didn't last long. Abs soon made his way back. Test destroyed Rodney, throwing him into a steel staircase on the outside of the ring and soon working on his right arm. During the match, Jim Ross announced that the Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker Heavyweight Title match later in the show would be No Holds Barred. Test took the win after picking Rodney and his arm up, which was basically an arm-bar submission. Test continued the punishment on Rodney, using a chair. Abs wanted to come to the aid of Rodney, but was scared off by Test. Test would only have to go through Abs to get to Shane McMahon, since Test had already broken Pete Gas' ribs.

• Backstage, Michael Cole interviewed Triple H. Cole said it was now The Undertaker's time. Triple shoved Cole down, cursed, and said it was his time. He said the match between The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin wouldn't happen.

• Backstage, The Undertaker was shown talking strategy with The Big Show.

• Steve Blackman and Val Venis went to a No-Contest.
- Steve Blackman had the footage rolled from the previous week's Raw is War show where he backed over Ken Shamrock. Blackman claimed he didn't know Shamrock was there when he backed up. He said he didn't need a car to kick Shamrock's ass, but only his hands and his legs, which was why they called him the Lethal Weapon. Val Venis compared himself to the Internet for his sexual joke. As the back and forth match went on between the two, Ken Shamrock ran in with a chain. He chased Blackman through the crowd. Blackman was soon beaten down. Security official Jim Dotson tried to stop Shamrock, but was unsuccessful. Shamrock beat down Blackman in the backstage area. He was soon held back by officials, where Blackman escaped through a door. Shamrock later went through, only to find no one.

• Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin made his way down to the ring.

• Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Underatker (w/The Big Show, Paul Bearer) went to a No-Contest, to let Austin retain the Heavyweight Title.
- The moment Stone Cold Steve Austin made his way down (in regular clothes), Triple H ran in. Triple H told The Undertaker the match wasn't happening. He said he was the number one contender, and if The Undertaker wanted Austin, he woud have to go through him (Triple H). Triple H said it was his time and someone was going to kick Austin's ass. Triple H said it would be him who would do it, saying he would kick "that son-of-a-bitch's ass." Austin entered the ring and started to go at it with Triple H. Big Show and The Undertaker soon started to go at it with the two. The Acolytes, followed by Kane and Road Dogg, then ran in to battle with Big Show, The Undertaker, and Triple H. Hardcore Holly then entered to go at it with The Acolytes. Mr. Ass was soon in the ring to stomp on Austin, but The Rock made his way in to battle it out with Ass. The Rock was soon going at it with The Undertaker. In the ring, Austin nailed Ass with the Stunner, while Triple H gave RD the Pedigree, as the show went off the air.
