• Triple H Interview, with Chyna.
- Jerry Lawler was in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. He was introduced by Jim Ross as the future Mayor of Memphis, as many signs were shown. To kick off the show, Triple H said the time for talking was over and demanded for The Undertaker to get his dead ass out there immediately. The Undertaker, along with Paul Bearer, made his way to the ring, only to be stopped by The Corporate Ministry. Vince McMahon said it wouldn't happen because everyone just wanted to see The Corporate Ministry split in two, including the fans, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Rock. McMahon asked the crowd how many would like to see The Undertaker and Triple beat the hell out of each other later in the show. The fans popped big, but McMahon said it wouldn't happen that night or any night. The fans chanted, "Asshole," and McMahon told them to shut up. McMahon said that we wouldn't be crowning a King of the Ring this year, but rather a Queen of the Ring (Chyna). McMahon said The Rock couldn't get what he wanted just because he wanted to be the Heavyweight Title. McMahon said The Undertaker would crush The Rock to oblivion at the King of the Ring PPV in their title match. McMahon then discussed matters on Austin. He said he hadn't gotten the smell out of his office from the manuer Austin had dumped in McMahon's office. McMahon talked about his and Shane's Handicap-Latter match at the PPV, with a briefcase with the company's stock of ownership at the top to reach for victory. McMahon said he and Shane understand The Corporate Ladder and the ladder of success. McMahon said Austin would know where he stood, and that was at the bottom of the ladder. McMahon said Austin would bow in defeat, at which point the CEO of the WWF, Austin, made his way out near the entrance-way and stood on a ladder. Austin drank a beer. Austin said he accepted the winner-takes-all Handicap-Ladder match against McMahon and Shane at the PPV. Austin said McMahon and Shane were the two most bastard employees he ever had. He said down the road, he would once again be the Heavyweight Champion, as The Undertaker shook his head. He said once he got McMahon and Shane in the ring, both of their asses belonged to him, no matter what they attempted to do. Austin added a stipulation in the Handicap-Ladder Match, which was if one of the members of The Corporate Ministry interfered, McMahon and Shane would be disqualified, thus giving Austin full power. McMahon instead insisted a No Holds Barred match, because he and Shane said so. Commissioner, Shawn Michaels then made his way up the mini-elevator on the stage. Michaels said if before he started making a few decisions, he needed a cup of coffee. His new associates, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, made their ways out to hand Michaels his coffee. Michaels announced that we would have a match later in the show to decide the final stipulation of the Handicap-Ladder match at the PPV, which would be Austin against any Corporate Ministry that McMahon's saw fit. If Austin won, Austin's stipulation of if any Corporate Ministry member interfered, McMahon and Shane would be disqualified, meanining Austin would take full control of the WWF. If The Corporate Ministry member won, McMahon and Shane would get their stipulation of a No Holds Barred match. Michaels asked what member The Corporate Ministry would pick. McMahon chose The Undertaker, but Michaels said he was already booked for later in the show. Shane then chose Triple H, but he was booked too, as he and The Undertaker would go one-on-one for the title. McMahon then said The Big Bossman would kick Austin's ass. Michaels agreed, but said to make sure that no Corporate Ministry members interfered, he would be the Guest Referee. Austin then said Guest Referee or not, he would beat Bossman's sorry ass. Austin and Michaels then drank beers. As Austin's music played, Michaels interrupted and announced that of the request of Patterson and Brisco, they would take on McMahon and Shane later in the show. Michaels' music then played, as Patterson and Brisco teased The Corporate Ministry with dirty dancing. The Corporate Ministry went after them, as McMahon, Shane, and Viscera were left in the ring. Ken Shamrock then entered and nailed Viscera with a chair. McMahon and Shane made a run for it.
• Backstage, Jeff Jarrett, along with Debra, argued with Comissioner Shawn Michaels over him being book in a match where he would defend his Intercontinental Title since he didn't even have his wrestling attire. Michaels was too busy looking at Debra's puppies, but Jarrett would still be forced to work the match.
• Backstage, Vince McMahon explained to The Corporate Ministry they had to stay together, despite what Shawn Michaels had booked for the show. McMahon said they had to watch out for Ken Shamrock. Shane asked if any of them had any questions. Midian said he saw Shane's bag and saw that he had another belt (a title belt). Midian asked if he could have it. Shane said to do whatever he wanted. Shane then told his father he did an excellent job of booking two The Union members against each other in a match, which were Shamrock and Test, obviously because of the hatred of Test for taking Stephanie on a date.
• Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) defeated Ken Shamrock and Test via Pinfall, to retain the Intercontinental Title.
- Test and Ken Shamrock were set to go one-on-one, but Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco brought Jeff Jarrett, along with Debra, to the ring. Jarrett was not in his wrestling attire. Patterson got on the microphone and said it would be a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Title, courtesy of Commissioner Shawn Michaels. Shamrock and Test ended up wresting each other, instead of working as a main double-team on Jarrett. As the match went on, Shamrock strapped Test in the Ankle Lock, but Jarrett broke the submission maneuver. As Jarrett and Test battled on the outside of the ring, a returning Steve Blackman made his way down and destroyed Shamrock with a kendo stick, which let Jarrett enter to make the pin after ramming Test into the ringpost on the outside.
• Backstage, The Rock made his way to the ring.
• Backstage, medical officials were trying to tend to Ken Shamrock, but he yelled out for them to stay away from him, as he threw a stretcher. Steve Blackman was calmly shown walking out of the arena with his bab.
• The Rock defeated Edge with the People's Elbow.
- The Rock said that he finally had returned to Memphis, Tennesee. He said he would gladly walk to The Undertaker's learning tree in their Heavyweight Title match at the King of the Ring PPV, and take a each leaf off the tree, and stick a branch straight up The Undertaker's candyass. Edge came out to his original music and entered through the crowd. The Rock mainly dominated the match, but as Edge took the offensive, The Rock caught him with the Rock Bottom after an attempt of a top rope maneuver. The Rock then finished off Edge with the People's Elbow for the win. Following the match, The Undertaker entered, as he and The Rock went at it. The Undertaker, however, quickly caught The Rock with the Tombstone, as The Rock was laid there to rest.
• Backstage, Vince and Shane McMahon asked Triple H, along with Chyna, what they were going to do in the Heavyweight Title match with The Undertaker. Triple H said, "What do you mean what am I going to do? I'm going to kick his ass." McMahon tried to explain thing to Triple H, as we went to a commercial break.
• Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin was gearing up for his upcoming match with The Big Bossman to determine the final stipulations of Handicap-Ladder Match at the King of the Ring PPV.
• Gorilla-Press Slam Match: Viscera defeated Mark Henry.
- This match came about after Mark Henry challenged Viscera the previous night on Sunday Night Heat. Both superstars used their power to their advantage. Viscera was able to take the victory after Henry went to the second turnbuckle, with Viscera barely gorilla-pressing him off. Viscera was not through, however, as he continued to punish Henry with a leg drop. He went to the top turnbuckle, but before he could do anything, D-Lo Brown entered and nailed him with several punches. Henry and D-Lo both worked together to bodyslam Viscera off the top turnbuckle. Midian then ran in and clocked D-Lo and Henry with what appeared to be the European Title belt (the one from Shane McMahon's bag).
• Backstage, Michael Cole interviewed Harry Beaver Cleavage, along with Mrs. Cleavage, about his upcoming match with Meat. Beaver buried his head in his mother's breasts, saying he didn't know why he had to go up against a guy named Meat. Beaver then took off his hat, saying, "I can't do this." He walked away with the producer saying, "Chaz (real name), we're live." Jim Ross said due to creative differences, the Beaver Cleavage vs. Meat match would not take place later in the show. Lawler said that was what live television was about, since you don't expect things the way you expect thim to go.
• Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin made his way toward the ring.
• Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Big Bossman with the Stunner, to earn his stipulation in the Winner-Take-All Handicap-Ladder Match with Vince and Shane McMahon at the King of the Ring PPV.
- Guest Referee, Shawn Michaels, made his way out to a huge pop. Beofre the match, Vince and Shane McMahon brought out a Corporate Ladder, and immediately left to the backstage area once Stone Cold Steve Austin ran after them. Austin quickly nailed Bossman with the ladder and threw Bossman back in the ring to continue with his advantage. McMahon and Shane brought the ladder to the ringside area this time around. They placed it near the announcer's table. Shane was doing commentary, as his father stood in pride on the ladder. Meanwhile, Austin and Bossman briefly brawled over the guardrail. Near the announcer's table, Austin slammed Bossman's face into the table. He then went over to McMahon and tipped over the ladder, causing McMahon to land hard on the announcer's table, which didn't break. Shane then tended to his father as the action continued on the inside. An angry McMahon joined in for commentary, saying he and Shane would make Austin pay. Austin went for the Stunner, but missed. As Michaels argued with McMahon, Bossman attempted to use the nightstick on Austin, but Austin easily countered with the Stunner for the win. Austin's stipulation would be on in his Handicap-Ladder Match with McMahon and Shane at the PPV, where if any Corporate Ministry member interfered, McMahon and Shane would be disqualified, thus giving Austin 100 percent ownership of the WWF. The Corporate Ministry made their ways out and helped Bossman to the backstage area. McMahon and Shane taunted Austin from the outside, holding up the ladder. A limping McMahon and his son went near the entrance-way, and were told by Austin that they were both next. Austin then drank a couple of beers with Michaels to celebrate.
• Backstage, The Corporate Ministry were shown all assaulting The Big Bossman for his loss to Stone Cold Steve Austin, including Vince and Shane McMahon.
• Val Venis and Prince Albert (w/Droz) went to a No-Contest.
- Val Venis said, "(Bruce) Prichard, send them out now." A pre-recorded interview was shown with Prince Albert, along with Droz, where he basically said he wasn't afraid of Venis. Venis was the one to make the challenge for Albert just the previous night on Sunday Night Heat. Venis handcuffed Droz and then nailed Albert with another pair of handcuffs. He hit Albert with the Money Shot in a match that didn't even start. Venis then handcuffed Albert to the rope. Venis got into Albert and Droz' piercing and tatoo briefcase. He pulled down Albert's pants, and tatooed Albert on his rear in black ink with Venis' initials, which was payback from the piercing Venis received a week before.
• Backstage, X-Pac, Kane, and Road Dogg all made their ways to the ring.
• Backstage, Gerald Brisco practiced his punches on Pat Patterson. Patterson told him to hold it since he wasn't young anymore.
• The Acolytes and Mr. Ass defeated X-Pac, Kane, and Road Dogg with Ass' Famouser, to let The Acolytes retain the Tag Team Titles.
- X-Pac and Road Dogg came to the D-Generation X entrance music, while the rest came out to their own. X-Pac said he wasn't going to bitch about his and Kane's loss of the Tag Team Titles, but asked The Acolytes to put the titles on the line. Mr. Ass immediately accepted, with The Acolytes looking at him as if what was he doing. Road Dogg then said The Acolytes were speaking through their ass, which got the match underway, as both teams went at it. As eveyrone battled on the outside of the ring, X-Pac went for the Bronco Buster on Ass, but hit the turnbuckle. Ass then attempted to hit X-Pac for one of the Tag Team Titles belt, but X-Pac countered. Bradshaw went for the Clothesline from Hell on X-Pac, but X-Pac threw him over the rope. After X-Pac grabbed one of the titles, Ass caught him with the Famouser for the win. Ass then left with one of the Tag Team Titles for some reason, which once again left The Acolytes in confusion.
• Backstage, The Big Show made his way toward the ring.
• In this week's installment of G-TV, Hardcore Champion, Al Snow was reading the newspaper. He continued to pick his nose, trying to hide it with the paper, to the point where he ate a booger. He argued with Head over eating his booger, denying it.
• Cortez Kennedy of the Seattle Seahawks was shown in a ringside seat.
• The Big Show defeated Hardcore Holly via Pinfall.
- Hardcore Holly made his way out near the entrance-way and said he was the big shot. He said he didn't like The Big Show and to be perfectly honest, he thought Big Show sucked. He said Big Show hadn't had a round with Hardcore Holly yet, so he demanded to make their match at Hardcore Match. Big Show accepted by nodding his head. Holly then called Big Show a big son of a bitch, saying Big Show might put him down, but he won't stay down. Big Show then beat on Holly to the backstage area. Big Show sent Holly to the outside. Holly attempted to throw a trash can at Big Show, but ended up hitting the cameraman. Big Show then threw Holly into the concrete wall. He threw a guy out of his way, who owned a red car that Big Show used to tip over a ledge that supposedly landed on Holly. Big Show then stepped down to place his foot on Holly for the pin.
• Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco vs. Vince and Shane McMahon resulted in a No-Contest.
- Vince McMahon stood on the announcer's table and showed off his physique. Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco worked well on Shane and Vince McMahon, until Vince low-blowed Patterson. Ken Shamrock then entered. He was clipped by Shane, while Vince once again left his son Shane to Shamrock. Shamrock then nailed Shane with a belly-to-belly suplex. Patterson and Brisco worked on Shane, until The Mean Street Posse interfered. Patterson and Brisco remained on top, until a new and unknown member of The Mean Street entered and destroyed the faces with a chair.
• On split screens, The Undertaker, along with Paul Bearer, and Triple H, along with Chyna, made their ways to the ring.
• The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) defeated Triple H (w/Chyna) by Disqualification, to retain the Heavyweight Title.
- Triple H worked on The Undertaker's knee to take the advantage. Chyna got her cheapshots on The Undertaker, with Paul Bearer getting in her face. As the match continued, The Undertaker put Triple H through a chokeslam. Chyna entered the ring with a chair. She went for The Undertaker, but The Undertaker countered. The Undertaker then went after Triple H with the chair, but Triple H blocked it with a boot to The Undertaker's face. At this point, The Rock made his way in, and put The Undertaker through the Rock Bottom, resulting in a Disqualification. As Triple H and Chyna left, The Rock signaled for his gigantic, brauma bull symbol to lowered to the ring. As the brauma bull was lowered, with it snorting out smoke, The Rock put the People's Elbow on The Undertaker. The Corporate Ministry then entered. The Rock was outnumbered, but The Big Bossman decided to get revenge on The Corporate Ministry by nailing them with his nightstick. Midian was wearing the European Title. Meanwhile, The Rock handcuffed Paul
Bearer to his brauma bull symbol (it was never raised, at least on air), with The Corporate Ministry looking on. The Rock said said his brauma bull would come on top in the title match with The Undertaker at the King of the Ring PPV, as the show went off the air.
