New Age Outlaws DQ Too Cool w/Rikishi Phatu
Rikishi gives Mr. Ass a kick to the head when Mr. Ass mocks him. Match starts with Gunn down and Taylor's trademark 'worm' move across the ring. Back and forth action with the tag teams wroking well with each other. Too Cool hits the former 'vegamatic' finishing move and have the pin on Road Dogg but the ref is distracted by Gunn. Ref is still distracted with The Holly Cousins run in (DQ) and break up the pin. Ring erupts into a battle involving the three team. Rikishi ends up getting his head bounced off a steel chair courtesy of a DDT from Hardcore.
- Limo pulls into the underground parking lot and Stephanie MacMahon gets out.
- Mankind out for some mike time. First off he thanks Worcester, Ma and everyone watching at home for making his book #1 on the New York Time best selling list. Mick wants to clear things up between himself, Al Snow and The Rock so he calls Al down to the ring to talk out their problems. Al works the crowd as a heel and gets a decent 'asshole' chant for his efforts. Al says he is a true friend unlike all these people who will forget about him like he is yesterday's news. Al can't stand by and watch the former hardcore legend and King of Death matches deface himself, and act like a clown. Al is going to get a partner from backstage tonight and he will take on the Rock and Sock connection with his mystery partner. Al ends this segment with this: (paraphrased) "you remember how hurt you were when the Rock through you book in the garbage? You felt like he stabbed you in the back, and do you remember when you turned your back on The Rock in that title match? I hope you remember because that is just how I felt when I read your book and read all the Al Snow jokes in it. I threw away your book!" Mick is speechless and Al gives him a cheap shot. Refs are out for the pull apart as the fight backs into a corner.
- Steph and Vince backstage. Steph wants Vince to keep his word that he will not get involved in the way she wants to handle the Triple H situation.
Kurt Angle & Steve Blackman defeated Hardy Boyz w/ Terri
During Blackman's Titan Tron entrance a symbol appears on the screne and his music gets messed up momentarily. The King and Ross have no idea what the hell it was. Kurt starts off the match with Jeff Hardy. Matt gets tagged in as does Blackman and they work horribly together blowing multiple spots. Ending comes very fast with Blackman nailing Jeff Hardy with one of his martial art sticks he carries to the ring with him. Kurt gets the pin.
- Steph is shown walking towards the DX locker room.
- Steph is in the DX locker room requesting that Triple H sign some annulment papers. Triple H says the least he can do is look at the papers after he tries to get her to head into the shower with him.
Val Venis NC D'Lo in a match to determine the number one contender for the European Championship and who would meet the British Bulldog at Armageddon this Sunday.
Back and forth match until Val hits a super plex from the top rope and gets a two count. Right after the pin attempt the Mean Street Posse and the Bulldog run in and destroy Val and D'Lo. Val gets a Running Powerslam from Davey Both and the Posse triple team D'Lo who ends up getting a neckbreaker (Buff Blockbuster) from the top rope.
- Mae Young and Moolah are heading to the Blockbuster Music Awards and have a promo where Mae is wondering 'where her dawgs are at' and she even pours out some liquor for 'her homies'.
- Rock and Mick shown talking in the back.
- DX huddling in the back looking at the papers from Steph.
The Godfather w/hoes defeated Prince Albert
Same match we usually get from the Godfather with no reaction from the crowd at all until the Ho Train and a roll-up pin.
- Triple H walking in the back with Steph's papers in his hand and a bouquet of roses.
- Triple H now on his way to the ring with papers and the bouquet of roses. First he tries to get heat from the crowd but they do not really comply. Then he goes on to berate the fans for ripping on Steph last Thursday in her "heart-wrenching speech". The censor is so way off on bleeping out the word "slut" it is hilarious. He will sign the papers if that is what Steph really wants and he wants her to come out, which she does. Hunter says, "you complete me", hand motions and all. Steph: "I'm tired of your games you insincere son of a bitch. I hope my father cripples you this Sunday at Armageddon." Triple H: "If that old goat can beat me at Armageddon I will sign these papers and make you free, but the whole world knows that as long as your dad has a breath in his body that I will never receive a shot at the WWF Title because he hates my guts so I'll tell you what. If he beats me then the wedding is annulled, but if I beat him then I get a shot at the title." No holds barred match at Armageddon; Vince gets the win then the wedding is annulled, if Triple H wins then he will get a WWF Title shot. Segment finishes Vince agreeing to the new match provisions and the deal is sealed with a kiss.... Triple H forcing a kiss from Steph that is.
- Vince, Brisco and Patterson discussing what just went down before the commercial break. Mankind offers Vince any help he needs because "he has been in lots of no holds barred matches in the past."
Rikishi Phatu defeated Hardcore Holly w/Crash
- Too Cool is commentating for this match. Squash match over in less than a minute with Rikishi hitting a sit down drop in the corner before getting the pin. Too Cool and Rikishi dance, dance, dance after the match.
- Another promo with Mae Young and Moolah saying they are heading to the Blockbuster Awards Wednesday Night.
Mike Cole wants to introduce us to Barbara Bush who will be in the four corner evening gown match against Ivory, Jacky, and Ms. Kitty this Sunday. B.B., who is wearing a gown, can't even get a word out when Ivory interrupts and heads to the ring. Banter from Ivory until Jacky heads to the ring. On her way down that same symbol that interrupted Blackman's intro interrupts her's. King and Ross still have no idea what the hell it means. Chyna and Kitty also out and it is announced that Kitty doesn't want to be in the match because she doesn't wear underwear. Chyna just tells her she better win.
- Big Show and Big Vis fighting in the backstage area. Vis gives Show a big splash through a table before we head to break.
Triple H & X-Pac defeated Kane w/ Tori & Test
- Kane attacks X-Pac right away, but a quick tag gets Triple H in there with Kane still having the upperhand when Test is tagged in. Powerslam on Triple H for a two count, then interference by X-Pac gets the DX members back into the match. Ref is distracted for double teaming on Test, knee drop from Triple H gets two on Test. X-Pac in and gets a two count on Test also after a spinning heel kick off the ropes. X-Pac loses the advantage when he goes top rope and gets caught by Test. Gut-wrench powerbomb later and we have two hot tags with Kane and Triple H in the match now. Kane is cleaning house on the DX members. Kane nails a top rope clothesline on Triple H. Test gets tagged and heads to the top but gets crotched by X-Pac who is on the outside. Triple H and Test both down in the ring and X-Pac begins to chase Tori around the ring. He chases her in the ring and we get a cool spot as X-Pac sets up for the bronco buster but on his jump he gets caught by the throat in Kane's grasp and thrown to the center of the ring. Triple H and Test are up now, Triple H tries for his finisher but it is blocked, Test sets up for his pump handle slam; One low blow later and the Pedigree is executed on Test and we have a pin with DX winning.
- Al Snow shown talking with his partner who is not seen.
Big Show defeated Viscera
World Title is on the line. Two count right away on Show after a Samoan Drop from Vis. Another two count on Show after "the biggest bulldog headlock" Ross has ever seen. Big Show nails a scoop slam and heads to the top rope for a drop kick which is good enough to get the three count.
- Bossman shown on the Titan Tron speaking with the Big Show's Mother at her house. Bossman has records about the families past. Bossman will tell Show unless his Mom does. She breaks down and says the Big Show is illegitimate. Bossman: "Being a bastard is ten times worse than having his daddy being dead."
- Big Show shown on the phone now talking with his Mom. Asking her why he was never told about being illegitimate in his 27 year life.
Mankind & The Rock NC Al Snow & Chris Jericho
- Jericho is introduced as Snow's partner and does some mike work but is attacked from behind by Chyna which starts the main event. Jericho and The Rock square off as do Snow and Foley. Back and forth match with the team of Snow and Jericho taking the brunt of the punishment until Mick is double teamed on the outside. Jericho misses a Lionsault and Mick gets a chance to tag in The Rock. The Rock gets a two count on Jericho after a spine buster but the pin is broken up by Al. Jericho and Rock battle up the entrance ramp. Mick has the Socko-claw on Al in the center of the ring. The New Age Outlaws are now out and attack The Rock on the entrance ramp after The Rock gives Jericho the Rock Bottom. NAOs clean house on Mick, but The Rock makes the save hitting the Rock Bottom on the Road Dogg. Al uses Head to smash Foley and Mick is down. The Rock stands strong in the ring as Snow backs his way up the ramp holding Head. End of the show.
