The show begins with Stephanie and Helmsley backstage holding hands and embracing. We also pan to the back of the arena as Shane waits for his father’s arrival.

Chris Jericho addresses the crowd stating that he now adds credibility to the Intercontinental title. X-Pac interrupts and challenges the new champ for the title. Before the match up begins Chyna and Ms. Kitty walk out and watch at the entranceway.

  • Chris Jericho d. X-Pac via a disqualification.
Jericho springboard dropkicks X-Pac early to the outside. X-Pac recovers briefly and attempts an early broncobuster but Jericho moves out of the way. Jericho then hits a power bomb into the walls of Jericho. Just as X-Pac is about to tap out, Chyna comes down to ringside and hits the referee causing Jericho to retain the title via disqualification.

The cameras switch to the back of the arena once again as Helmsley and Stephanie confront Shane McMahon. Shane expresses to Stephanie that she has one family and she messed it all up.

The Godfather makes his way to ringside and is interrupted with GTV footage on the Titan Tron of Mark Henry in bed with Mae Young.

  • Mark Henry d. The Godfather via pin fall.
Just as the Godfather is about to hit the splash on a weakened Mark Henry, Mae Young slugs towards ringside and distracts him. Mark Henry rolls the Godfather up in a small package for the quick victory. Mark Henry and Mae Young exit with one another.

We go backstage once again with Vince wielding a hammer and Shane attempting to reason with his father. As we go to a commercial break, Vince is shown hammering down the DX dressing room door.

Vince makes his way to the ring and calls Triple H out. He calls Triple H a coward, a rapist and demands for the game to come to ringside. Triple H’s music blares but Stephanie comes out instead. Stephanie provokes her father asking him to raise the hammer above his head and bash her head in. Stephanie recounts her terrible experiences from past months as her dad used her as a pawn to screw Steve Austin. She continues stating that the best way to get back at him for hurting her was to marry the man he hated the most, Triple H. The segment ended with her admitting that Triple H turned her on and then she and Helmsley kissing at the entrance way.

In the back of the arena Vince demands to be taken out of the arena. Triple H and Stephanie then gloat to one another and begin planning the events for tonight’s program.

The Rock makes his way to ringside and with the help of Wade Boggs lays the smacketh down. The food of choice for the evening was chicken.

  • The Rock/Mankind d. The Dudleys via pin fall.
The Dudleys begin by trying to chant their 3 commandments. Rocky stops the chant and asked who these roody poos were. Buh Buh stutters and says Rock should know by now that they are the “..Du-Du-Du Dudleys.” The Rock stutters himself and responds with, “….it-it-it-it doesn’t matter what your name is.” In the latter part of the contest the Dudleys attempt to use a chair, however, the referee stops the action and gives the Rock and Mankind the victory via disqualification. Triple H and Stephanie come out and make the match a no disqualification match up and the contest continues through commercial breaks. Back to the match the Rock and Mankind exchange turns slapping the Dudleys with chair shots. The Dudleys regain control and man handles Mankind on the outside. While the referee’s back is turned D-Von hit Mankind with low blow. Mankind is able to sneak in a double-armed DDT and tag the Rock in. The Rock goes to town on both the Dudleys and hits D-Von with the people’s elbow. Just as the referee is about to make the 3 count Buh Buh pulls him out of the ring. Triple H’s music comes on again and a referee with a Vince mask comes down to ringside and makes a three count. Mankind rips the mask off and it is Al Snow. The Rock and Mankind exchange blows on Snow knocking him to the outside. The Rock resumes the match by giving Buh Buh the Rock Bottom and the real referee makes the count giving Rock and Sock the pin fall victory.

  • Ms. Kitty d. Tori in a chocolate pudding match via pin fall.
Ms. Kitty tells Lilian Garcia from here on out she will be called the Cat. The Cat spears Tori early on in the pool of chocolate pudding. X-Pac, dressed in scuba gear interferes allowing the Cat to get the pin fall victory and retain the Women’s title. Kane then comes out and press slams X-Pac into the pudding. Lilian Garcia announces ‘Ms. Kitty’ as the victor, but the Cat reiterates she wants to be called the Cat, and pushes Lilian into the pudding for her trouble.

  • The Acolytes versus The Mean Street Posse went to a no contest.
The Acolytes dismantle all three Posse members with chair shots, intense power bombs, and several double team moves. The Acolytes then just walk away and leave the carnage in the ring.

  • Edge/Christian d. The Hardys w/ Terri.
The match is staged in a steel cage and the first person to climb over and land on the outside is the winner. As expected both teams astounded with several high risk maneuvers including; a Russian leg sweep from the top rope by Christian on Matt Hardy, a Senton bomb from the top of the cage by Jeff, and a cork screw bomb from Edge from the top of the cage onto both the Hardys. In the latter part of the grueling contest, Christian and Matt hit the floor at the same time and the referee announced the match must continue. Jeff climbs over the top first, however, Christian catches him before he hit the ground. Edge is then able to climb out of the ring through the cage door to get the victory for he and Christian.

  • The New Age Outlaws d. Kane in a triple threat match via pin fall.
Kane is able to power out of a double team by the Outlaws early in the contest. Kane then choke slammed Gunn but failed at the pin attempt. Kane attempts another choke slam onto the Road Dogg but is hit with a low blow via Gunn. The Outlaws then double team the Big Red Machine with a spiked pile driver, and were awarded the pin fall win.

  • The Big Show d. Big Bossman/Prince Albert.
The handicap match starts on the entranceway. The Show performs an amazing drop kick on Albert and then went air born to give Bossman a lariat. The Show then choke slammed Bossman for the pin fall victory to retain the WWF Title.

Stephanie then tells the Outlaws she thinks they should defend their tag titles tonight. The Outlaws interject stating they’ve already wrestled. Triple H exclaims that whatever Stephanie says they will do. Stephanie then surprises Triple H by pitting him and Test against the Outlaws for the WWF Tag Team Titles.

  • Triple H/Test versus The New Age Outlaws.
The Outlaws immediately jerk test off the apron and pummel him against the steel steps. Test is then isolated in the Outlaw’s corner and worked on heavily. Test is then thrown to the outside and placed neck first into the guardrail. Triple H tags himself in but rather than attacking the Outlaws he turns around and stomps on Test. The rest of DX then hit Test with a mirage of moves and even a chair shot. Test is then held back for Stephanie to slap him multiple times. The program ends with all DX members including Stephanie doing the DX Chop.
