  • Stone Cold Steve Austin began the program by confronting Vince McMahon about last week’s incident in which he ‘accidentally’ hit Austin with the Championship belt. Vince explained that to prove himself to Austin he would appoint himself guest referee for the Triple Threat Match for the upcoming Survivor Series. The Rock interrupted the segment by exclaiming that he didn’t believe Vince’s story. Triple H then interjected stating that no matter what the odds he would still remain WWF Champion.

  • We cut to a segment with Al Snow, Mankind, and the New Age Outlaws arguing about Al Snow’s WWF toy in his likeness, more specifically ‘head.’

  • The New Age Outlaws defeated Al Snow and Mankind to become the new WWF Tag Team Champions.
Billy Gunn began the match almost beheading Al Snow. Al Snow then aggressively attacked the Road Dog and then tagged in Mankind. Mankind brawled with both of his opponents and then pulled out Socko and locked it onto the Road Dog. Gunn threw mankind outside the ring via an elbow, and Val Venis was quick to come ringside for the ambush. After delivering a Snow Plow onto Road Dogg inside the ring, Gunn is able to sneak in a chair shot to Snow. The Road Dogg quickly makes the pin to once again become the new Tag Team Champions.

  • Cut to the backstage area where Triple H mooned the cameras in disgust of Vince McMahon’s idle threats.

  • Returning from commercials, Al Snow explained that he and Mankind lost due to his mind being pre occupied from the allegations that his WWF action figure was detrimental to the youth of America.

  • The Godfather w/ Hos defeated Val Venis via a disqualification.
The Godfather made an initial offer to Val to take the Ho’s. Val pretended to walk out with them but instead got a cheap shot on The Godfather. An angered Mankind interrupted the match and began to brawl with Val all over the arena, giving the DQ victory to The Godfather.

  • Michael Hayes interviewed Stephanie, Test, and Linda McMahon following the break. Linda McMahon stated that she is very accepting of Test into their family.

  • Lilly Garcia announced that Paul Wight Sr. had passed away and that a 10 bell salute would be made. Bossman who explained that he had a ‘sympathy card’ interrupted the ringing of the bells. The card basically mocked The Big Show’s father death.

  • Edge, Christian and The Headbangers versus The British Bulldog and The Mean Street Posse.
Rodney began the match missing a moonsault on Edge. Pete Gas is isolated and hit with a reverse DDT and a Splash to give the victory to Edge, Christian and The Headbangers.’

  • Backstage, Vince McMahon and family continue to warn DX to cease their disruptive conduct.

  • Returning from commercials, the program cut to a promo with Chris Jericho in Beaver Stadium on the campus of Penn State. He explained that he would give a beating to Chyna come Survivor Series.

  • The Rock defeated X-Pac via pin fall.
X-Pac quickly struck offensively. X-Pac was able to clothesline The Rock over the top rope. The Rock was then driven into the steel steps. The Rock returns the favor and drove X-Pac’s head into the steel steps as well. Both men then exchanged chops and stiff shots in the corner. X-Pac then slowed the pace down with a sleeper hold. The combatants again go on the outside and X-Pac is hip tossed into the referee. X-Pac was then able to hit Rocky with a chair shot and then the Bronco Buster. X-Pac then tried to execute the X-Factor but Rocky reversed it into the Rock Bottom for the pin fall victory.

  • DX come to ringside and began to attack the Rock. Not soon after the chaos, Vince made the announcement that Triple H would defend the WWF Championship against Test, with Shane McMahon as the guest referee and Vince the guest time keeper. Vince also set the stipulation that if any DX members came within 50 feet of the ring he would strip the title from Triple H. The Rock returned to ringside and proceeded to give a frustrated Helmsley a People’s Elbow to end the segment.

  • Chyna with Ms. Kitty walked to the ring and made a statement to Chris Jericho stating that “the worst thing Chris Jericho could do is look a across the ring and see a woman.” Stevie Richards dressed up in an Elvis costume interrupted Chyna’s time and began to serenade her in adulation. An angered Jericho quickly came ringside and attacked Richards and began to brawl with Chyna.

  • The program then cut to The Acolytes in a bar hitting on a woman, followed by Al Snow once again backstage still distraught over his WWF action figure. Mankind then presented Al with a new ‘head’ and the both of them go back and forth with ‘head’ jokes.

  • Kane defeated The Big Bossman via a disqualification.
The near seven footer began the contest with an athletic drop kick. Bossman regained composure and caught Kane with a low blow between the corner post. Kane then goes corner to corner with several lariats followed by a highflying lariat from the top rope. Prince Albert then interfered and Kane is double-teamed.

  • The Hollys defeated Too Cool via pinfall.
Too Cool overpowered the super heavyweight Crash Holly early on. It wasn’t until a missed splash that Hardcore was tagged in able to execute a suplex slam onto Scotty ‘to hottie,’ to get the pin fall victory.

  • Bradshaw and Farooq are show once again in the bar, this time being taunted by the locals.

  • Triple H defeated Test to retain the WWF Championship.
Test attempted two near falls early on in the contest, with Shane making very quick 2 and a half counts. Test then took a risk on the outside, missing Triple H and running himself into the corner post. Triple H then slammed Test onto the announce table and threw him back inside the ring to continue the onslaught. Triple H began to work on the injured ribs of Test with and abdominal stretch and some well-placed knee drops. Triple H then placed Edge back on the announce table and drove an elbow into Test’s mid section. Test was able to build some momentum and catch Helmsley with a big boot and powerbomb. Test whipped Helmsley into the ropes but dropped his head too early and he was caught with the Pedigree. Shane refused to make the count, while Vince was able to hit Helmsley in the head with the belt. Triple H surprisingly kicked out of the pin but was greeted with the Pump Handle Slam by Test. Just when Test was about to make the pin, Road Dog appeared on the Titan Tron with what seemed to be an abducted Stephanie McMahon. The McMahon’s run towards the backstage area and Triple H is awarded the victory to retain the WWF Championship.
