WWF RAW Report – October 25, 1999

Live from Providence, R.I.

  • NAO are shown talking backstage with Vince McMahon. They ask Vince for a title shot. Vince says that Edge and Christian already have a title shot tonight. They say they want anybody tonight and suggest the Rock n’ Sock connection, but Vince says that Mankind is already fighting HHH tonight. NAO say they are still looking for a fight. HHH arrives and suggests the Rock and Steve Austin. Vince agrees.

  • Godfather looking for his hos. Finds them with Mark Henry. Yells at Mark for using all the merchandise.

  • Viscera with Mideon defeats the Godfather with Mark Henry and at least a dozen hos in a winner take hos match.
    -Viscera says that unlike Mideon, he likes hos and wants a winner take ho match. Viscera tells Mark Henry that if he wins he can have the hos whenever he wanted. The ref sends Mideon away from the ringside area early in the match. The Godfather had Viscera set up for the Ho train, but Mark Henry interfered to help Viscera. Viscera then took the victory. Mark Henry took all but two of the hos. Viscera came back to get the last two hos that remained loyal to the Godfather. He slammed both of the hos. Both are taken away on stretchers.

  • The Rock is shown backstage.

  • Rock interview backstage.
    -The Rock said that he and Austin have been playing a game of one-ups-man-ship. The Rock says tonight is no problem, but he wants Austin to remember the electricity of being in the People’s Ring.

  • Hos shown being taken away in an ambulance. The Dudley Boyz are looking on laughing. BuhBuh Ray says that’s what he’s going to do with the Big Red Retard.

  • Edge & Christian defeat the Super Heavyweights by disqualification, the Super Heavyweights retain the Tag Team titles.
    -The Hardys are shown backstage during the beginning of the match. Edge had a great powerbomb on Crash. Edge and Christian were in control when Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher ran in. The Hardys then ran in to save Edge and Christian.

  • Moolah and Mae Young are shown backstage.

  • Moolah interview; Ivory defeats Moohlah to regain the WWF Women’s Title.
    -Moolah announces that she is retiring and giving up her belt. Ivory comes in, and says she deserves her rematch. Ivory attacks Moolah, their match begins, and Ivory gets the quick cover for the victory and regains the Title.

  • Prince Albert shown backstage telling Big Show not to forget that he is not the Bossman.

  • Prince Albert defeats Big Show by countout.
    -Big Show was dominating the match when Bossman came out. He had a watch that belonged to Big Show’s dad. He said he had taken it from him in his hospital bed. Big Show tried to get it, but Bossman hit Big Show with a hammer. Bossman and Prince Albert then proceed to destroy the watch.

  • Chris Jericho interviewed by Michael Cole backstage.
    -He begins the interview by calling Michael Cole “Mitchell”. He says he feels horrible for Chyna. He says he will choose an audience member to be his tag team partner against Chyna and D’Lo Brown.

  • Big Show shown backstage being attended to. He gets up and starts yelling for the Bossman.

  • Chyna and D’Lo Brown defeat Y2J and Stevie Richards.
    -Jericho picks a fan, who is a man dressed as a woman, in the crowd. The match begins with Jericho fighting D’lo. Jericho takes the early advantage. D’lo tags in Chyna. The fan tags himself in. Chyna spears him, and then begins to take off the “woman’s” clothes. It turns out to be Stevie Richards. Chyna hits the Pedigree for the win. Jericho then begins to attack Jericho, and puts him in the Walls of Jericho.

  • Vince McMahon is shown backstage questioning Mankind about what he wrote in his book about Vince.

  • Mankind defeats HHH by disqualification, but HHH retains the WWF Championship.
    -Both the Rock and Stone Cold shown backstage watching the match. During the match, HHH hits Mankind in the shoulder with the steel steps. HHH then begins to attack Mankind’s shoulder. Mankind stops the attack with a double arm DDT. Mankind brings out Socko, but is thrown through the ropes and is hung between the ropes by his neck. The match then goes into the crowd. Mankind hits HHH with the Championship belt, but only gets a two count. He then places HHH in the Mandible Claw. Before he gets the countout, Val Venis attacks Mankind with a chair. Al Snow then enters to save Mankind. Mankind leaves dragging his shoulder.

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin shown pacing backstage.

  • Stone Cold interviewed by Michael Cole backstage.
    Austin says that the Rock does not send chills into him. He says the only reason he is in the WWF is to get the Title. He says he respects the Rock, and will be his partner, but if the Rock messes up he will slap the People’s eyebrow off his head.

  • Stephanie interview.
    -Test and Shane shown preparing for his steel cage match. Stephanie says that she is starting to get her memory back. She hopes that Test beats an apology out of the Bulldog.

  • X-Pac and Kane interviewed.
    -Kane tells X-Pac not to interfere in his match with Buh Buh Ray Dudley. X-Pac agrees. The Dudleys then attack both X-Pac and Kane.

  • Dudley interview; Kane defeats Buh Buh Ray by disqualification.
    -Buh Buh Ray says he has Kane’s voice box. Kane enters. Buh Buh Ray is scared by Kane’s fire. X-Pac is shown backstage. Kane dominates the early part of the match. Devon interferes, but is thrown out by Kane. Kane fights both of the Dudleys. The ref calls for the bell. The Dudleys begin to attack Kane. Torrie is backstage telling X-Pac that he should help Kane. The Dudleys continue to dismantle Kane. X-Pac finally runs in for the save.

  • Bulldog interviewed backstage by Kevin Kelly.
    -Bulldog says that Stephanie may be getting her memory back, but after tonight Test won’t remember anything.

  • Test defeats the British Bulldog in a Steel Cage Match by disqualification.
    -Test takes the early advantage. Bulldog is thrown into the cage a couple of times. Momentum is changed with an elbow. Bulldog beats on Test for a little while. Both men are knocked out by a double clothes-line. Test gets the advantage and climbs to the top of the cage. He then jumps from the top of the cage and hits an elbow. The Mean Street Posse then arrive with bolt cutters, and then enter the cage. They begin to attack Test, when Shane McMahon arrives and begins to climb to the top of the cage. Shane then hits Joey Abs and Pete Gas with a cross body block from the top of the cage. Shane tries to take on the Posse, but the Posse get the advantage. Test gets back to his feet and attacks Joey Abs. The Posse escapes and Stephanie arrives to see how Shane is doing.

  • HHH and NAO shown in the locker room. HHH tells them they had better save their energy.

  • Farooq and Bradshaw are shown entering a bar looking for someone. This obnoxious guy by the pool table claims to be the Rhode Island arm wrestling champion. He challenges Bradshaw to an arm wrestling competition. Bradshaw agrees and defeats him easily. His friend says it is Farooq’s fault because he didn’t count right. He calls Farooq a “darkie.” Farooq and Bradshaw then beat up half the people in the bar, take their beer and leave.

  • The Rock and Stone Cold shown backstage.

  • The New Age Outlaws defeat the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin via interference from X-Pac and HHH; DX reforms.
    -The Rock and Austin dominate most of the match and seem to have good teamwork. HHH comes down, and he and Austin begin to fight up the ramp, leaving the Rock to fight both Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. The Rock continues to maintain the advantage, nailing a DDT on Billy Gunn. Out of nowhere, X-Pac enters and nails the Rock with a kick to the head. The New Age Outlaws get the cover. HHH enters the ring and the four continue to attack the Rock and Austin. It is the reformation of Degeneration X.
