WWF RAW is WAR Report - April 3, 2000
Report by Nick Ponton
The show opens with NO CHANCE and out comes Shane McMahon. Shane says he wants to apologize to Vince. He says he's always admired and revered him in the past, but last night was truly Vince's greatest accomplishment. Shane says he is proud to be a McMahon after what Vince did. Fans chant ROCKY. Shane says no matter what, he will always love Vince very very much. Shane says because of love, he wants to continue what Vince started last night. Tonight, Shane O'Mac wants to go 1-on-1 with the Great One. He then calls out the Rock.
GAME hits and out comes HHH and Steph. Steph looks hurt. HHH gets a mixed reaction from the crowd. Steph says she'll never forget or forgive what the Rock did last night. After all, she's a women. She's 135 lbs. Yeah, she slapped the Rock, but he deserved it and she certainly did not deserve the Rock Bottom or the People's Elbow (probably the only person he could ever hurt with that move). Steph says her back, her neck and her chest are so sore. She feels like she's been in a skiing accident. She says any normal women wouldn't even be out here right now. Steph says she appreciates Shane's anger and feelings towards.....and HHH steals the mic. HHH says Stephanie's his wife and the Rock put his hands on her and he wants the Rock's ass tonight. HHH says it won't be a title shot though. He already proved to the world that the Rock can't beat him. HHH says this is a personal issue. He says Rock hurt his wife, now he will hur the Rock and he issues a challenge to the Rock.
NO CHANCE hits again. Vince makes his way to the ring. Vince and HHH stare each other down and then shake hands. Vince and Shane now have a little staredown and Shane extends his hand and.....Vince and Shane shake hands and hug. The McMahons are one evil functional unit again. Vince says it appears as though there's a problem Both HHH and Shane want the Rock, but Vince had a different match in mind tonight. Vince now challenges the Rock. Vince says we probably want an explanation to why Vince scrambled the Rock's brains. Vince says since he don't have to answer to any one and since we want an explanation, he's not inclined. Vince says Rock has a lot in common with a lot of people in the arena. The vast majority of them are vain, ego-centric, and narcisstic. Vince calls everyone in the arena phonies. He says a lot them have fake hair, fake teeth, fake boobs, they've undergone lyposuctin, face-lifts, tummy tucks, they're not real human beings. An ASSHOLE chant starts. Vince says something that gets bleeped out. Vince says that since these people aren't in the entertainment business, they want to be. They are bottom feeders waiting for an agent to come out of the commodes and make them stars. Vince says The Rock has as much of a chance of becoming WWF champ again as these people do of becoming a Hollywood star. Vince says it doesn't matter who fights the Rock tonight, that one will drive the Rock out of the entertainment business and put him in somthing he's more suited for, bussing tables.
A limo is shown arriving and The Rock steps out.

Then because of my terrible Spanish teacher, I don't know what he said. Eddie gets the first offense, but stares at Chyna and gives Jericho time to regroup. Stiff chops from Jericho then a monster flapjack. Jericho picks him up for the powerbomb, but Eddie goes all the way over. Eddie gets Jericho down to the mat then steps on his face.
