WWF Raw - January 10, 2000
Hosted by: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
Live from: St. Louis, Missouri

The entire World Wrestling Federation locker room, with the exception of DeGeneration X, made their way to the ring and stood around it in unison. The Rock then made his own separate entrance to the ring with his music and walked inside. The Rock did his normal "Finally, The Rock" opening and then explained that the rest of the WWF staff elected him as their spokesman; he called out Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmesly. Backstage, the rest of DeGeneration X refused to go as The Rock ordered them out again. Stephanie picked up the microphone, however the rest of the crowd called her a "slut". The Rock stopped her about a minute into the speech and told her to "know her role and shut her mouth". He said that first, Mick Foley was in St.Louis and that if she and Triple H do not meet their demands, all of the WWF's superstars will leave and join the WRF -- World Rock Federation. The first thing they demanded was a reinstatement of Mick Foley immediately; Triple H agreed. The second demand was that there would be no more "your fired" matches; Stephanie agreed. Thirdly, The Rock demanded that nobody be fired unless it is just and reasonable for them to do so; Triple H said that is also fair. As soon as he said that, Mick Foley's music rang from the loudspeakers and the Hardcore Legend himself appeared from the crowd as Mankind. Foley thanked The Rock for all of his help and condemned the whole McMahon-Helmesly era. Foley demanded the main event of the Royal Rumble be Triple H v. Mankind with a few stipulations that he can add as late as he wants; Triple H accepted, as The Rock demanded another match in the rumble. Mankind then demanded Outlaw v. Outlaw tonight or everyone would walk; Triple H agreed as Mankind also suggested X-Pac v. Triple H. The Rock then suggested another match having all of DeGeneration X face The Acolytes, The Rock, and Mankind.

Backstage during the commercial break, all of DeGeneration X was shown arguing in their dressing room. Jim Ross then told us that backstage there is a sign-up sheet where people can decide who they want to wrestle and when.

Jesse James v. Billy Gunn
Jesse James did both parts of the regular opening as Billy Gunn came out to his Assman music. Gunn and James brawled back and forth, however Gunn kept the momentum for most of the match. As Gunn went for a fame asser, James caught him and hit the pump handle slam for the pin. Gunn then slapped away a handshake as the WWF cut backstage.

In the backstage, Mideon, dressed up as Mankind, was hown being tied up and screamed at by Mankind. Terri was then shown signing up the Hardy Boyz against another team.

Hardy Boyz pinned Kurt Angle/Steve Blackman
Kurt Angle came out insulting the St. Louis Rams as the Hardy Boyz and Terri came out to a big pop. The Hardyz began the match with their high-flying maneuvers, however Blackman quickly turned things around by throwing Jeff face first into the steel steps with his power. Blackman then brought a kendo stick into the ring, however Jeff dropkicked him from behind and Matt hit a DDT for the pin.

In the backstage area, Mankind was shown continuing to torture Mideon as Edge was shown telling Christian that "he" was happy about it after signing something up on the sheet. Chris Jericho was then shown apologizing to Chyna and told her to sign both of them up.

Val Venis pinned Edge *European Championship*
Val Venis made his way to the ring and announced that he will be proud to have Edge as his brother-in-law (Edge is marrying Val Venis' sister) but did say that he is not as good of a wrestlers as he is. Both men shook hands as Venis took the early momentum of the match. After a bit of ground work by Venis, Edge hit a nice dropkick from the top, but missed a pin; Venis then dodged a spear and hit a fisherman's suplex for the pin. The two men then hugged as Edge picked up the microphone and told Venis that he would be the best man tonight, but not the best man at his sister's wedding. He then named Christian the best man as all three hugged each other.

Chris Jericho/Chyna v. Hardcore and Crash Holly
Chris Jericho gave a little speech to Chyna as he began the match with Hardcore Holly. After a bit of fighting, Jericho allowed Chyna to get pinned as he ran off with the belt.

Backstage, Mankind decided to give some "Chinese Water Torture" to Mideon, instead he dropped hot coffee drop by drop on his head; after a while, he just threw the whole cup in his face. Triple H and X-Pac were then shown standing off heatedly as the WWF cut to a commercial break.

Triple H pinned X-Pac
Triple H and X-Pac absolutely wailed away on each other both inside and outside the ring. After a bit of brawling, Triple H hit his knee lift, but got a pedigree reversed into a spinning heel kick. X-Pac then hit a low blow and a bronco buster, but Stephanie pulled his foot from the top rope. Triple H then got up and hit a pedigree for the pin.

Rikishi Phatu/Too Cool pinned Al Snow/Headbangers
Both teams exchanged a great number of tags and brawled throughout the match. Rikishi quickly hit his Samoan drop and inverted tombstone piledriver for the pin. Too Cool and Phatu then did their dance in the ring as JR said he would save his for the Royal Rumble.

Backstage, Mick Foley told Mideon that he might let him go because he liked his fashion sense. Mideon pleaded with Foley, however Foley said that he only said "might". Following the commercial break, Mankind untied Mideon and told him not to mistake kindness for weakness. He then told him to sit back, relax, and not to leave that room or he would regret it.

The Godfather/D'Lo Brown defeated Dudley Boyz (Count-Out)
The Godfather tried to do his usually "ho'lly opening, however the Dudley Boyz ran into the ring and attacked both men. The Dudleyz then delivered a flying head butt a few suplexes for a two count. D'Lo was able to hit the running powerbomb as both men made a tag; The Godfather added a ho train; however D-Von pulled Buh Buh out of the ring with some hos. They began to go backstage, however D'Lo and The Godfather saved the hos and allowed the Dudleyz to get counted out.

Backstage, Mankind sexually harassed Tori on purpose as he spoke about her breasts and slapped her ass. Foley told her to meet him in room three; the crowd cheered as Tori ran away in shock. After the break, Kane was shown entering room three in which the Mideon-Mankind is found. Kane, not knowing the difference, wailed away on him like there was no tomorrow.

Test/Paul Wight pinned Big Bossman/Prince Albert
Test and Wight demolished their opposition in under a minute as Test hit a leg and a big elbow for the pin. After the match, Albert shoved the Bossman. Wight then choke slammed both men for fun.

DeGeneration X pinned The Rock/Mankind/The Acolytes
Triple H and the Road Dogg entered the ring together as Billy Gunn and X-Pac entered a minute or so behind. Billy Gunn tried to talk some "sense" into The Rock before the match, but it did not work as the two began to brawl. The Rock hit a Rock bottom onto Gunn, however that count was interrupted by X-Pac; The Rock then tagged Bradshaw in as a tagged James tagged X-Pac. Farooq received a tag, but he simply tagged The Rock who quickly tagged Foley in to face Triple H. After being dominated by Foley for a minute, Triple H went for a tag, but DeGeneration X left the ring and Billy Gunn gave Triple H the finger. The Acolytes and The Rock then chased them back even further as Triple H and Mankind were left to go one-on-one. Foley pounded away on Triple H, but was unable to get the mandible claw on due to Stephanie's interference. Triple H then brought Foley outside and Pedigreed him on top of an announcing booth. Back in the ring, Triple H pedigreed him again for the pin as he stood alone in the ring with a bleeding Foley. He continued to attack Foley, but Mick answered back with a powerful clothesline and a hard punch to the outside. He then threw stairs directly onto Triple H's head and hit him with the top of the commentating booth. Foley then did the Cactus Jack "bang bang" and hit Triple H again with part of the commentating booth. Triple H was then clotheslined over the top rope as a very bloody and messy Mick Foley stood in the ring with a deranged and upset look upon his face.
