Hart said it didn't matter whether the Heavyweight Title was on the line, but it would be something if it was. He finished off the interview by saying he couldn't return unless he got one match with Hogan.

After a top rope bulldog, Lodi planted Karagias with a DDT for the win.

- Hulk Hogan said he couldn't believe all the red and yellow in Miami. Gene Okerlund brought up Hogan's Heavyweight Title match with Sting at the Fall Brawl PPV, as well the situation with Lex Luger, Randy Savage, and Gorgeous George. Hogan said he didn't know why Savage and George were in his locker room the previous Monday on Nitro. He also didn't know what Luger was up to, but did want Luger to stay out of his business, since it was just him and Sting involved. Hogan said he promised his son and everyone else that wouldn't stab Sting in the back. He said his match with Sting would be one of the toughest of his life. Okerlund then brought up the picture that Luger had of Hollywood Hogan standing by a white hummer. Hogan said the picture was not doctored up, but the one that crashed into Kevin Nash was not the one he was standing by. He finished the interview off when saying he would eat his vitamins, say his prayers, and kick some ass for his and Goldberg's steel cage match against Sid Vicious, Rick Steiner, and Diamond Dallas Page.

• Al Greene and Barry Horowitz went to a No-Contest.
- Barry Horowitz was saying he was the baddest wrestler alive. Sid said people weren't getting his point. He said Chris Benoit would have to suffer. He claimed he would have the best win-record in WCW that would be better than Hulk Hogan, Sting, and Goldberg's. The "winning streak record" for Sid was at 77-0.

• Backstage, Curt Hennig told Kendall and Barry Windham they needed to take it to Harlem Heat at the Fall Brawl PPV. Vincent walked in their locker room from a cloud of smoke, dressed like a cowboy. Security officials ran into the locker room to separate the two.

They then exchanged tombstone piledriver positions, with Benoit coming out on top by slamming Malenko down on his back. Benoit then executed the Diving Headbutt, but missed. Sid Vicious interfered and set up Benoit for the Powerbomb, but Malenko stopped it. Sid then powerbombed Malenko. Benoit took it to Sid, knocking him out of the ring. Sid walked away, taunting Benoit. When returning from a commercial break, it was announced that the match had no winner, which meant Benoit and Malenko weren't able to earn a Heavyweight Title shot for the following week.
