WCW Monday Nitro Report - June 7, 1999

• Outside of the arena, Randy Savage and his women arrived in their limousine. Savage had the driver open a white bucket, which was filled with slop. They entered in the arena in the search for Kevin Nash.
• Hak (w/Chastity) defeated Prince Iaukea via Pinfall.
- Hak came out, smoking a cigarette. The announcers (including Eric Bischoff) said it was against "corporate policy." After he wouldn't stop smoking, J.J. Dillon entered the ring. Dillon said WCW had cut a lot of slack for Hak, but he needed to put out the cigarette. Hak then blew smoke in Dillon's face. Hak said, "Make me." Eric Bischoff then entered the ring and told Hak to put the damn thing out. Hak then blew smoke in Bischoff's face and shoved him. Security then entered the ring. Bischoff told them it was no big deal, but when Hak slapped Bischoff, he was held back by security. Bischoff then decided to let Hak wrestle. As the match went on, Chastity blew Prince Iaukea away and filled the entire ring with fire extinguisher smoke. Hak then brought in a table, and attempted to put Iaukea through it with a cannonball, but the table didn't break. Hak then threw Iaukea into the table in the corner of the ring, and it still didn't break, but the pin was made anyway. Following the match, The First Family (Jimmy Hart, Hugh Morrus, Brian Knobs) beat on Hak. Kidman attempted to make the save, but was outnumbered. The First Family assaulted Hak and Kidman to the backstage area.
• Scotty Riggs defeated Lenny Lane with a Leg-Head Takedown.
- Before the match, Eric Bischoff took a shot at Vince McMahon (calling him V.M.) about being the Higher Power, the $100 million lawsuit, and going public. He also mentioned that Master P. and Dennis Rodmanare heading to WCW this summer. As things went on, Lodi made his way down to the ring to do some more scouting on Lenny Lane. At one point, Lane pulled Scotty Riggs' pants a little too far down. Riggs took the win with a new finishing maneuver, which as a leg-head takedown where Lane's face went face-first into the mat.
• Backstage, Ric Flair tried to explain to Chris Benoit he needed to believe in trust. Benoit said the only reason he was talking to Flair was because he had respect, but after the previous week, he no longer had respect. Flair said he didn't want to fight with Benoit, but wanted the both of them to fight other people. Flair said he would make it good for Benoit, as he mentioned him and Arn Anderson worked out disagreements in the past. Flair asked Benoit to let him be the man again, and Benoit said he would consider it. Saturn then walked in, and on behalf of him and Kanyon, wanted a rematch for the Tag Team Titles against Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow. Flair, instead, wanted he and Benoit to take on DDP and Bigelow. Saturn said no matter what, he wanted a rematch sooner or later. Flair encouraged Benoit to team up with him, with Benoit eventually agreeing.
• Randy Savage Interview, with Gorgeous George, Madusa, Miss Madness.
- Randy Savage brought his bucket of sewage to the ring. Savage said he checked the entire building, including every crest and cleavage, and concluded that Kevin Nash was not in the building. Savage said he knew that he had to wait to the Great American Bash PPV to take away the Heavyweight Title from Nash. Savage said if Nash had the guts, he would be at the Convacation Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Savage then challenged anyone. Sting made his way out near the entrance-way and challenged Savage to a match for later in the show. Savage accepted. Sting said Macho Madness was on viagra. Savage then said for Nash to watch what he would do to Sting.
• Kevin Nash Interview.
- The announcers noted that Randy Savage didn't look very hard for Kevin Nash, since he was actually in the arena. Nash placed a black gym bag on a chair in the ring. Nash hyped up the crowd by letting them know he was in the house. Nash said if Randy Savage wanted some of him, he would be waiting. Savage then made his way out, along with his women and bucket, taunting Nash. Nash ran off, saying, "How is it that I managed to bring one bag, when managed to bring three?" Nash said if Savage wanted some of him, he needed to put the bucket down. As Savage got on his knee and taunted Nash, a woman popped out of the gym bag, grabbed the white bucket, and poured the slop all over Savage. Eric Bischoff was laughing hysterically. As Nash insulted Savage in laughter, Savage ran straight after him to the backstage area. The ring was then cleaned up by different people.
• Chris Benoit and Saturn (substituting for Ric Flair) defeated Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow with Saturn's Death Valley Driver, to capture the Tag Team Titles.
- Chris Benoit and Ric Flair first teamed up, with Arn Anderson in their corner. As the match went on, Chris Benoit strapped Diamond Dallas Page in the Crippler Crossface, but DDP made it to the ropes. Ric Flair then put DDP through the Figure-Four Leglock, but eventually released it once Bam Bam Bigelow entered the ring. Both teams showed excellent teamwork. DDP and Bigelow then slowly worked on Benoit. Benoit finally went to tag in Flair, but Flair slowly moved his hand away. Arn Anderson asked Flair what he was doing, as Flair left the ring. Anderson then took his shirt off, and hit the ring to substitue for Flair. Saturn then made his way down to the ring to help Benoit, and was tagged in. Saturn cleaned house and put DDP through the Death Valley Driver for the win. Saturn and Benoit then took the gold. Kanyon then made his way down to the ring. It appeared he was celebrating with Saturn and Benoit, but ended up attacking them, siding-off with DDP and Bigelow. DDP and Bigelow then stole the titles. Eric Bischoff headed to the back.
• Falls Count Anywhere, Hardcore Match: La Parka and Silver King defeated Damian and Ciclope via Pinfall.
- Damian and Ciclope wheeled a basket of hardcore objects to the ring. Chairs, garbage cans, ladders, tables, and more objects were used in the match. Many high-flying maneuvers were executed. At one point, Silver King caught Ciclope with a Tornado DDT through a table on the outside of the ring. La Parka then powerbombed Damian through a table from the top rope, but Damian kicked out. After putting Damian through two chairs that were put together, La Parka made the pinfall.
• DJ Ran put on a cowboy hat and played a brief piece of country music, to criticize Curt Hennig.
• Backstage, Scott Norton asked the NWO Black and White where they were when Ernest Miller hit him with a tire iron the previous Monday on Nitro. All claimed they saw Norton dominating, while Norton complained, saying they left the arena after the match. They said they were waiting for him. The NWO Black and White told Norton to forget about it, because they were for-life.
• Ernest Miller (w/Sonny Onoo) defeated Horace via Pinfall.
- Ernest Miller bragged about his victory over Scott Norton the previous Monday on Nitro. Miller then had David Penzer acknowledge him as the greatest of all-time and the godfather of soul. Horace then made his way in to take on Miller. As The NWO Black and White watched from the backstage area, Miller nailed Horace with a tire iron for the win. The NWO then decided to go after Miller, but Miller made run for it. This time, the NWO tended to Horace. Horace didn't know where he was after being clocked with a tire iron, but neither did Stevie Ray.
• Roddy Piper Interview, Conducted by Gene Okerlund.
- Roddy Piper first discussed his match with Ric Flair at the Great American Bash PPV. He claimed he would make Flair bleed to death. He said he would turn Space Mountain into a fountain. Flair said he was tired of hearing the garbage that the youngers guys would complain about. Piper then called down Buff Bagwell. Bagwell said he had been wrestling for eight years and had never wrestled in Madison Square Garden, after questioned by Piper. Bagwell told Piper it wasn't 1975 anymore, saying he was buff and the stuff. Bagwell said Piper was looking at the stuff. Piper talked about Bagwell recovering from a neck injury, but then the fake one he pulled off on a PPV. Piper said after he defeated Flair at the PPV, he would give Bagwell the ball, but if he fumbled, he (Piper) would be down Bagwell's neck. Bagwell said he would run with the ball.
• Backstage, Gorgeous George, Madusa, and Miss Madness, from their limousine, flirted with Kevin Nash, who was leaving. Nash was skeptical, thinking Randy Savage was in the limousine. They asked him to open a bottle of champaign and then asked him to get into the limousine. Nash got in and the women slammed the door on him. Randy Savage then popped out, and drived the limousine through the arena a bit. After Savage exited the limousine, a hummer-like jeep purposedly crashed into the limousine several times. A dazed Nash then broke the window open, and attempted to open the door, but the handle was broken.
• Rey Mysterio, Jr. defeated Bobby Duncum, Jr. by Disqualification, to let Mysterio retain the Cruiserweight Title.
- Curt Hennig joined in for commentary. Konnan and Rey Mysterio, Jr. came out, wearing gas masks. Konnan joined DJ Ran, and was patched through the commentary. He and Hennig argued throughout the match. As it went on, Mysterio put Bobby Duncum, Jr. through the bronco buster. Mysterio went for his huracanrana, but was knocked down by Hennig, resulting in a Disqualificatoin. As Duncum and Hennig attacked Mysterio, Konnan ran them off.
• Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner Interview.
- Scott Steiner firsted told the crowd to shut up. Scott talked about his hoochies and the hook-up. Scott and Rick Steiner challenged Sting and a partner of his to a match at the Great American Bash PPV. Rick said he and his brother would take anyone out like a pack of wild dogs and taunted Sting.
• Buff Bagwell defeated Disco Inferno with the Blockbuster.
- Throughout the rest of the show, Tony Schiavone said Kevin Nash was receiving medical attention. It was unknown who drove the hummer into the limousine Nash was sitting in. Anyway, Disco Inferno, with his pink eye healed, said he heard what Buff Bagwell said earlier in the show. Disco said Bagwell already dropped the ball. He said Bagwell had the chance to tell Roddy Piper he stinks, but he decided not to. Disco said Bagwell got kicked out of The Wolfpac because he dropped the ball. Disco said if Bagwell wanted to be a man, then wrestle him (Disco). Bagwell then made his way out in blue jeansand said Disco was never in The Wolfpac, which caused Disco to nail Bagwell to get the match underway. After the Blockbuster, Bagwell made the pinfall for the win.
• Sting defeated Randy Savage (w/Gorgeous George, Madusa, Miss Madness) by Disqualification.
- As the match started, Gorgeous George jumped on the back of Sting, to let Randy Savage take an early advantage. The women continued to gang up on Sting throughout the match. During the match, the fans chanted, "We Want Puppies." As the women distracted the referee, Savage threw powder in Sting's eyes and continued to dominate. Miss Madness attempted to put Sting through a huracanrana, but Sting pushed her off. Savage then attacked the referee. Another referee made his way down to disqualify Savage, but he was thrown around too. Sting then started to dominate Savage. Savage put Madusa and Miss Madness in front of him when going for the Stinger Splash, but moved George out of the way. Rick and Scott Steiner then made his way down and attacked Sting. Lex Luger finally scared off everyone with a baseball bat.
