• Outside of the area, Team Madness of Randy Savage, Sid Vicious, and the women all arrived in their hummer.
• Curt Hennig and Barry Windham (w/Bobby Duncum, Jr.) defeated Brian Adams and Vincent via Pinfall.
- The three superstars representing Texas came out to their country-western entrance music, "Rap is Crap" and "I Hate Rap." Barry Windham was wearing a big knee brace as a result of his past knee injury. Windham and Curt Hennig used excellent teamwork to work slowly on Vincent. After Vincent came back on top, he tagged in Brian Adams. As the referee was distracted with Adams attacking Bobby Duncum, Jr. on the outside of the ring, Hennig entered and nailed Vincent with Duncum's cowbell, which let Windham make the pin.
• A pre-recorded nationwide press conference from Washington, DC with Master P. and the No Limit Soldiers was shown. Gene Okerlund, Konnan, Rey Mysterio, Jr., and Eric Bischoff were all in attendance at the conference. Master said he was glad ot be with WCW and said he and Swoll would have a lot of fun. He said the whole thing kicked off about a disagreement with rap music, but he had always been a wresting fan. Mysterio said he appreciated the message Master would bring out. Bischoff said No Limit Soldiers' perspective is a positive one.
• Randy Savage Interview, with Gorgeous George, Madusa, Miss Madness.
- Randy Savage questioned, "Have you figure it out now?" Savage said he was the best wrestler and the boss. He said it was Kevin Nash's problem that he reinstated the Big Elbow and Nash should of been pinned, but he kicked out. Savage pointed out both Madusa and Miss Madness' wrestling careers, while Gorgeous George would be "retiring." Savage gave a re-enactment with George of him supposedly pinning Nash in their Heavyweight Title match at the Great American Bash PPV. Savage then said he was going to be unbelieveably vicious. He claimed Nash was not in his league. Savage said he was the Heavyweight Champion and his career was on fire.
• Kidman defeated Hugh Morrus (w/Jimmy Hart) with the Shooting Star Press.
- Before the match, Tony Schiavone noted that Sting suffered lacerations on his arms and knees, but would be okay after an attack from actual dogs the previous night (stunt double) at the Great American Bash PPV. At one point during the match, Jimmy Hart got on the apron, but Kidman knocked him off. Hugh Morrus then picked up Kidman and slammed his ribs on the edge of the chair. Kidman came back, however, with a facebuster on the chair and the Shooting Star Press for the win.
• Ric Flair Interview, with Arn Anderson, Conducted by Gene Okerlund.
- Ric Flair took a look at himself in the big screen television. He said it was great to be the remaining President of WCW. He told the crowd to shut up while he was talking. He said he would take a kid's mother home and make a woman out of her. He already had his coat off at this point. Flair said for everyone who didn't think he was the man, watch what would happen later in the show. He said he would ask Roddy Piper if he would accept the Vice President position of WCW. Flair introduced a personal bagpipe band, as smiling Piper made his way out. Flair said if the crowd didn't shut up, Piper would take all their mothers home and make them scream. Piper said he would hold the VP position just like Washington, DC does, with DC standing for "Don't Confess." Piper said it would be a pleasure to serve with Flair. Piper asked if Flair was to ever die, would he become the President. Flair said, at his age, he could fall over at any moment and it would be Piper's position. Dean Malenko made his way down to the ring. Malenko said he told Flair two weeks ago where he stood in The Four Horsemen. He said he spoke for the younger guys, as he named off a few. He said it was there time and moment. He pointed out that John Elway and Wayne Gretzky retired and passed the torch, and it was time for Flair to do the same. Flair said Malenko was out of his mind and he wouldn't pass the torch. Malenko said he wasn't asking, but the younger guys were taking it. Flair said Malenko was standing in heavy traffic to talk the way he was. Malenko asked Anderson which side was he standing on. Anderson said you don't bumb rush greatness. Anderson said he would give Malenko advice, which was Malenko was either a Horsemen or a casulty of The Four Horsemen. Piper told Malenko to leave. Malenko said it wasn't Piper's business, as Piper hit him from behind. As the three-on-one attack continued, Buff Bagwell made his way down and cleaned house, but was eventually outnumbered. Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn were shown in the backstage area. Saturn got on the phone and was about to head to the ring with Benoit, but both were attacked by The Triad.
• Eric Bischoff joined in for commentary.
• Ernest Miller (w/Sonny Onoo) defeated Scott Norton with a Standing Side Kick.
- Ernest Miller had the red dancing shoes he used to kick out Horace the previous night at the Great American Bash PPV. He was scheduled to go one-on-one with Scott Norton at the show, but Norton had high-plessure, as he took a trip to the hospital after his face turned completely red. Miller insulted the crowd and wanted Norton out there immediately. Norton then raced down to the ring, surprising Miller from behind. Norton manhandled Miller around the ring a couple of times. As Sonny Onoo distracted the referee, Miller nailed Norton with a low-blow. Miller put on the red shoe. He executed a roundhouse kick that missed. At this point, Eric Bischoff pointed out that announcers only know two names of kicks used in wrestling. He brought up Jim Ross and mocked his announcing. Anyway, Norton set up Miller for the Jack-Knife Powerbomb, but Onoo nailed him from behind with a crowbar. Miller went for the pin, but Norton surprisingly kicked out. Miller then nailed Norton with a Standing Side Kick for the win.
• Van Hammer defeated Disco Inferno with a Back Suplex.
- Eric Bischoff said WCW would do a worldwide search for the most beautiful women for Nitro Girls positions. Bischoff encouraged people to get tickets in New Orleans, Louisiana for the Nitro at the Super Dome because Master P. would be there (Master claimed in meetings by just advertising his name, WCW would sell out the Super Dome and Georgia Dome in Atlanta). Tony Schiavone announced that an eight-man tag team match of Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Diamond Dallas Page, and Kanyon vs. Dean Malenko, Buff Bagwell, Chris Benoit, and Saturn would take place later in the show. In the match, Disco Inferno worked on the usual-dominant Van Hammer to gain the advantage, but Hammer returned fire with the Flashback. Bischoff mentioned Bret Hart and said he felt confident Hart would return. Disco later went for the Last Dance, but missed. He followed with a swinging neckbreaker, but a pin couldn't be counted since the referee was knocked out. As Disco argued with the referee, Hammer finished it off with a Back Suplex. Disco then gave the referee a Last Dance.
• Fit Finlay defeated Brian Knobs (w/Jimmy Hart) via Pinfall.
- During the match, Eric Bischoff hinted that the person behind the wheel in the hummer that crashed into the limousine Kevin Nash was in was still a woman and not Brian Knobs. In the match, Brian Knobs and Fit Finlay wrestled a match that was brutal and a pure brawl. As the match went on, Jimmy Hart entered the ring to nail Finlay with a chair, but Finlay shoved the chair into him. Hak then made his way down, and as the referee was knocked out, Knobs was nailed with a kendo stick. Finlay then scored the pinfall.
• In a ringside seat, Rene Mero (Sable), the woman suing the WWF for $100 million, was shown, next to two security officials. Eric Bischoff said he "didn't know" the reason as to why she was there. He said he is known to pick up a Playboy, but you never know who will show up on Nitro. Signs from fans in the crowd later appeared on television, which read, "Sable 1, Vince 0" and "Welcome Home, Sable" (planted).
• Kevin Nash Interview.
- Kevin Nash let Washington, DC know he was in the house. Nash said he didn't know what Randy Savage was smoking, but he came out to discuss matters on Sid Vicious. Nash challenged Sid to a Heavyweight Title match for later in the show. Sid appeared on the big screen television. He said he would take Nash's invitation and take what was his. Sid questioned Nash if he could take it all the way. Nash said he would see Sid later in the show and he would walk out with the gold.
• Dean Malenko, Buff Bagwell, Chris Benoit, and Saturn defeated Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Diamond Dallas Page, and Kanyon (w/Bam Bam Bigelow, Asya) with Bagwell's Blockbuster.
- As the match went on, Chris Benoit strapped Diamond Dallas Page in the Crippler Crossface, but the heels made the save. Roddy Piper and Buff Bagwell squared off. When returning from a commercial break, Chris Benoit and Ric Flair were in the ring. Benoit strapped Flair in a figure-four leglock. DDP, Kanyon, and Piper all tried to make the save, but all were put in figure-four leglocks simultaneously. As the referee was taking care of things on the other side of the ring, Bam Bam Bigelow entered and gave Benot a leg drop. Benoit continued to be dominated and worked on by the heels, while the faces could not make the save each time they attempted to. Benoit tagged in Saturn, but the referee didn't see it. Buff Bagwell was finally tagged in and he started to clean house. DDP was busted open. As everyone battled on the outside of the ring, Bagwell finished off Flair on the inside with the Blockbuster for the victory.
• Hak (w/Chasitty) and Rick Steiner went to a No-Contest in a non-title match.
- Rick Steiner wore boots, blue jeans, and a WCW crew sweater in the hardcore match. Steiner beat on Hak with chairs on the outside of the ring. Steiner continued with the advantage, taking Hak to the backstage area, where he (Hak) crashed into guardrails, ladders, and trays. Steiner and Hak brawled on top of an Explorer vehicle. Hak dismantled a Harley Davidson motorcylcle, taking a box off of it, and putting Steiner's head into it. Stiener threw Hak into a hood of a hummer. Hak crashed in the motorcyle. Steiner used the tailpipe of the motorcyle on Hak. Hak then threw a ladder on Steiner. They brawled to the back of the hummer. Hak went through the roof of the hummer (tented material). Sting then popped out of the hummer with a black baseball bat. He threw Steiner through the wall of a trailer park vehicle and then dragged him near the entrance-way of the Nitro set. After Sting stomped Steiner with the bat, he made his way to the ring. Sting gave out a couple of riddles about himself and said it was showtime. He went back and nailed Steiner once again and carried him to the backstage area.
• Curt Hennig and Rey Mysterio, Jr. (w/No Limit Soldiers) defeated La Parka and Psycohsis with a Facebuster and Huracanrana.
- Sable wasn't at ringside anymore. Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Konnan dominated. As the match continued, Mysterio hit his Bronco Buster on Psychosis. Meanwhile, Konnan nailed La Parka with a Face Buster, as Mysterio nailed Parka with a huracanrana for the win. Following the match, country-western music played. Barry Windham, Bobby Duncum, Jr., and Barry Windham took over DJ Ran's position and then ran off. Master P. and the No Limit Soldiers then took over the DJ position. They hyped up the crowd and played rap music.
• Kevin Nash and Sid Vicious went to a No-Contest, to let Nash retain the Heavyweight Title.
- Randy Savage, along with his women, came out instead of Sid Vicious. Savage wanted Kevin Nash to hand him them Heavyweight Title since everyone supposedly knew he won their match at the Great American Bash PPV. Nash told Savage to take the belt. Nash dropped the title and started to punch down Savage. Georgeous George was already in the ring to distract the referee, as Savage gave Nash a lowblow. Miss Madness accidently nailed Savage with a missle dropkick. Madusa was knocked out. Sid then made his way down to the ring. At first, Nash was dominating, but was outnumbered by Sid and Savage. Sting then ran in and took both Savage and Sid out of the ring.
