- Roddy Piper got a huge pop for mentioning the Houston Rockets and the meaning of Memorial Day. Piper discussed matters on Dean Malenko, saying how Malenko was tired of being in Ric Flair's shadow. Piper then called out Malenko, who made his way down to the ring to his original music. Piper called Malenko the greatest Cruiserweight Champion of all time and a great technical wrestler. Piper asked Malenko what the deal was with The Four Horsemen. Malenko wouldn't answer Piper. Malenko finally said he and Chris Benoit did not walk away from The Four Horsemen or Ric Flair, but Flair did himself. Flair then made his way down, along with Arn Anderson. Malenko told Flair it wasn't about money anymore, but about passing the torch. Malenko said to take WCW to the future, it was about the future, not the past, and he (Malenko) was the future. Flair first told Piper to back off. Flair said there was no Malenko, Benoit, or Four Horsemen. He said he wasn't going to pass the torch unless he saw someone who could take it. Malenko told Anderson he would put his heart and soul into The Four Horsemen, but the current Horsemen was not was what they were all about. Anderson said he was a man that came out of retirement and The Four Horsemen could have turned out anyway. Anderson said things could be patched up. - Randy Savage claimed Kevin Nash wasn't going to wait until the Great American Bash PPV to defend his Heavyweight Title. He said Nash was supposedly tired of being embarassed. Savage claimed Nash was making his way to the Astro Dome to defend his title against him (Savage). Savage said there wasn't one person in the Astro Dome who didn't believe Savage could beat Nash for the title. Miller nailed Norton with the crowbar, and made the pinfall. The NWO Black and White were upset and walked out with their bags.

• Randy Savage (w/Gorgeous George, Madusa, Miss Madness Mona) defeated ? with the Big Elbow, to capture the bogus Heavyweight Title.
- Randy Savage, declaring himself as the Heavyweight Champion, said he was in the house. Instead of Kevin Nash making his way down to the ring, a man with blonde hair, a red dress, Wolfpac T-shirt, make-up, a sign that read "Big Sexy," and a plastic Heavyweight Title belt made his way down to wrestle Savage. The crowd then chanted, "We want Nash." Madusa, Miss Madness Mona, and Gorgeous George separately entered the ring and attacked the blonde man, as Savage distracted the referee. In the match, Saturn was dominating at first, but then lost theadvantage as he was outnumbered by two men. DDP later went for the Diamond Cutter, but Saturn pushed him away, bumping into Bigelow, who was knocked to the floor. Saturn then put both DDP and Bigelow through the Death Valley Driver. A returning hospital patient, Kanyon, made his way down and was tagged in. DDP then nailed Kanyon with a strong right hand for the win.

• Backstage, Randy Savage and his women entered their limousine and were exiting the arena, celebrating. Savage was blocked out by two Louis Septic Services trucks. Kevin Nash got out of one of the trucks and put a gas-like mask one. He grabbed a hose, got on top of the limousine, and sprayed dirty water (looked like sewage) into the limosine's sun-roof window. As Savage and his women screamed and yelled out, they were soaked and dirty. Nash then got back in the truck and took off with the driver. Savage continued to yell out, "You son-of-a-bitch" (unedited). There was then a brief segment, with Nash doing the voice-overs, saying Nitro was brought to you by Louis Septic Services.

At one point, Sting went for the Stinger Splash, but Abbott purposely pulld Steiner out of the way. Steiner then pulled out athletic tape to use to tape Sting's hands to the ropes. The show went off the air when Abbott then walked out of the steel cage, locked the door, and left the ring.
