Arn Anderson helped Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko throughout the match by getting a few cheapshots on Scott and Steve Armstrong. • Backstage, Randy Savage and Gorgeous George arrived. Security official, Doug Dillenger, told Savage he was barred from the building by Ric Flair. He also said since he was the Commissioner of WCW, Savage and George could walk in.
• Diamond Dallas Page Interview, Conducted by Gene Okerlund.
- Diamond Dallas Page actually said he wished Hollywood Hogan all the best. The noise from the crowd totally over-powered what DDP tried ot say. DDP then discussed matters on Goldberg and said he would not put the Heavyweight Title on the line, to a course of boos. Goldberg then made his way out. At this point, Gene Okerlund left the ring. All it took was for Goldberg to get in DDP's face for DDP to accept the match.

• Backstage, Gene Okerlund interviewed Diamond Dallas Page. DDP said he never walked away from a challenge in his life. Gene Okerlund then questioned DDP on the Hollywood Hogan injury he caused at the Spring Stampede PPV with the figure-four leglock around the turnbuckle. DDP just ignored Okerlund and walked away as the PPV footage aired.
• Four-Way: Psychosis defeated Rey Mysterio, Jr. Blitzkrieg, and Juventud Guerrera with the Guillotine Legdrop, to capture the Cruiserweight Title.
- During the match, Alex Wright was shown sitting in the crowd. He had a totally different look: black, half-shaved hair, sunglasses, a cane, gold braces around his fingers, and clothes the color of black. The match between the four superstars went at a half-pace. High-flying maneuvers were executed together and each superstar, at different points, helped each other out. There were also many nearfalls. At one point, Blitzkrieg executed his Sky Twiser finisher, but Juventud Guerrera made the save. Juvi then put Blitzkrieg through the Juvi Driver, but Rey Mysterio, Jr. made the save. As Mysterio and Juvi battled on the outside of the ring, Psychosis executed his Guillotine Legdrop on Blitzkrieg to capture his first Cruiserweight Title.
• Ric Flair Interview, with Arn Anderson, Conducted by Gene Okerlund.
- Ric Flair was wearing a Florida T-shirt. He said he would buy every kid in the building a drink since he was the President of WCW. Roddy Piper then made his way out. Flair claimed Piper wanted to jump on his bandwagon after finishing up his work in Hollywood. Piper said Flair had become the Dennis Rodman of WCW. Piper was booed, Flair was cheered. Piper then went over all over the nonsense Flair had done in WCW since becoming the President. Piper said Flair needed to step down as President since he had lost it. Piper then brought up the point that Flair was crazy enough to throw expensive shoes into the crowd months ago at a Nitro event. Anderson said Flair could do anything since he was Ric Flair. Flair took his shoes off at that piont. Piper then talked about Flair taking his pants off and being in nothing but his boxers and socks, comparing him to Bill Clinton. Flair then proceeded to remove his T-shirt and pants, leaving him only in his boxers and socks. Flair said since he was President, he could do anything he wanted to do. Charles Robinson came out of no where and handed Flair his robe. Piper then pulled out the papers that David Flair had signed, which stated Flair would be removed from the office due to his behavior. Flair said the paper didn't exist. Flair said Piper was fired. Flair said he would give Florida the national title from Tennessee, to a huge pop. Piper pulled out another paper that Flair signed the previous Thursday on Thunder, which stated Flair would take on Kevin Nash later in the show. Anderson couldn't believe it. Flair then said he had no problem with taking the match. He continued to say Piper was fired, but announced he would fight Piper first at Slamboree, where if Piper won, he could take over WCW. Piper and Flair then brawled down the aisle.
• Backstage, Stevie Ray and the NWO Black and White told Konnan that Kevin Nash was looking for him. Konnan basically said he didn't care since he was no longer affiliated with The Wolfpac. The Black and White then started to beat down Konnan.

- Brian Knobs, formerly of The Nasty Boys, made his return to WCW. Chastity wheeled out a cart of goodies. Knobs nailed Hak with several objects and gave him the pit. As the two battled on the outside, the camera man was knocked over. There were ladders, tables, garbage cans, chairs, crates, kendo sticks, and more. Hak took the advantage, after Chastity came in and distracted Knobs by taking the kendo stick away. As the match continued, Bam Bam Bigelow came in, and clocked Hak with a kendo stick, causing Hak to fall down from the ropes, face-first onto a ladder. Knobs then took then win after slamming Hak with a garbage can.

Nash said what the problem was with the Black and White running around doing what the wanted to do, when ever he (Nash) never asked for Konnan. Scott Steiner walked into the picture and argued with Nash, saying he should be the one with the Heavyweight Title shot against Diamond Dallas Page at Slamboree. Steiner said if Nash didn't change it, there would be a problem. Nash then told the Black and White to watch themselves. Once Nash left, the Black and White had a discussion, and said they would surprise Nash later in the show.
• Buff Bagwell defeated Disco Inferno with the Blockbuster.
- Before the match, Buff Bagwell said since everyone was calling their shots, he would take on Scott Steiner at Slamboree for the United States Title. • Scott Steiner Interview.
- Scott Steiner came down to the ring with three beautiful women. Steiner first called out to everyone. Steiner then taunted Buff Bagwell. He said he never wanted Bagwell in the NWO. He said Bagwell's mom wanted a girl, but instead got a boy. Steiner also made reference to Bagwell being a former male dancer. Steiner then accepted Bagwell's United States Title challenge for Slamboree. There were huge steroid chants from the Gainesville, Florida crowd. They then chanted, "Let's Go Gators" as the show continued.
• Kidman and Raven (w/Saturn) went to a No-Contest.
- Raven dominated Kidman with a chair. The referee called the match once Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko entered. Saturn took out Benoit, while Rey Mysterio, Jr. ran in and took down Malenko. Saturn tried to check if Kidman was okay, but Mysterio was curious to see what Saturn was doing. Saturn then shoved Mysterio down. Kidman powerbombed Saturn. Raven gave Kidman an Evenflow DDT. At this point, Benoit and Malenko ran back in and a brawl in the ring continued between all three tag teams.
• Scott Steiner defeated Scott Norton, to retain the United States Title.
- Konnan was scheduled to receive the United States Title shot from Scott Steiner, but it didn't happen for some reason. Tony Schiavone speculated it had to do something with the NWO Black and White, since Norton was in the match. Schiavone also noted that Mike Tenay suffered whiplash over the weekend, but would be okay. The steroid chants broke out again. Steiner ended taking the win via Pinfall.
• Kevin Nash defeated Ric Flair (w/Arn Anderson) with the Jack-Knife Powerbomb.
- Charles Robinson officiated the match. Kevin Nash hyped up the crowd. Nash said, for Hollywood Hogan, he would break Diamond Dallas Page's back when the time was right. Nash said if Goldberg walked out with the Heavyweight Title later in the show in his match with DDP, he (Nash) would take on him (Goldberg) at the Slamboree PPV. The fans chanted "Goldberg." As Nash dominated his match with Flair, Arn Anderson got on the apron, only to be knocked out by Nash. Nash put Flair through the Jack-Knife Powerbomb, but Robinson walked out. Gorgeous George ran down, knocked out Robinson, put on the referee T-shirt, and made the pin. Randy Savage watched on from entrance-way. Following the match, a bunch of doctors dressed in white came to the ring to check on Flair. They carried Flair onto a stretcher, or what looked like a regular hospital bed. Roddy Piper then got into Flair's face and taunted him, questioning whether or not he was really fired, as Flair was wheeled out. The doctors then put Flair into an empty van, with absoultey no medical supplies or life support. Anderson questioned where the supplies where. Flair wanted out of the van, but Piper wouldn't let him.
• Diamond Dallas Page and Goldberg went to a No-Contest, to let DDP retain the Heavyweight Title.
- Dusty Rhodes did color commentary. The match was back and forth, until Diamond Dallas Page lured Goldberg into the turnbuckle with the spear. DDP then nailed Goldberg with the Diamond Cutter,` but Goldberg surprisingly kicked out. DDP pulled out a pair of brass knuckle, with Goldberg spearing both DDP and the referee. Goldberg then nailed DDP with the Jackhammer, but the referee was knocked out. DDP then clocked Goldberg with the brass knuckles. DDP placed Goldberg's leg on a staircase and slammed it with a chair. Referee Johnny Boone came out to take the chair away, but ended up flying face-first onto the guardrail. DDP was about to strap Goldberg in the figure-four leglock around the turnbuckle, which was the maneuver that injured Hollywood Hogan, but Kevin Nash made the save. DDP then whacked Nash with the Heavyweight Title belt as the show went off the air.
