The NWO without Scott Hall made their way to the ring

Brian Knobs defeated Bam Bam Bigelow
-Kanyon came to the ring with a microphone around his head and sat in at the announcers’ table. The match started out of the ring with Knobs landing several shots with trash cans. The two fought through the crowd. Kanyon urged Knobs on as he followed the two through the crowd. It was hard to see, but Kanyon said he gave Bigelow advice and then Knobs won.

Benoit and Sid arrived together in a Cadillac; the NWO berated JJDillon who claimed he was just the messenger, they attacked Dillon

The NWO looked at their monster truck, and then walked over to Sid’s car

Sid Vicious and Chris Benoit interview
-Sid entered first. He said that they had figured out the NWO. He said if they didn’t fire back, they would be in trouble. He said that at Souled Out he would defeat Bret Hart. Chris Benoit entered. He said that he would have a best of three match with Jeff Jarrett at Souled Out in three different types of matches.

The NWO spray-painted Sid’s car.

Buzzkill & Mike Rotunda with The Varsity Club defeated Konnan with The Filthy Animals & Dean Malenko with The Revolution to advance in the Lethal Lottery Tag Tournament
-Buzzkill came out to an introduction that was very familiar. Malenko and Rotunda exchanged several mat moves. There seemed to be no problem with Konnan and Malenko on the first tag, but quickly the Animals and Revolution went at it. Malenko had the Texas Cloverleaf on Buzzkill, but in the commotion, Jim Duggan entered and nailed Malenko with a 2x4. Buzzkill got the pin.

JJ and Bret Hart were around the production truck. It looked like they were about to pull the plug.

Scott Steiner and his brother arrive. Rick had to wheel him in on a wheelchair.

Bret Hart and JJ were destroying the catering area.

Tank Abbott defeated Shane
-Tank took Shane down and pounded him in the corner. Shane was knocked out and Tank got the quick victory.

-A tribute to Scott Steiner was shown. Rick helped Scott into the ring. Scott had a tear in his eye as he said that he had a “degenerated” disk and would have to retire. Scott broke down in the ring. The NWO entered. Bret Hart told Scott to take care and get out of the ring. Bret said he wasn’t very good anyway. Steiner slowly left the ring, while Nash and Jarrett threw the wheel chair out of the ring. Hart said he understood emotion, but there are more important things then a washed up wrestler. He said he still had his belt. Jarrett said he couldn’t speak; he was too choked up. Nash told one of the PA’s not to tell him to rap up. Jarrett hit him with a guitar. Nash said that the jabroni in the back who took their bats made a bad move. He said the Powers and NWO had things in control. He promised that Scott would be their tonight. Bret said Hitman 4, Goldberg 0. Sid’s car approached the ring. Sid and Benoit got out of the car with the NWO’s bats. They cleared the ring. Curt Hennig entered, but Sid threw him over the ropes and on to the car that was ringside.

Curt Hennig was taken out in an ambulance.

Lash Leroux & Midnight defeated Harlem Heat to advance in the Tag Tournament
-Harlem Heat had control when Lash was in the ring. Booker T took it easy when he was in the ring with Midnight. Stevie Ray became upset with Booker T and hit all three with a slapjack. Lash, however, was able to cover Booker and got the victory.

Chavo Guerrero was attacked by the masked person.

The Revolution were touring around DC. They asked a man a question about America.

Bret Hart defeated Jerry Flynn to retain the WCW Heavyweight Title
-Flynn took the early control with an arm drag. Hart hit several punches and a rake of the eyes with the ring rope. The match moved to the outside. Flynn whipped Hart against the guard rail. Jarrett and Nash came to ringside. Flynn hit several rapid fire kicks. Hart hit a DDT and a stomp to the midsection. Hart hit a Russian Leg Sweep. Flynn avoided a clothesline and nailed a kick to the midsection. Nash distracted the ref while Jarrett hit Flynn with his bat. Hart applied the Sharpshooter and got the victory. Flynn was then painted with the silver NWO. Tank Abbott made his way to the ring. He tried to get Flynn up. When he got Flynn up, he punched him.

The Revolution was shown in front of Library of Congress. They said that they would prove that America was not build on patriotism. Saturn babbled about reading again.

Nash was on the phone with Hall, Nash told him to hurry up and get there.

PG-13 defeated Rick Steiner with Leia Meow & Berlyn to advance in the Tag Tournament
-PG-13 wore Tennessee Titan uniforms and did a rap about how Bud Adams was smart to leave Texas. Steiner didn’t look thrilled to be with Berlyn. Berlyn had early control with several stomps. PG-13 got control with a double team. Rick Steiner entered and cleared the ring. Berlyn left the ringside area. Steiner got the pin, but as he continued to beat on PG-13 he was disqualified.

Backstage, Saturn told Duggan that they would be partners tonight. Saturn said they should stick together.

The Revolution was in front of the White House. Douglas was berating Clinton while Saturn went off with some guy.

Norman Smiley & Asya defeated Saturn & Jim Duggan to advance in the Tag Tournament
-Douglas joined the announcers’ table. Duggan pumped up the crowd with USA chants. Duggan attacked Saturn. Smiley took advantage, and hit a running slam. Smiley hit a back drop. Smiley started the Big Wiggle. Saturn hit a back body drop. Saturn hit a pump handle suplex. Saturn hit an elbow drop from the top rope, but Norman had a baseball uniform on. Asya was tagged in, but Saturn told her to tag back out. She refused and hit a low blow on Saturn. Asya hit a superplex from the top rope. Douglas yelled at Asya for hitting Saturn. While the ref was distracted, Duggan attacked Saturn. Smiley took advantage and got the pin. Smiley then hugged Asya but she shoved him down. Duggan then cleared the ring with his 2x4.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Billy Kidman to retain the U.S. Heavyweight Title
-Kidman had the early control. Kidman hit a running Bulldog. Jarrett argued with the ref. Nash and Hart made their way to ringside. Jarrett hit a suplex and followed with a drop kick. Jarrett hit a crossbody from the top rope, but Kidman rolled him over. Nash choked Kidman on the ring rope. Schiavone accidentally called Tenay Brain. Jarrett applied the sleeper. Kidman reversed and applied a sleeper, and followed it with a powerbomb. Kidman hit a crossbody from the top rope. Kidman got several near falls. The match went to the outside. The Filthy Animals made their way to ringside. Kidman reversed a powerbomb, but as he climbed to the top rope, Nash hit Kidman with a bat to the ankle and Jarrett was able to apply the Stroke and got the pin. The NWO then attacked the Animals.

Lex Luger and Elizabeth interview
-Mean Gene called out The Total Package. Luger entered dressed as Sting with Sting make-up. Luger said that the Total Package had kicked his ass. He said that the Package was the the greatest specimen in wrestling. He continued to do the Sting howl after every sentence. Luger said that when Liz hits with a baseball bat it is a combination of McGuire and Sosa. The lights went out. Gene was gone, and black roses were in the middle of the ring. Luger looked around looking for Sting.

Nash was on the phone with Hall again. He told Hall to hurry up.

The Harris Boys defeated Meng & Fit Finley to advance in the Tag Tournament
-Finley and Meng started fighting each other before the Harris twins even entered the ring. The Harris Boys tried to double team Meng. Meng and Finley were thrown out of the ring and fought each other until they were counted out, giving the Harris Boys the win. The lights went out, when they came back on the Harris Boys were lying in the ring.

David Flair and Daphne watched the movie Natural Born Killers backstage.

David Flair with Daphne & Crowbar defeated Vampiro & Evan Karagias to advance in the Tag Tournament
-3 Count started with a song. Vampiro entered and took out 3 Count. He and Karagias shoved each other, but they were tag partners. The Maestro with Symphony made their way to ringside but were attacked by Crowbar, David’s friend from the gas station. Crowbar hit Vampiro with his pipe and Flair got the pin. After the match, 3 Count tried to dance again, but Flair and Crowbar attacked them. David and Daphne made out in the ring. Lenny and Lodi entered with a very attractive lady in a business suit. They said they were Standards and Practices. They told Flair that his behavior would not be tolerated. David and Crowbar attacked them.

Jarrett asked Nash where Scott was, Nash said he would be there.

Buff Bagwell & Chris “Champagne” Kanyon with his entourage defeated Vito (with Tony Marinara and Johnny) & Disco Inferno to advance in the Tag Tournament
-Johnny and Tony tried to hit on Champagne’s women. Kanyon got upset and left ringside. Marinara gave Disco a chain, but Bagwell ducked and Disco hit Vito. Buff hit the Blockbuster and gained the victory. Marinara and his men attacked Bagwell. Marinara yelled at Disco.

Nash made his way to ringside by himself.

Kevin Nash (with Bret Hart and Jeff Jarrett) defeated The Wall & Sid Vicious
-Nash said that Scott had not arrived yet, but he said they should wait a few minutes. The Wall and Sid entered immediately. Nash complained of a gas bubble. Nash took early control with hithigh leg. All five men were in the ring and Nash was able to hit the Wall with a bat and got the pin. After the match, Benoit ran in and tried to help out Sid. Big Pappa Pump then walked to the ring with his cane. He picked up a bat and raised it to the NWO. He hit Sid with it however. He then ripped off his back brace and revealed a NWO shirt. They then through Sid into his car, and Bret ran it over with the Monster Truck. End of Show.
