Nitro began with tolling the bell for Bobby Duncum, Jr The nWo 2000 was shown entering the arena in four limos, with them was the infamous Scott Hall.
Pyschosis versus Kaz Hayashi *Cruiserweight tournament Match*
- A very physical and athletic contest between two talented wrestlers. Before the match started The Juice did his usual "Rock" promo and was booed. The crowd chanted "Rocky" Pychosis had all the more charisma from the fans to get the victory over Kaz Hayashi.
- Winner: Psychosis by pinfall
The Wall versus Kid Romeo
- The Wall used his terrible offensive skills to get a win over Romeo with the chokeslam.
- Winner: The Wall by pinfall
Norman Smiley versus Shannon Moore
- 3 Count came to the ring and did their usual promo, but unfourtunatley for there huge numbers of fans, they were interrupted and didn't get to sing their song Smiley came down and was attacked behind the referee's back by Evan and Shane Shannon took advantage and hit a few high risk manuevers.
Shannon was eventually subject to Smiley's Norman Conquest which got him the win.

Tank Abbot versus Al Greene
- Tank Abbot and Al Greene engaged in what we call all "jobber swinging" as the two men nailed each other with wild jabs and left and rights with no force
behind him Eventually, Abbot nailed his punch to beat the unstoppable Al Greene.
- Winner: Tank Abbot by knockout
The Cat Interview
- The Cat is back! He came out with his distinct entrance music and gave an Ahmed Johnson-like interview Cat then charmed us with his dance moves and
left, saying the crowd made him sick.
Sid Vicious versus The Harris Brothers
- Sid went into the ring and nailed Don with power moves Eventually, the match swung in Don's favor when he kept Sid in simple hold such as variations of the front facelock Sid eventually choke-slammed Don but Ron
rolled him out of the ring and switched...and then was powerbombed into oblivion.
- Winner: Sid by pinfall
Kidman versus Vampiro
- Two fabulous up and comers demonstrated their abilities on Nitro Kidman applied the sky high to no avail Vampiro nailed a DDT and got nothing as
well Vampiro went for a top rope powerbomb, but Kidman countered into a frankensteiner for the win.
- Winner: Kidman by pinfall
Backstage Arn Anderson was shown talking on the phone and he said to whoever he was talking to that he'd see him at Thunder Nash was shown in the back getting a massage Jarrett asked if he should help him, Nash said
no and that it was all going to plan.
The Total Package versus Booker T.
- In a top contenders match, Package used his brawling skills to defeat the highly skilled and entertaining Booker T Booker and Package battled in a
match which Booker made look good Eventually, Booker hit his harlem combo of the axe kick and the harlem side kick and had Package pinned, but Elizabeth distracted the referee Midnight ran up and chased Liz out of there Stevie Ray then distracted the ref as Big T nailed Booker with a slapjack Booker T then was racked by Package as TTP won the match After the match, Sting's origional music played A shadow of Sting was shown in the fog as he pointed with a bat to the ring and then dissappeared.

Vampiro Interview.
- Gene Okerlund said that many people are naming Vampiro a future superstar in the company and Vampiro said he was flattered just to be working with WCW
and that he wanted Kidman in a rematch on Thunder He said he respected Kidman and would enjoy the match.
The Mamalukes versus Hardcore Soliders *Tag Team Championship*
- The Mamalukes were very impressive in this match and the match was made even more impressive by the hilarious commentary made by Crowbar In the end, Big Vito hit his modifyed DDT to win the match and help his team retain the championship.
- Winners: The Mamalukes by pinfall
Commissioner Nash Interview
- The "Commish" himself made his way out and said a bunch of useless crap. The only important thing he said was that Sid was forbidden from using the
Vicious powerbomb in the match and if he did the title would be given to "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash.
Sid Vicious versus Commissioner Nash *Heavyweight Championship*
- Nash and Sid brawled all over the ring; the Commish nailed a few knees to the gut Eventually, Sid rammed the referee and "Double J" Jeff Jarrett ran down to make the heroic save Jarrett was booted and Sid nailed Nash with the guitar Sid pretended he had been hit with the guitar, and crawled over to Nash for the pin (Note: Sid is the seventh man in history to win both
the WWF and WCW World Titles.)
- Winner and New Champion: Sid by pinfall
