  • Highlights of Scott Steiner joining the NWO.

  • The new commissioner arrived in the Turner jet.

  • The Harris Boys defeated Buzzkill & Mike Rotunda with Kevin Sullivan and Leia Meow
    -Buzzkill came out with his Road Dogg cover. Leia Meow was on a trampoline outside the ring. Rotunda called the crowd losers. Kevin Sullivan joined the announce table. Rotunda took the early control. Buzzkill hit a flying elbow. Harris hit a side suplex. Standards and Practices made their way to ringside and tried to cover up Meow. Rotunda and Sullivan went after them and fought on the entrance ramp. While Rotunda was distracted, The Harris Boys took control and got the pin.

  • The NWO watched on as the new commissioner’s limo left the airport. They made fun of the new commissioner. Jeff asked where Bret was; Bret Hart was shown entering the arena, he was attacked by Sid.

  • The NWO surrounded Bret and asked if he was alright. They attacked the EMT’s that tried to help Bret.

  • Backstage, DDP told Mean Gene he was there tonight to fight Buff. Gene said that match was at the pay-per-view. Curt Hennig approached and told DDT that the Powers wanted him in the ring tonight.

  • Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner defeated PG-13
    -PG-13 mocked the crowd. DDP entered the ring. PG-13 double teamed DDP. DDP a double clothesline and then gave both men the Diamond Cutter. The Wolfpack music began and DDP left through the crowd. Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash entered with both members of PG-13 laid out. Nash dropped an elbow and got the easy pin.

  • NWO interview
    -Bret said that Sid was trying to play petty games. He said Sid had no respect. He said he would pound Sid’s skull in at Souled Out. Nash wondered why the WCW was appointing a commissioner. Big Poppa said he didn’t feel like being teary eyed two weeks in a row. He said the crowd may like him, but he doesn’t like them. He said his fans are on Wall Street. He called the fans white trash. He talked a little about Goldberg.

  • The limo arrived at the arena.

  • David Flair with Daphne & Crowbar defeated Lash Leroux & Midnight
    -Lash hit a sideslam on David. Stevie Ray joined the announce table. He said he didn’t like Midnight, and called Tenay the “minister of propaganda”. David and Crowbar double teamed Lash on the outside of the ring. Crowbar accidently hit David. Lash hit a flying plancha over the top rope. Stevie told Lash to tag in Midnight. Midnight had the control over Crowbar. Stevie Ray grabbed Midnight and pulled her out of the ring. Disco, Tony and the crew came to ringside. Booker T also came to ringside and Harlem Heat began to argue. Lash had the control until Johnny and Vito attacked him. David Flair got the pin.

  • Lash and Disco argued backstage, Disco tried to explain his situation. Johnny and Vito attacked again.

  • Total Package and Elizabeth interview
    -Luger entered with his Sting make-up on. He said that the Total Package had annilated him. He said he needed to redeem his reputation with an easy win. Tank Abbott mad his way out. Luger started to back away, and went down to his knees. Elizabeth sprayed Abbott with the mace, and she and Luger left the ring. Jerry Flynn ran in and attacked Abbott. Near the end of the ramp, a black crow was in front of Luger and Elizabeth.

  • The NWO surrounded the limo with their bats.

  • A front office executive came to the ring. He brought out the new commissioner, Terry Funk. Funk made his way to the ring surrounded by security. He said that he had accepted the job because he loved professional wrestling. He said he loved real wrestling. He said the NWO was a bunch of fat hogs. He said that he needed an enforcer. He brought out Arn Anderson. The crowd chanted “We want Flair”. AA said that it was real emotion. AA said Ferrarra and Russo didn’t know what giving their blood and guts was about. He said he was man enough to do what he wanted to do. He said they would have to drag He and Terry out dead in order to get them out of the business. The NWO came out. Bret said that some guys never know when to quit. He told Funk that he could go in style with them. He told Funk that he could go the easy way or the hard way, it was just a matter of time. Funk said he had all the time in the world. Funk said that he was putting a couple of stipulations on his match. If NWO causes a dq, Bret would lose the belt. He appointed AA as the guest ref. AA said if Bret gets in any way out of line, AA wouldn’t be the only one wearing stripes. He told JJ that he would wrestle Sid in a powerbomb match tonight. He then told Nash and Steiner, they would get screwed in the tag title competition tonight. Nash said they would do things their way. Nash said they would make the rules tonight and made a threat at David Flair.

  • Funk told his security to keep an eye out for David.

  • Chris Champagne Kanyon with his entourage & Buff Bagwell defeated Asya & Norman Smiley
    -Kanyon said that Greenville sure ain’t Hollywood. He told Buff that his movies sucked. He said he would give Buff his champagne for helping him advance last week. Buff said that Greenville was Hollywood, and he didn’t like Champagne, and hit Kanyon with the bottle. Norman Smiley came out as the Greenville hockey team’s mascot. Buff did his strut. Smiley then tried to do the strut as well. Buff took the early control. Norman hit his clothesline and did his wiggle. Buff hit the Blockbuster and got the pin. The Revolution entered and Saturn attacked Buff. Asya and Saturn then began to argue. Hacksaw made his way to the ring. Saturn attacked Duggan with his 2x4. The Filthy Animals ran in and saved Duggan.

  • Backstage, Funk and AA searched for David; The NWO also searched for David

  • Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner defeated the Harris Boys
    -Scott joined the announcers and asked them each about the new NWO. The Varsity Club came out and attacked one of the Harris Boys. Big Poppa Pump got the tag and got the pin.

  • AA asked Daphne where David was. She laughed and said he didn’t want to talk to them. As she left, she was caught by Jeff Jarrett.

  • David Flair & Crowbar defeated Buff Bagwell & Vampiro
    -Kanyon waited for Buff to attack him, however, Bam Bam Bigelow attacked Kanyon and threw him off the stage. David and Crowbar made their way to the ring without Daphne. Vampiro came out and joined Buff as his tag partner. Vampiro hit a sidekick from the top turnbuckle on Crowbar. AA and Terry Funk came out and talked to David. David started to freak out. Vampiro hit a superplex off the top turnbuckle. Vampiro hit a short powerbomb. Vampiro went out of the ring and began to argue with AA. Terry Funk attacked Vampiro and threw him back in the ring. Buff, frustrated with Vampiro, hit his blockbuster on Vampiro. David Flair crawled in the ring and got the pin. The NWO came out with Daphne and showed David that they had her.

  • Jeff Jarrett and Sid Vicious went to a No Contest in a Powerbomb match; Jeff Jarrett retained the US Title
    -The match went back and forth in the early part. The ref hurt his ankle. Sid was able to apply the powerbomb, but the ref didn’t see it. Bret Hart ran out and attacked Sid with the baseball bat. When the EMTs came out, Jeff Jarrett attacked them.

  • David and Crowbar searched for Daphne

  • David Flair & Crowbar defeated Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner to win the WCW Tag Titles
    -Flair and Crowbar ran into the ring but were no match for the Steiner and Nash. Nash attacked David in the ring while Steiner joined the announcers. There was no ref in the ring. Crowbar ran in, but Nash easily handled him as well. AA and Terry Funk came out. AA was the ref for the match. AA attacked Nash with David’s crowbar, and Flair got the pin. Jeff Jarrett and Bret Hart came out with Daphne. The NWO attacked the security, and Funk. David hit AA with his crowbar. Steiner and Nash attacked Funk in the ring, while Hart and Jarrett carried AA to the back. They attacked AA with their bat and threw him into the trunk of their car. END OF SHOW.
