Rey Mysterio Vs. Juvintude Guerrera Vs. Kidman (Crusierweight Title)
The match starts out with Kidman and Rey double teaming Juvi. Some more double teaming until Juvi reverses to force Kidman to hit Rey. Kidman and Mysterio start to exchange blows and Juvi tries to break in a punch every once in a while. Juvi on the ropes, Kidman goes up, Rey pulls him down, Kidman gets Rey on his shoulders and Juvi and Kidman set up a Doomsday Device but Juvi jumps and Rey goes forward for a Victory Roll and a 2 count. Juvi to the ropes locks a bulldog on Kidman, Mysterio is too close and a DOUBLE BULLDOG! Juvi in charge with knife edge chops on both opponants. Mysterio goes up Kidman sets up a power bomb on Rey who is handed off to Juvi. Very fast pace now. Juvi to the turnbuckle and Mysterio drops Juvi down. Rey into a powerbomb by Kidman but reversed into a Kidman Bomb by Rey! Mysterio and Kidman down on the outside now and Juvi with a springboard connecting on both men. Kidman has Mysterio on his shoulders, Juvi spring board off the ropes into a hurricarada on Rey. Two counts by both menon their respective pinfall attempts. Kidman goes for a tornado DDT and on the way around hits Rey with his feet and ddt's Juvi. Kidman to the rope and Juvi gets the feet up. Rey hits a springboard moonsault and a 2 count. Mysterio with a nice hurricarada on Juvi to the outside. Up to the apron and Kidman suplexes Rey in. Kidman hits a modified powerbomb on Juvi and Mysterio hits a nice bulldog on Kidman. Both Juvi and Kidman on the outside stunned and Rey sets up and executes a huge asai moonsault. Juvi in the ring and Rey hits s springboard hurricarada. Juvi reverse into a Juvidriver! Kidman leaps in the ring and makes the save. Nicely set up with Kidman perched upon the top rope about to bulldog Juvi buy Rey runs and is pushed off by Juvi up on to Kidman tohit a hurricarada. Mysterio hurricaradas Juvi to the outside. Both men are stunned and Kidman goes to the top and hits a Shooting Star Press on both opponants. Eddy Guerrero makes his way down to the mat and Kidman rolled up, Eddy hits the ring and turns it over. But then Mysterio kicks Juvi and Kidman turns over and gets the pin.
Eddy Guerrero comes to the ring and gets the mich and says that Juvi and Rey aren't LWO and kicks Juvintude out of LWO. Eddy then challanges Kidman to a Crusierweight match, Kidman accepts. Kidman wants the match now. Eddy accepts.
Eddy Guerrero Vs. Kidman (Crusierweight Title)
A ref gets down to the ring for this newly scheduled match. Eddy attacks right off the bat and works on Kidman. Eddy gets an abdominal stretch on Kidman and Juvi reaches and grabs Eddy's hand to put the pressure on. Mysterio pushes him off though then Eddy comes out of the ring and scares Rey away and pushes Juvi down. Back in the ring and Kidman in charge but Eddy gains the edge with a chop block then Eddy puts on a version of the death lock. Kidman gets out but a european uppercut by Eddy. Kidman with a bulldog to retaliate. Kidman with a surge of energy and consecutive punches on the top ropes, sleeper hold but reversed with a jaw breaker. Kidman runs to the corner hard wher Eddy awaits but Guerrero smashed Kidman with his shoe and knockes him out. Pin but only 2. Guerrero tosses his shoe at Rey Mysterio. Eddy drops Kidman and sets up for the Frogsplash but Kidman runs and superplexes him off. Guerrero hits a picture perfect flying headscissors on Kidman. But Guererro goes for a powerbomb and Kidman reverses into a Kidmanbomb. Guillotine legdrop by Billy Kidman. Eddy perched on the top rope, Kidman goes for a hurricarada but Eddy hold on the rope. Kidman gets back to the top rope to attmpt a Shooting Star Press. Juvi runs and knockes off Kidman. Eddy up to superplex Kidman but Mysterio knocks off Gurerro and Kidman hits the Shooting Star Press and the win.
Norman Smiley Vs. Prince Iaukea
Prince comes out on top with the upperhand early with fast paced manouvers. However Norman Smiley fights back with slaps. Norman smiley does his little slap dance and does a twirl-scoop slam onIaukea and a pin but only 2. Norman puts a long armbar on Prince and Iaukea comes back with a clothesline but Smiley back on top. Smiley puts on submission after inventive submission on the Prince. Once more Smiley does his little slap dance and Iaukea seems to take the upper hand all of a sudden. Snapmare takeover by Iaukea and a roleup. Smiley tries the chickenwing submission but no good, then Smiley gets the hold locked an Iaukea taps. Smiley wins.
Scott Hall Segment
Hall says that '98 hasn't been the greatest year for him and that he lost everything. Hall goes on to say that he doesn't have to proove himself to the people or Nash but he has to prove himself to Scott Hall and then says he guarantees that 1999 is his year.
The Cat Vs. Saturn
Earnest does his little schtick about turning his back and giving Saturn a chance to leave. Saturn winds up for the 5 seconds then on the count of 5 smashes The Cat. Miller starts to wlak away up the aisle but runs back in and Saturn attacks him only to receive 10 big blows to the head. The Cat slides back out and slows the match. The Cat back in and hits a back heel kick. Slow pace so far. Pin attempt and a two count. Miller tries a spin kick but Saturn catches and reverses into a suplex. A Taz-plex by Saturn now and a swinging neckbreaker. Perry Saturn leaps to the top rope and jumps off the rope only to be met by the foot of Ernest Miller. Taz tries yet another variation of the suplex and The Cat hits yet another superkick. The Cat calls in Sonny Ono as he holds Saturn. Saturn ducks out and Ono kicks Miller. Death Valley Driver, and that is all she wrote. Saturn wins.
Rick Flair Segment
Flair says he's going to get Bischoff piece by piece. Flair goes on to say how badly the Horsemen and Flair will beat on Bischoff.
Bryan Adams/Scott Norton Vs. Fit Finlay/Jerry Flynn
Fit and Adams start off. Adams crunches Finlay in the corner but Finlay reverses with a kick and a pinfall but only 2. Scott Norton in and powering Finlay down. Jerry Flynn tagged in. Norton beats on him good and tags out. Bryan Adams in now. Taking apart Jerry Flynn who tags out to Fit Finlay. Finlay with a few mat moves and Bryan Adams hits a nice piledriver. Scott Norton in and a ddt to start it off then wrenches the neck then turns it into a reverse neckbreaker. Norton hits the shoulderbreaker and goes for the pin but a kickout. Bryan Adams tagged in and they hit a double elbow on Finlay. Adams just destroys Fit with a powerslam. both men make tags and Jerry Flynn comes in and kick on Norton to take him out then a double clothesline on Adams and they knock Vincent off the canvas. But norton hits the powerbomb and gets the win.
Eric Bischoff Segment
Eric says that he is profoundly sorry for the pain he caused to Flair and to the wrestling fans. He also says he is profoundly saddened for Ric's choice to participate in the match against Bischoff. He said that no man would step in the ring with Bischoff after having a heart attack. Then goes on to say that the only reason Flair is fighting Eric is because he needs the money.
Chris Jericho Vs. Konnan (TV Title)
Jericho enters the ring with the TV title belt and give his little schpiele then Konnan come sout and gives his. Match begins. Konnan with a snap dropkick to a floored Jericho. Jericho runs to the top ropes and Konnan dares him to jump down. Jericho flies and is smashed in the chest. On the outside of the ring now and Konnan leaps off the mat but is run into safety rail. Verticle suplex and a cover as only Chris Jericho can cover (one foot on Konnan while posing) but a kick out. Sleeper by Jericho and now some knife edge chops as Jericho exposes the chest of Konnan. Jericho sent to the corner, tries to snap over Konnan but caught and snapped down. Jericho gets Konnan to the floor and hits a beautiful LionSasult. Konnan slips out and Jericho springboard off the turnbuckle to the outside and leaps into the steel steps. Konnan tries the face buster but its reversed and almost turned into a Liontamer rather Konnan is launched into the turnbuckle. Jericho grabs the belt and levels Konnan. Jericho turns around and is hit with a facebuster then the Tequillia Sunrise and the tap. Konnan is still the champ.
Eric Bisckoff Vs. Ric Flair
Flair charges the ring and Eric runs. Flair catches him and hits a few knife edge chops. Back in the ring and Flair. In the corner and Flair hammers bischoff. One big knifeedge and Bischoff is down and a big kneedrop. Flair gets Bischoff in a headlock and says "for my wife" and smashes Bischoff. Eric starts to c ray about his knee so Flair goes to work on the knee. Ric turns his back for one second and Bischoff kicks Flair to the back of the head. Bischoff goes to work but Flair catches him with a low blow, then another and works on the knee. Ric takes out the ref after some big knife edges. Sets up for a Shattered Dreams Kick and connects. Flair smashes the ref to take him out. Now calling for the figure four. Slaps on the Figure Gour. But the ref cant count because he is knocked out. Wait, Curt Hennig comes out and hands Bischoff a foreign object and smashes Flair and gets the pin.
The Giant Vs. Diamond Dallas Page
Giant waits sitting on the top ropes during Page's intro. Giant comes forward and spits his gum at Page then Page spits at Giant. they go at it and Page tries a Diamond cutter already but to no avail. On the outide now, giant with a huge short arm clothesline and a headbutt that sends Page over the steel rail. Page finds a garbage can though and mashed Giant. Giant back in the ring and goes to work on the knee. Page hung up in the turnbuckle and Giant slaps him. Giant puts on a bearhug on DDP. Page tries another Diamond Cutter but is pushed off. Giant sends him to the ropes and powerslam into a cover but Giant picks his head up off the canvas and counts again and again breaks the count. Giant goes to beat on DDP even more with another bearhug. Page fights back after dropping the arm twice. DDP goes for a rollup but Giant picks him up by the throat and turns it into a HUGE backbreaker. Page hits the Diamond Dream. Bret Hart runs down and goes to hit Page with a chair but hits Giant accidentally. DDP with a pin but only one. the to opposite turnbuckles he hits flying clotheslines. Then goes to the top rope but the Giant grabs him for the chokeslam, puts him on the top rope and goes for the SuperChokeslam but Page reverses into a Diamond Cutter and gets the victory.
Kevin Nash Vs. Bill Goldberg (WCW Championship Match)
Nash comes out to a huge ovation. Goldberg comes out to the usual huge ovation as well with his intro all the way from his lockeroom. While still backstage he gives a kid his autograph. Finally he enters the arena to an outstanding ovation. Nash raises his arms for the too sweet sign and gets a response but Goldberg raises his arms and gets a huge response. They finally lock up. A long grapple goe sinto the corner where Nash is back-first to the turnbuckle. Another lockup and Nash with a side headlock. Goldberg hits a HUGE side suplex and Nash rolls on out of the ring to recouperate. Back inside the ring and the pace is slowed dramatically. A chant of Nash Sucks goes up. Big Kev connects on back elbow smashes and Nash has the champ in the corner where he hits some knee smashes and elbow smashes. Kev with a boot choke but a takedown but Goldberg into a leglock then Nash into an armbar and reversed. A Break. and goldberg has the upper hand. goldberg with one big punch and Nash drops to his knees. Big Sexy with another boot choke. Rope to rope and a SPEAR! Goldberg signals for hte Jackhammer but Nash hits a low blow and Goldberg drops to his back. Goldberg into the corner, comes back out and Nash with a Sidewalkslam and a two count. Elbow drop and another two count by Nash. Bill Goldberg lies neck first across the rope and Nash rope to rope and leaps onto the back of the champ. Nash with a shortarm clothesline and yet another two-count. A suplex attempt on the part of Kevin Nash but a spinning neckbreaker as a reversal. Goldberg with a 2 count and a standing sidekick taking Nash down. Goldberg with another shoulderbreaker. disco Inferno comes down and is speared then BamBam is down and tossed out. Nash comes to the ring and shocks Goldberg with a taser. Nash locks on the Jacknife and THATS IT!! NEW CHAMP!! THE STREAK STOPS HERE!!
