WWF No Way Out Report - Feburary 27, 2000 From Hartford, Conn. Kurt Angle defeated Chris Jericho (w/Chyna) by Pinfall to become the new WWF Intercontinental Champion. Jericho controlled the match early on with an Asai Moonsault off the ringsteps. Angle then came back with a top rope superplex. Angle only got a 2 count after his Olympic Slam. Jericho applied the walls of Jericho, but Angle made it to the ropes. When Jericho went for the Moonsault off the middle rope, Angle put the IC Title up and it hit Jericho on his face, and Angle got the pin. The Dudley Boyz defeated The New Age Outlaws by Pinfall to become the new WWF Tag Team Champions. The Dudleys controlled the opening, and D-Von gave the Road Dogg the Headbutt off the top rope into the groin area. Gunn got the tag, but only got a 2 count on D-Von after the Fameasser. Buh Buh then hit Gunn in the arm with a lead pipe, which allowed the Dudleys to capitalize and hit the 3D on the Road Dogg for the win. Mark Henry defeated Viscera by Pinfall. The WWF had some technical difficulties during the match. Mae Young came down early, and Viscera tried to hit her, but Henry made the save. Henry got the win after a Powerslam. Backstage, EMT's were attending to Billy Gunn's shoulder. Edge and Christian defeated The Hardy Boyz (w/Terri) by Pinfall. During an angle shot on Heat, Terri asked for the Acolytes protection during the match. Excellent high-flying match with lots of planchas to the outside being executed. At one point, Edge did a drop toe hold to Christian, who headbutted Jeff's groin. The Hardyz did their legdrop/splash combo from the top rope, but Edge broke up the pinfall attempt. Jeff went to the top rope, but was pushed off by Terri. Terri then slapped Matt, and Christian capitalized with the tomikaze for the win. Terri left with Edge and Christian. The Acolytes then destoryed the Hardyz in the ring. Tazz defeated The Big Bossman by DQ. Tazz applied the Tazzmission straight away, but Prince Albert ran in and the two attacked Tazz. Tazz kept coming back up, and The Bossman broke his nightstick over tazz's head, but Tazz got back up again. X-Pac (w/Tori) defeated Kane (w/Paul Bearer) by Pinfall. Back and forth match. At one point, X-Pac hit kane with the ring bell. X-Pac then dropkicked Kane off the top rope. X-Pac hit the bronco Buster, but Kane got straight up and nailed X-Pac with a clothesline. X-Pac then hit the x-Factor, but Paul Bearer distracted X-Pac. Kane then hit the Clothesline off the top rope. Kane then Chokeslammed X-Pac, and the Tori came in but received a Tombstone. X-Pac then dropkicked the steel steps into Kane's face, and hit lay on top of Kane with the steps to get the pin. Too Cool and Rikishi defeated The Radicals by Pinfall. The Radicals dominated the beginning of the match until Rkishi cleaned house. He hit a Sit-Down Pildriver on Saturn, and Scottie Too Hotty hit the Worm on Saturn. Rikishi hit a Belly-to-Belly on Benoit. Grandmaster Sexay hit the Legdrop off the to rope on Saturn, but Benoit broke it up. Rikishi then hit the Sit-Down Piledriver on malenko, follwed by the Sit-Down Splash off the second rope for the win. Afterwards, the trio did their dance routine for the crowd. The Big Show defeated The Rock by Pinfall to gain a shot at the Heavyweight title at WrestleMania. Early on, The Rock went for the Rock Bottom, but it was broken up by the Big Show. The Big show with a Sidewalk Slam. After Show thre the Rock into the referee, he hit the chokeslam, but there was no referee to count. Another referee came in, but he was broken up by Hebner. Shane McMahon then returned as the Rock hit the Rock Bottom. The Rock then went for the People's Elbow, but just as he was about to hit it, Shane nailed the Rock with a Chair, and the Big Show got the pin. Backstage, Angle was about to leave, but he was attacked by Chyna and Chris Jericho, and he was locked into the trunk of a car. Triple H (w/Stephanie) defeated Cactus Jack by Pinfall to retain the WWF Heavyweight Title, in a Hell in a Cell match. Triple H started with the advantage after ramming CJ into the cage several times and then throwing the steps into him. Triple H then put the steps on CJ and nailed the steps with a chair repeatedly. CJ came back and got a 2 count when he did a side Russian legsweep to Triple Hon a chair. CJ did a monkey flip on Triple H into the cage. Triple H was busted open. CJ climbed to the second turnbuckle and did a chair elbow drop on Triple H. The cell was partially busted open, and so way CJ now. They escaped the cell, and CJ piledrove Triple H on the announcers' table. CJ went to climb the cage but Steph grabbed his leg and stopped him. CJ then got a 2x 4 wrapped in barbed wire. CJ hit Triple H in the face with the wire. Both then climed up ontop of the cage. Triple H then grated CJ with the wire. The corner of the cage broke slightly. CJ did a suplex and Triple H's back hit the support. CJ hit a double arm DDT. He went for the wire board set it on fire. CJ hit Triple H with it. CJ went for a Piledriver on the board but HHH backdropped him. Foley busted through the cage and fell into the ring. The ring broke as well. Triple H climbed down into the ring. CJ then moved and began to get up. Triple H then hit the Pedigree for the pin. EMT's came out. Mick would not get on the gurney, and refused their help. The crowd chanted him name. Foley walked slowly to the back, to an amazing reaction from the crowd. He saluted them as the show went off the air. Sadly, Foley must retire.
