• Chyna Interview, Conducted by Jim Ross.
- Jim Ross said he never thought he would be standing next to a woman who was the number one contender for the Heavyweight Title. Ross congratulated her. Chyna told Ross to take his congratulations and stick it up where the sun don't shine. Chyna said Ross never thought a woman would get a title shot was because he was a pig. She told Ross to look in the mirror and see he was the one who was the handicap. She said she only needed the opportunity, which Shawn Michaels gave her. She said she didn't care whether or not Triple H was happy, because it was business. Ross brought up that Chyna's title match at Summerslam would be against Stone Cold Steve Austin, which wouldn't be easy. Chyna said she took on Triple H and The Undertaker the previous Monday on Raw is War, and would have no problem with Austin. She said Austin was no different from the rest of them. Chyna said, directed for Austin, she would take "them off" and step on them if she had to.
• Backstage, Gangrel and The Hardy Boyz made their ways to the ring.
• Backstage, Al Snow took his dog Pepper to the outside of the arena to urinate on a pole. The dog wouldn't. Snow said he had to go too, so he did so on the pole.
• Edge and Christian vs. Papi Chulo and Sho Funaki resulted in a No-Contest.
- Edge and Christian immediately went near the entrance-way to battle it out with Papi Chulo and Sho Funaki. Gangrel and The Hardy Boyz made a surprise appearance from the hole of which Gangrel makes his usual entrance. They attacked Edge and Christian down to the ring. Gangrel and The Hardy's executed all their famous maneuvers, including a combination of the Implant DDT and simultaneous Guillotine Leg Drop and Frog Splash.
• Backstage, Terry Taylor interviewed The Blue Meanie. Taylor said it was true Meanie was being treated unfair in the locker room and like a joke. Meanie said he was the person who always had jokes played on him, but later in the show, Al Snow would be a joke. He said, "Take a look at the blue guy."
• Backstage, Terry Taylor asked The Hardy Boyz, "Is this how you pay MIchael Hayes for bringing you to the top?" Jeff said it was about being stronger. Matt said they were hungry and had a thirst that couldn't be quenched. Gangrel then said he and The Hardy Boyz were the new Brood.
• Al Snow defeated The Blue Meanie by making him submit to the Texas Cloverleaf.
- Al Snow left Pepper with Michael Cole. At one point in the match, The Blue Meanie flipped over the barracade. Snow dominated The Blue Meanie and put him in the Texas Cloverleaf for the win. Snow let go of the maneuver at first, but then put Meanie right back in it. Stevie Richards then entered the ring and took out Snow with a stiff kick. Meanie then splashed into Snow in the corner. Kevin Kelly acknowledged Richards was Meanie's best friend from their days in ECW. After Snow was thrown out of the ring, Richards and Meanie shook hands and hugged.
• Backstage, The Big Show made his way to the ring, as did Kane.
• Backstage, Terry Taylor interviewed The Blue Meanie, along with Stevie Richards. Meanie said Al Snow first turned on him, but then he went back to his roots to find Big Stevie Cool. Richards said they were in the WWF for reason, but before he could say why, Meanie invited him to play WWF Attitude in his locker room.
• Kane defeated The Big Show by Disqualification.
- The crowd chanted, "Big Show sucks." As Kane dominated in the match, Hardcore Holly ran-in and attacked Kane. The Big Show joined in, but soon got after Holly, as Holly was chokeslammed down to the canvas. Kane then clotheslined Big Show out of the ring.
• Backstage, a rested Meat, along with Terri Runnels, made his way down to the ring. Jeff Jarrett was also shown making his way down, along with Debra. Both argued on their way, since Jarrett continued to order Debra around and blame her for his problems.
• Backstage, Terry Taylor asked Hardcore Holly if he was okay after the chokeslam he just took. Holly said he was good and questioned if that was the best The Big Show could do. He said for months he had been The Big Show's friend. He claimed Big Show had been kissing his ass, though, just so he (Holly) wouldn't kick Big Show's ass. Holly said he would have to do what he would have to do, which we would find out the following night on Raw is War.
• Meat (w/Terri Runnels) defeated Jeff Jarrett (w/Meat) with the Meat Grinder.
- Meat mainly dominated Jeff Jarrett. She was about to get on the apron, only to be stopped by an argument with Terri Runnels. As Jarrett was distracted by the argument, Meat surprised him with the Meat Grinder for the win. Jarrett scolded Debra after the match, to the point where Debra was backing off by sitting in the corner. D-Lo Brown then ran-in and scared off Jarrett.
• Backstage, Shane McMahon made his way toward the ring.
• Backstage, Terry Taylor asked Debra if everything was okay between her and Jeff Jarrett. Debra said she was fed up with Jarrett and she would soon make a decision. Jarrett then came up to Debra and said she did have a decision. Jarrett told Debra to leave immediately and not to ever do an interview again. Debra didn't want to leave, but Jarrett made her.
• Shane McMahon Interview.
- The crowd chanted, "Asshole." Shane McMahon said the situation with Test had become an extremely personal, which all centered around Stephanie. He said he didn't blame Stephanie, because she was too young to know what she wanted when it came to relationships. Shane said he knew what Stephanie wanted and deserved in a relationship, which wasn't Test. Shane said Stephanie deserved a man like him. Shane said before he took Test out in a parking lot or before Test attacked him from behind like he did to other members of The Mean Street Posse, he wanted to challenge Test to a Lover or Leave Her match for the Summerslam PPV, where if Test won, Shane would stay out of his and Stephanie's lives forever, but if he won, Test would have to sever all communication and never see Stephanie again. Shane questioned Test whether or not he had the grapefruits to accept the match. Test made his way out. Test said there was nothing more that he would like than come down to the ring and squeeze Shane's neck until his head popped off. Test said he wanted Shane to think how much he (Test) would hurt him. Test accepted Shane's challenge. He said Shane couldn't beat half his ass, if the other half was helping him. He said Summerslam would be Shane's final match.
• Backstage, X-Pac made his way toward the ring, as he drank an Energy drink. The Undertaker was also shown making his way down.
• The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) defeated X-Pac with the Tombstone.
- The Acolytes made their ways out to do color commentary. X-Pac also drank an Energy drink on his way toward the ring. The Undertaker dominated X-Pac. After X-Pac jumped off the top rope, The Undertaker caught him with the Tombstone for the win. The Big Show made his way down afterward, as The Acolytes insulted him. X-Pac received a chokeslam, courtesy of Big Show. Kane made his way in with a chair to scare off Big Show and The Undertaker. The Acolytes then ran in and attacked Kane from behind.
