Simon Diamond w/ Dick Hertz versus Jazz ( not AC ) versus Spike Dudley
Jazz comes down to ringside and says she’s tired of Simon’s non-sense. She performs an X-Factor onto Simon and goes for the pin but Dick takes her up and puts her into his penile implant slam. Spike Dudley then comes down and quickly gives Dick an Acid Drop. Simon is busted open early and caught in the crotch with a headbutt. Simon gets an Acid Drop for himself and Spike gets the pinfall victory.
Guido w/ Big Sal versus Super Nova
FBI members rush the ring soon after Simon/Dudley to attack Spike. Super Nova comes to the aid of Spike, and he and Guido begin their own match. Both men execute some awesome maneuvers including a spectacular top rope Samoan slam by Nova. However, Guido comes out on top with the Kamikaze and an easy pinfall.
Tajiri versus Super Crazy versus Jerry Lynn in a 3 Way Dance
Tajiri begins the match by kicking Crazy and Lynn. Lynn and Crazy are isolated with one another and exchange some quick offense to the adulation of the crowd. Tajiri isolates Lynn and is able to hook him up in the Tarantula. Soon after Crazy is a recipient of his own Tarantula submission by Tajiri. Outside the ring Crazy gets up on top of the entrance way and Moonsaults about 10 ft onto Lynn and Tajiri. Pinfall attempts are exchanged by each of the combatants but Crazy is first to be eliminated via a Brainbuster by Tajiri. Lynn and Tajiri go back and forth reversing one another’s moves but Lynn is able to slap on his Cradle Piledriver for the victory.
The Baldies versus Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten
Rotten begins the match quickly with a few chair shots onto the members of The Baldies, while Balls lands a few punches on Skull. New Jack comes to the ring to the surprise of The Baldies and focuses his attention on Angel of The Baldies. New Jack clubs Angel, literally, with a golf club and then takes a vacuum cleaner to his crotch. The carnage continues outside of the ring with Rotten and New Jack slamming chairs into a weary Angel. Inside the ring Balls is being demolished by the other Baldies. New Jack puts a ladder up against a Basketball goal inside the arena and begins to make his way to the top of the goal. An estimated 15 feet from the floor, New Jack hurls himself onto Angel who is on a table on the floor. New Jack makes it back inside the ring but is met with a guitar shot to the head allowing the Baldies to get the pinfall victory.
Chris Candido w/ Tammy Lynn Sytch versus Sabu w/ Bill Alfonso
Early on, the match is taken outside the ring. Candido serves up some lethal chops to the chest of Sabu. Back inside the ring Sabu back drops Candido over the top rope onto the floor. Sabu dives into Candido to the outside. Control of the match goes back to Candido who executes a lengthy suplex onto Sabu. A table is setup between the guardrail and ring. Sabu escapes the attempted table splash and Candido is slapped with a Camel Clutch in the middle ring. Alfonso throws the table into the ring and Candido is thrusted directly into it almost piercing himself with some of the broken pieces. Candido is put over the guardrail and Sabu springboards from a chair, onto the top rope, and finally soars through the air into Candido who is amongst the audience. Another table is put inside the ring and Candido is once again placed onto it and met with a leg drop from the top rope. Sabu finishes Candido off with an Arabian Facebuster and then the Camel Clutch submission.
Masato Tanaka versus Mike Awesome w/ Judge Jeff Jones for the ECW World Championship.
Awesome begins the match with a splash from across the ring into Tanaka. Tanaka responds with a high cross body from the top rope onto Awesome who is on the outside the ring. Awesome not be outdone, leaps and soars over the top rope into Tanaka on the outside. Tanaka is put over the guardrail and back inside the ring Awesome spring boards from the top center ring rope into the audience onto Tanaka. After a few exchanged chair shots, Judge Jeff Jones sets up a table on the outside. Awesome position Tanaka into a sit down Awesome bomb from the apron into the table. Another table is placed inside the ring and Tanaka places Awesome into a Superplex from the top rope into the table. After two missed Roaring Elbows by Tanaka, Awesome is able to execute a sit down Awesome Bomb from the top rope to get the impressive pinfall victory.
Taz versus Rob Van Dam /w Bill Alphonso for the ECW Television Title.
Van Dam spent a few minutes with the crowd before entering the ring. The match is very slow with both men taunting one another and the fans. The action picked up on the outside the ring in the entranceway. Taz was put over the guardrail and RVD soars guardrail to guardrail onto an unsuspecting Taz. Back inside the ring, Taz clips RVD’s legs and takes control of the match. Taz sets up a table in the corner of the ring. Taz evades a kick by RVD and locks him into a Tazplex into the table. Alphonso pre occupies Taz while RVD climbs the top rope and hits Taz with the Vandaminator. A bloodied and weakened Taz is then the recipient of a five star Frogsplash from the top rope to retain the TV Title.
