Pearlized Easter Eggs

I'm not even sure where I found this
project. But a fun one to do
with children!
 |
The
following is a list of
materials you will need for
this project:
-
Eggs
-
Tiny nail bowl
-
Pearlized acrylic
paints in yellow,
pink, white, blue,
green, lavender
-
Disposable foam
plate
-
Sponge and water
-
Glass bowl (for
display)
-
White sand Pearls
and shells
|
 |
-
Pierce tiny
holes on opposite
ends of an egg. Poke
a hole in egg yolk.
Blow inside of egg
into a bowl.
-
Choose
color combinations
for your eggs. These
pearlized colors
were used in
combinations of
three colors.
-
Place the
three colors of
paint on a foam
plate in small,
quarter-size
amounts. Soak a
sponge in water and
squeeze out excess.
Begin sponging on
one color on one
end. Rinse and apply
other colors.
|
 |
|
 |
- Display eggs
in a glass bowl with
sand, shells, and
pearls.
