Pearlized Easter Eggs

I'm not even sure where I found this project.  But a fun one to do with children!

 

	The following is a list of materials you will need for this project:  Eggs Tiny nail bowl Pearlized acrylic paints in yellow, pink, white, blue, green, lavender Disposable foam plate Sponge and water Glass bowl (for display) White sand Pearls and shells
	Pierce tiny holes on opposite ends of an egg. Poke a hole in egg yolk. Blow inside of egg into a bowl. Choose color combinations for your eggs. These pearlized colors were used in combinations of three colors. Place the three colors of paint on a foam plate in small, quarter-size amounts. Soak a sponge in water and squeeze out excess. Begin sponging on one color on one end. Rinse and apply other colors.
	Add and sponge in white where you want colors to lighten. Sponge and blend colors for the look you want.
	Display eggs in a glass bowl with sand, shells, and pearls.
