The dinosaur's presence was first
revealed during World War II on the island of Lagos in 1944. During an
attack from superior American forces, it was routed by the enraged dinosaur
Using heavy guns, they mortally wounded the dinosaur and left him to die.
It survived, however,and later nuclear testing mutated him into the original
Godzilla.In Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991), people from the future removed
him from Lagos and transported him to the Bering Sea to prevent Godzilla's
"birth".Nonetheless, an accident with a nuclear submaine mutated him into the larger and meaner
Godzilla of the new series.
