GEORGIA, WHITFIELD COUNTY
Know all Men by these presents, That we W.P. Starks, W.C. Clayton
and D.J. Jamison, securities , are held and firmly bound to the Ordinary
for said County, and his successors in office and assigns, in the just and
full sum of ($ 9,400.00) Nine Thousand Four Hundred Dollars for the payment
of which sum to the said Ordinary, and his sucessors in office, we and ourselves,
our heirs, executors, and administrators, in the whole and for the whole sum, jointly
and severally and firmly, by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated this 22nd day of July- 1926
The condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound W.P. Starks
to make a true and perfect inventory of the goods, chattels, rights, credits, lands
and tenements of Mrs. Sallie Starks, late of Whitfield County, deceased shall have
or shall come into the hands, posession, or knowledge of the said W.P. Starks
or the hands or posession of any person or persons, for him, and the same, so
made, do exhibit unto the said Ordinary he shall be thereunto required; such goods,
chattels, credits, lands, and tenements do well and truly administer according to law,
and do make a just and true account of his actings and doings therein when he shall
come to be required by the Court; shall deliver and pay to such person or persons, respectively,
as they may be entitled to the same by law. And if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and
testament was made by the deceased, and the same be made before the Court of Ordinary,
and the Executor obtain a certificate of the probate thereof, and he in such case, if required,
render and deliver up the said Letters of Administration, then this obligation to be void;
else to remain in full force.
