Darkness

A Lover's Delight

Awaiting a Change

Darkness

As darkness looms
My body turns,
Life slips away
But one flame still burns,

I hope one day
Dark will turn bright,
And that my flame
Will re-ignite,

There is no answer
There is no clue,
To a life thats slipping
It cant be true,

That one dayay
I'll be no more,
What is the truth
I am not sure,

As darkness looms
I start to pray,
That I will see
Another day.

A Lovers Delight

This is a poem that i wrote dedicated to Scorpian and her love dopey.

I hope that your happy
For what you two share,
Is a beautiful thing
May it always be there,

The bond that you have
Can only be right,
Your love is so natural
A lovers delight,

I'm glad that you finally
Found someone to love,
This has to be perfect
You fit like a glove,

May your future be bright
And whatever you hear,
Believe in your love
That you treasure so dear.

Awaiting a Change

I was inspired to write this after reading Scorpians Poetry, as it had been a year since I last wrote.

She sits there and watches
As the world passes by,
Societies humanity
Decipt and its lies,

Tied down and shackled
Awaiting the truth,
Nothing ever changes
Her scared soul is the proof,

Now blinded and lost
Also losing her way,
A world cursed with hate
Is the price we will pay,

One day she'll triumph
And breath once again,
Whats wholesome and pure
Bringing her pain to an end,

Until we all shape up
And right what is wrong,
A hope of a better place
Is nothing but gone.
