The OMG (Orange Man Group)

Mission:

We wish to promote the interests and happiness of our group members in such a way that does not exclude or cause harm to other persons. Our goal is to broaden the horizons of our members; each member should be willing to speak out with his or her interests and opinions without fear of discrimination in order to perhaps spark the interests of others. In this way, we can create a network of friends who may get together and enjoy themselves no matter what the circumstances.

Educational Purpose:

(Yes, we do indeed have an educational purpose): The three of us original OMG members (Daniel, Austin, and Eric) will be more than happy to assist in the completion of an activity or assignment, as long as there is no harm to creatures or the community. We have quite a large range of interests just between the three of us; anything from computer programming to music to bike riding and skating. If you're interested in it, we'd be happy to give it a try and spread it around if we can. We hope that in time each of you will turn to each other and help each other with the problems you guys encounter. But never forget, Austin and I (Eric) are always willing to help out and talk if you've got a problem.

News:

January 9, 2007: Hello everyone! We want to get a group of people together and go to the movies, play frisbee, or go to laser zone. Or, if you come up wit ha brilliant idea, shout it out on the boards. It's up to a vote at the moment, so go cast your vote and grow in your orange-ness!

November 28, 2006: Hey guys! I have been informed by John Treadway that every Tuesday night there is a "Members Night" at Laser Zone. This means that there are really good games going on and also free pizza (score). Also, our meetings will now be held every Thursday in the KLAB (right outside the library). This INCLUDES this coming Thursday, the 30th. Hope to see you there!

November 22, 2006: Hey everyone, we're planning a night out at AMC Theatres on Friday. We're going to see the 5:40 showing of Stranger than Fiction at the AMC 24 Theaters. Bring a friend or two, it's the mantinee price so it will be a bit cheaper than going any later. For info, call up either Austin or myself.

November 18, 2006: So, Ms. Coffman agreed to sponsor the OMG. In a while, we'll come up with a meeting date so everyone can get together and say their hello's and get a proper introduction to our little group here :). Make sure to register at our OMG forum and introduce yourself to our online community, too.
