We Journey to
HEADINGHAM
CASTLE

Har. Once she finally took off her REN PONY TAIL (24 hours later),
Ruby’s REAL hair was FROZEN in this position!

It is a DANG SHAME that the Langley Hotel was RUN so poorly.

Clearly, the structure was WONDERFUL. They just lacked the OPERATIONAL Savvy
to make this a truly PREMIUM (“FABU”) HOTEL!

After only a bit longer than the “1 hour, 30 minute” drive that Mapquest estimated,
we arrived at HEDINGHAM CASTLE!

HAR! We played the “CANE CARD” again (Thank You, Ruby!),
and were able to park in the “Accessible” [“Handicapped”] lot that was
MUCH closer to the Castle than the regular, PUBLIC parking lot! LOL

Which means … we parked right near where the JOUSTERS were encamped!


As you’ll see (and read) on another of this site’s pix pages,
The Knights of Royal England are truly a CLASS ACT!
In fact, their performance is BETTER than the majority o’ US Jousting Types!!!
As we were leaving
Hedingham Castle,
we caught this KNIGHT
whacking at some
COCONUTS!

[I swear I’m NOT making this UP!!!]

Apparently, they needed
MORE than the FOUR
REAL-LIFE STEEDS
that they rode
during the JOUST event!

[If you don’t understand that
last comment, you aren’t a
MONTY PYTHON FAN.
And, there’s nothing I can do
to FIX THAT!]
