What are you getting yourself into? A seriously outlandish sci-fi slash fanfic about The Pretender, M*A*S*H, Law & Order, Lord of The Rings and others. It's pretty long, so far running about eight chapters, but it pulls you in, so it goes quite fast. I think it's coming out really good so far. I tried to illustrate it as much as possible and some of the later characters are pretty interesting. I must warn you, all the sex in this storyline is gay, and sometimes even non-consentual. If the concept of two guys gettin' it on disgusts you, angers you or makes you want to shoot yourself out of a cannon for some stupid reason, then you shouldn't even be on my page, you fucking idiot.
What the hell is it about? Bola, a naive and good-natured novice planehopper from another realm who's being chased by interplanetary cops and bounty hunters for a crime he didn't commit. (of course) He bumbles about inside the entertainment realm, bouncing from show to show, befriending people and pissing other people off and basically going on pure luck trying to get away from these guys. The last thing he expected is to find his true love in the process.
Anyway, without further adieu, I bring you "I'm Not Pretending". I worked really hard on this thing, so feel free to give me any feedback, good or bad. I welcome it. Enjoy the story, may it bring you much joy and other warm and fuzzy feelings.
Chapter 1: "Men Are From Mars, Yaonis & Other Freaky Critters Are From Axiom"- Jarod meets a gorgeous stranger in need of a companion, and unintentionally gets him involved with the wrong people. Unfortunately, this new friend of Jarod's has made a few enemies of his own. Jarod's new friend finds himself contending against his old enemies, his new enemies and his feelings for his new companion. Too bad things never seem to go as planned. (NC-17)
Chapter 2: "Who Was That M*A*S*Hed Man?"- Where did Bola end up? Who saves his ass? What happens to a pink-blooded alien when the U.S. Army gets a hold of him? Can Hawkeye and his friend, Trapper keep Bola off the dissection table and off the front page of the Inquirer? Stay tuned and find out! Chapter 3: "Secrets, Lies & Oxygen"- What happens to Jarod once Bola is gone? He goes through an odd case of withdrawl, that's what. What's this? Jarod with an actual apartment? A part time job? A new hobby reading bad science fiction novels? What the hell is going on here? New twists, turns and evil plots by The Center using Bola's stolen DNA. Pretty sick stuff. (NC-17)
Chapter 4: "Claw & Order"(Taken down for touch-ups)- Bola kinda sorta causes trouble when he finds himself lost on the mean streets of NYC, and meets his match in Detective Mike Logan. With the whole NYC police force looking for him and the bounty hunters hot on his trail, will Bola's luck hold out? (XXX- explicit rape, violence)
Chapter 5: "Second Floor: Housewares, Nutcases & Hippes From Outer Space"- Jarod has waited long enough. When he finds out just what kind of danger Bola is in, he goes on a rescue mission and decides to try his hand at this planehopper thing himself. He finds himself on Bola's home planet and tries to find his family, hoping they will help lead him to his long lost love. Unfortunately, some of these natives turn out to be a little more than restless. (NC-17)
Chapter 6: "This Ain't No Yellow Brick Road" (In The Works!)- Jarod may be gone, but his trail is still hot, and leads some of the most dangerous Center operatives to the doors of Jarod's best friends. Will Sydney finally make a stand when Mr. Lyle takes things too far? (R)
Chapter 7: "Butterflies In My Stomach...Literally"- A continuation of Chapter 5. Things go from bad to worse when Jarod's human curiousity builds tension between he and Bola's family, Zari discovers an unlikely admirer and Jarod and Ginjam meet for a final match of wits! Don't miss it, the ending might surprise you. (NC-17)
"Heuri's High Noon"- A little tidbit offshoot peice in the P.O.V. of Ritemaster Heuri after he and Ginjam are arrested. No real sex, but you get to finally meet his creepy undead mate and find out a little about how Heuri ticks. If you're into character depth, you will definately find this interesting.
