Rules:
- All entries must be prepared on premises.
- You may NOT use electricity to prepare entry.
- You may NOT use gas to prepare entry.
- Entries submitted after specified time will not be eligible. A designated judge will have official time.
- Green Eggs are permitted but subject to verbal harassment
Times: Entries to be presented to judges by these times.
- Chicken: 12:00pm
- Pork Ribs: 2:00pm
- Brisket: 4:00pm
- Other: 5:00pm
- Contestants will be allowed to choose booth anytime after 4:00 pm Friday the 25th. Please have ALL smokers, coolers, etc. out of booths by the 26th.
Information:
- Entry Fee Includes: Booth space: 27'w x 18'd. Paper plates and towels. Plastic forks, spoons and knives. Trash disposal. 20 Guest Wristbands. 8 Hardwood Invitational Huggers. Lunch at Chief Cooks meeting. (Springfield Brewing Co. Friday Oct. 17th.
- Guests: Guests will be required to wear a wristband that will entitle them to sample each of the contestants booths. The wristband will also entitle guest to drink from the complementary kegs. Children ten and under eat free. There will be bottled water for sale.
- Judging: Judges will be judging entries on appearance, tenderness and taste. An example of the score card is included in the information packet. For one of these contact Arch.
