A Story By Rachel Gosling
Me and my sister (Hi Kate!!!) share a room. I'm on the top bunk, she's on the bottom(shut up april). And one night i was reading and she was telling me about some stupid minger she met at a club last week when i saw this GIGANTIC SPIDER on the ceiling and i shouted "OH MY GOD!" and my sister went "Easy, Rach, he isn't that ugly." and i said "Shut up, you fool. I'm not on about David, i'm on about that!" I pointed to the spider and she screamed, jumped into her bed and turned off the light. A little while later I could see the spider moving across the ceiling throught the darkness. I yelped and hid under the covers, scared out of my fragile little wits. My sister said "What are you doing, no brains, i'm trying to sleep!" and i said "I think the spider's moving!" and she said "No it isn't it's just your eyes playing tricks on you." and i looked up at the spider and it was DEFINITELY moving. "AGGGHH!" I yelled, hiding under the quilt again. "It's on the move!" Kate turned the light on and stood up. "Where is it?" I asked.
Horribly terrifying silence...
"Kate?" I said from under the quilt. "Where the hell is it?"
Anither horribly terrifying silence...
"It's..." Kate said. "Oh my god, its.... I can't even tell you!" You have to remember that i was still under the blanket. I couldn't see what was going on and i was absolutely terrified (yes, of a spider...). Anyway, so Kate said "It's er..." and i said "KATE, WHERE THE HELL IS IT?!" and she said "It's right above you."
This is the part where i freaked out. "No it isn't." i said "You're a liar." And Kate said, "I'm not lying to you. Take a look." and i said "No i'm too scared." and then kate said "Rach? i think you'd better run." And so i took action. I threw the blanket off me, and dived to the end of the bed where the ladder is. Without even looking to see where the spider is, i jumped (yes, jumped) straight off the bed. I didn't use the ladder, i just threw myself straight off that bed and ran out of the room screaming. My leg still hurts from the fall.
