Hello! Welcome to my 50 favorite movies of all time page! Here you will find out what I consider to be some of the purest, greatest entertainment of all time. Maybe not all of these movies are award winners or tear jerkers, but they are what I consider to be top notch and most importantly, my all time favorites! Let's start off from bottom, to top, shall we? Here goes!

50. (October Sky)

October sky is a story about dreams. Dreams of doing what you love to do most. For one young teen, that is to launch rockets into the sky as far as his imagination will take him. This movie deals with hardships, friendships, dreams, holding onto them, love and youth. I love this movie and on my Slick Scale of 1-10, I'd have to give it an 8!

49. (Breakdown)

Breakdown stars the always good Kurt Russell and as well as the late, but definitely great J.T. Walsh. In this movie, Kurt Russell and his wife are moving clear across the United States. They run into trouble when a truck attempts to ram them off the road. This thriller is full of suspense and will keep you on the edge of your seat. On the Slick Scale I'll give it a 7!

48. (U-Turn)

Starring Sean Penn, this quirky little movie might not be for you. It just depends on what type of movies that you like. If you like confusion and nonsense plot twists like I do, then maybe you'll like this! On the Slick Scale I give this a 6 1/2!

47. (Over The Top)

Starring Sylvestor Stallone from the great Rocky and not as great Rambo movies, comes a truck driver who must come to grips with reality. He has a child whom he hasn't seen since it was a small infant, with his ex-wife in the hospital, possibly dying, it's up to him (Stallone) to pick up his son, Michael from Millitary school and take him on the road with him. This doesn't set well with Stallone's father-in-law, who does everything in his power to get the young boy returned to him. Will Stallone be victorious in keeping his son! Did I fail to mention that this is only half the plot? Watch and you'll see a great movie unfold before your very eyes. '80s trash at it's best! On the Slick Scale I give this a 7 out of 10!

46. (Equilibrium)

Equilibrium is a great sci-fi movie. I won't go into the plot, for that would give away too much. If you like the Matrix, then surely you will like this movie. I sure did! On the Slick Scale I give it an 8 out of 10!

45. (The Spanish Prisoner)

If you'd like to see Steve Martin in one of his rare movies that he's actually serious in, then you might want to check this out. This movie deals with double-crossing and plot twists like you've never imagined. I love this movie by David Mamet. Check it out! On the Slick Scale I give this a 9 out of 10!

44. (Creepshow)

From the always great and horrific mind of Stephen King comes this movie with many tales of fright. I'd have to say that the most disgusting tale is the last one with E.G. Marshall. If you haven't seen this movie yet, ugh, make sure not to have eaten or eat during this story. It makes Fear Factor eating challenges pale in comparison! Check out this movie for a fun little fright night! Stephen King himself even plays in a tale involving a meteorite. What a lunkhead! On the Slick Scale, I gave this movie a 7!

43. (Insomnia)

Starring the always fantastic Al Pacino and Robin Williams in one of his few serious roles. This movie is a whodunnit and a whydunnit. If you like murder-mysteries and love Pacino and Williams as much as I do, then check this one out for size. On the Slick Scale, I give this move an 8 3/4ths!

42. (First Knight)

Starring Richard Gere as Sir Lancelot, Sean Connery as King Arthur and Julia Ormond as the princess. This movie, while corny to some, is one of my favorite movies of all time. While it may not depict the true Arthur legend very well, you have to look past that and appreciate it for what it is and that is a great and passionate love story. Check out the evil nemesis, Malagant! On the Slick Scale, I give this movie a 9 out of 10!
