While driving away from The Wash, Rosi realized that Allendy’s mouth was stitched shut with iron, and as such she was in constant agony and gaining banality quickly. He insisted that Camera turn around so they could go help her. Daniel pointed out that Sludgy can eat through metal, so Daniel, Camera, and Rosi returned to Berkley’s Curios to see if they could help Allendy. The offer was eventually accepted, and Sludgy dissolved the iron seams even as Daniel’s crush on Allendy came to light. They left without payment, though Rosi made 100 horseshoes for the nocker shop down the road in attempts to earn enough money to buy the three-headed puppy in the window of Berkley’s. As soon as Camera and Daniel left the shop, Thaily dragged Allendy back into their living quarters and proceeded to flip out and throw dishes at the . Daniel barged to the rescue and did his best to protect Allendy from her sister. Rosi came back from smithing and joined the protectorate, dragging a reluctant-to-interfere Camera with him. Daniel and Rosi provided a distraction while Camera knocked Thaily over the head with a slate. They made a run for the RV, and Rosi did some minor looting on his way out. There was care and keeping of the phoenix, Allendy curled up on the bottom bunk and slept next to Daniel, and Rosi took over driving for the night.

Storyteller’s Note: This session came into being when Rosi’s player, Robert, realized that Allendy Burgess’s mouth was stitched shut with iron and that she was going to die a horrible, banal death and must be rescued. Daniel’s player, Will, declared that Daniel had a crush on the unfortunate sluagh . Those two can make a subplot out of anything. As far as player problems go, that’s not such a bad one to have.
