2002/03/21 From Monty - Hey Guys Hope yall are doing ok i am doing time- Wake around 5:30+ head to work make breakfast then cook for 400 convicts. I got a promotion out of the dish pit so im moving up. We get off at 4:30 then go to the gym untill 8pm. We work 7 days but get paid for 14 days. I make 2.20 perday.I buy mostly stamps and candy bars u know me + choclate ;) Be sage ill see you guys again one day. Peace.
2002/04/26 We have just learned some really great news, they have passed a 8.5 month sentence, marking the day for His freedom sometime in October 2002, and it seems there will be NO request for extradiction to the U.S.A.

"Hello stoners" First thanks so much for all of the support and good wishes, posted here on this site. Also much love to all of those people that have written to me, and kept in touch during my stay here. You have no idea how much this has meant to me. Sometime in October, I will attend a deportation hearing, where I will apply for political refugee status. This will take up to a year and a half to go to trial, due to the number of people currently awaiting the same thing. During this time since my sentence in Canada will have been served, I should be able to hold a full time job while awaiting the trial date.I would be free and legal in Canada, working in the HVAC Field. I will keep you all informed as to the outcome. Hopefully I will see you all soon online. ALL my love to my circle of friends that has remained strong and there for me...you people know who you are. From Douglas Wiser October 5, 2002. Hey folks thanks for stopping in. I just got off the phone with Monte he seemed somewhat anxious about his release on Oct 15th, which is next Tueday. He seemed confident that they cannot deport him, at least without a hearing but believes he will be taken and released in or near North Dakota. He did not reveal much of his plans past that, and he is trying to expect the worst but hope for the best as they have yet to reveal exactly what will happen to him. I can only hope he finds freedom soon. As I final note, I need to add here for all the fucking assholes that have tossed him out the window as a criminal, you bastards are cut from the same cloth as Harry J. Anslinger himself. To sit around smoking pot like you are somehow above the law while he is a "criminal" for getting busted cause he was "too cocky" is a prime example of how far most americans have their heads up their asses. 88% of the people arrested in America were marijuana related, pray that you are not one of them next year, yeah, I mean you DRA, because it will not be Dougwiser looking after your dog and your possesions while they are gang fucking you in an American prison. To all those sympathetic to Ru's condition, well you all are the single thread that my faith in real Americans hangs from. Look for my Post on Tuesday, October the 15th to be a positive one, until then may the peace and prosperity of the American dream find some little way into your lives and hearts.
13 October 2002 From Douglas Wiser - hey guys thanks for checking in, well it's not really clear at this time what will happen to Ru. He did not opt for political asylum as the time he would have spent in canadian jail would not have counted toward any sentence and Canada has never granted asylum to known felons. He is at the Sheriffs jail in North Dakota and Florida has expressed interest in extradiction, we will know more tommorrow morning after he goes to court. He plans to fight extradiction as best he can, for whatever it's worth. I'll be posting more as news becomes available.
I need to take this final space to once again thank everyone for thier support thru this ordeal. I also need to make clear about Florida's claim. Seems they detained him an extra 4 days in North Dakota giving Florida ample opportunity to reclaim him for outstanding warrants , and they have missed their chance. Those charges are still out standing, but they did not choose extradiction. This is one web project I am truly happy to see come to a close, at least for me, I am hoping tigger see fit to allow this web space for Roux to dabble a bit and I'll archive this page to be linked out from another site, for a constant reminder to us all about how easily any of our freedoms can be whisked away with no hope to reclaim.
