Mantra truck is the musical collaboration of 3 Minnesota women who have endured many obstacles but they keep on trucking.
The trio is groove driven but the sound is something they call funk, jazz, garage, power driven rock. They site Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soul Coughing, Morphine as well as several native and tribal groups from all over the world as major influences. Influences that helped in creating the freedom of the Mantra Truck sound. The vocals soar and the words have meaning.
