Organization Logo
Loading the file
From the main menu, select File, then "Create Organization Logo". A file dialog box will open and you can choose the BMP file you wish to convert. If you try to open a non-compatible file, you will get a message telling you so. If your file is in the proper format, you will be taken to the name entry page.
The file must be:
- Windows RGB encoded BMP
- 128 x 128 pixels in size
- saved in 8-bit color depth (256 colors)
- but only uses the first 64 colors (0-63)
- and color 0 is the transparency color
Name Entry
Enter the organization's short (i.e. NJPW) and long names (i.e. New Japan). If entries are acceptable, when you click "Save" a dialog box will appear for the output, enter the desired VMS filename. If everything goes right, a message will appear telling you the VMS file was created.
FPDEdit will only allow the following characters as entry/display (all the characters on a standard US keyboard):
`1234567890-=qwertyuiop[]asdfghjkl;'zxcvbnm,./\
~!@#$%^&*()_+QWERTYUIOP{}ASDFGHJKL:"ZXCVBNM<>?|
Do not paste in incompatible characters, especially the upside-down question mark (¿) because it's used by FPDEdit in the name conversion process!
