What is friendship?
Help me find the answer please
I keep hearing rumor of
Laughter, hugs, smiles, joy and love
Searching for this thing called friendship
When the time comes that I hope I might have found one
I open my eyes and see
All that is before me
Sorrow, guilt, tears, pain, misery and blood
I am on my knees now pleading for your friendship
Then I realize these pleas fall upon deaf ears once more
So I silence my cries until one day
Till that time all I have is hope.
