Ancestors of the House Balance
Amir, ancestor of balance
Amir is the main ancestor of house balance, and on of the most influential Elves to have graced our society. Amir was responsible among other things for the ritual which separated the Glen from the rest of the heartlands . A powerful ritualist he has set many of the teachings of performing rituals, and also made sure that the other house where involved with the planning of rituals, if not being able to perform rituals themselves. He help organise much of the frame work of the glens current society, and made sure that each house knew it's role within the overall balance of our society. Amir himself was a man of many talents and also possessed a multifaceted personality, there was none he could speck to on their own level. He tirelessly tried to kelp himself and those around him in balance,, never good never evil, never lawful, never chaos. Only the balance was his concern, and he could not except anything that was not balanced.
Yenlui, ancestor of luck in rituals
It is said that a little luck can go along way, especially when one is performing a ritual. Amir was once quoted saying the luck is sometimes all a ritualist needs, though some forward planning can go a long way. But when a member of house balance needs to perform a ritual, a few give prayers to Yenlui. A rather chaotic and scattered brained member of house Balance, normally got his times mixed up and which ritual he would be performing on what day. But somehow he was able to conjure up something fro m deep within his brain. More often enough the ritual was performed successful, with most of the contributors escaping any harm, and even on some luck occasions, actual getting what he ritualed for. Luck was always truly with him, though it also said you luck eventually runs out, and this fortunately (for some) happened the Yenlui.
Ancestors of the House Light
Muril, Ancestor of Life and freedom
Muril as the ancestor of house light was the most powerful healer there has ever been in the history of the Glen, not even Menlui could rival his power as a healer. In his life time he was a paragon for freedom, and his arts stretched into the political sphere. Although he was the head of house light for some years, he treated his house with the up most kindness rarely letting his house feel his presence. Important decisions where made together as a house. His love of freedom came from the light that glowed within him, all who met him were filled with a glowing light, and could not bring themselves to speck of any offence or bring any harm against him. Only those who lead the other house of our people could stand against his gentle will. This made him a tricky political opponent, since few wanted to argue with him openly, and made sure that the glen would never have to live in tyranny in it's life time.
Lecai, Ancestor of Beauty
Lecai like most members of house light was a healer and an expert in the field of medicine. She is also a former high healer of house light, was well as a lecturer at the universities of house time. Like all members of house light her kindness and gentle touch could not be measured. But she was most remembered for her infinite beauty, it is said that no elf maiden since has ever matched her beauty that she possessed. She lived a full life and yet showed no sign of age, less be it her eyes, even at the age of six hundred, not a single blemish could be found on her skin, not a single sign of weariness could be found on her skin. Her death pained all in the glen, and she was worshipped as an ancestor, since believed that anyone would ever match her beauty.

Ancestors of the House Time
Jaffera, Ancestor of Knowledge and Truth
Jaffera the just. Jaffera the all knowing. Jaffera the prophetess. She is known by many names, and all are her domain. The main ancestor of house time is one who is housed in darkness, for yes Jaffera was all knowing, and knew more secrets then anybody could guess. Truths that are better left only in their dark corners are her study, there was nothing that she did not know or see. Perhaps the most terrifying aspect was that of that prophetess, for she did not just know what had already happened, but what was going to happen. Her many prophecies are the most heavily guarded secrets of house time, and known outside of house time know what she is believed to have prophesised. But despite her dark aspect she has many connections to justice, and is believed to have laid down laws that still remain to this day.
Ancestors of House void
Wazera, Ancestor of Wisdom and Change
Wazera is the prime ancestor of House Void, the house of mages, although she has a large following and many priests, very few incant in her name, and even those who do find that there power is sometimes is withdrawn. Wazera when she was alive was a mighty mage, one of the most powerful to ever grace the glen and none have matched her legendary power. Wazera was extremely unpredictable due to a twin personality that she possessed, sometimes she could calm, cool and wise, it was said that in her infant wisdom she could solve any puzzle or riddle in a second. But there were times when she was completely random and bizarre, doing things on a whim, suffering from horrendous mood swings, it was said due to an early love affair that went wrong that she became a manic-depressive. On her day she was one of the most dangerous beings alive. On of her achievements was the setting up of house void, which still keeps the same structure that she set up some many years ago. The current magical university is a testament to her power. Wazera embodied all aspects of the void, it's infinite understanding of all things and it's infinite unpredictability, and due to a quirk in their patterns all members like Wazera have a twin personality.
Waneil, ancestor of the defence of the Elven Race
Waneil, the defender. Waneil, the wanderer. Waneil, the saviour. He is known by many names but one story binds them altogether, in the glens darkest hours he came to us, a ray of light in an infinite darkness. His is a story of legends, and few know it when it was first told. As a young child he was marked out as different from the rest of his peers. For some reason fate had decided that he would be different from the rest of house void, unique in house known for it's enigmatic outlook on life. In a house of mages he possessed no magical power, even the most simple of cantrips were beyond him. But that did not deter him, magical theory he learned in place of magic, and the art of the sword was his mastery. At a young age he left to wander the outside world, and little is known of this period of his life. During his self imposed exile, the race wars began and the glen was beset from all sides. During a darkest hours he returned to us, and lea are armies to victory and saved the glen from destruction. He set up three knightly orders to protect the glen, they have stood in place since the end of the race wars. He also set up in house void a company known as the guardians, increasing numbers of those with no magic were begging o appear, they were trained by him to protect his house. When he died he went into legend, when are race is most pressed, we call upon Waneil to aid us.

It is said that only Wazera had the wisdom to unlock his words, and even then she had to think about it. But even despite his trickster ways, he was dedicated to his job in serving the Glen, and he has been quoted in only broker deals in the best interest of the Glen. Though what he thought was the best interest of the Glen was and what the actual best interest actually was is unknown. But such was his powers of trickery, you just never know who got the best deal, and made an ideal choice for the ancestor of trickery
The First Knights
The Beginning of the Orders
During the time of the Race wars, then glen was in a state of disarray, unable to defend it's self. Although isolated upon a island, the glen had never given much thought to it's defence. When war came to the Glen, its people were unprepared for war, an arm was mustered, but this was ill-lead and disorganised. At this time Waneil returned from his wide wanderings of the world, to find his beloved homeland in tatters. But this did not deter him, he orgies its people once more, and sought out three pupils worthy of his teachings. Senthoi, Cynath and Thalui would be these heroes, three great men to lead the Glen and protect the Glen forever. The three knight order were set up, and the Glen defended. Eventually the Race war died down and the Glen was safe. Eventually Waneil left with the three heroes with him into the wide world of Edjrea. No-one knows what happened to the four that left, but form that day onwards they were seen as living ancestors. Every Grand Master of the Knightly order become avatars of the First Knights.
Sir Thalui, First Knight of the Order of the Starless Night
The first knight of the Starless Night, was the first of Waneil's pupils, as he was then man who first greeted him upon his return to the Glen. Originally a commander of the forces that guarded the rituals circles that lead into the glen, who ahs spent many years protecting the glen from invaders. He had also sent many young elves to their death during the elder races war. Thalui was given the task to lead the knightly orders for House Balance, for they would for m the first defence for the Glen. He also organised scouting parties into theatres outside of the glen, suing his knowledge of ritual magic to lead ambushes that severely crippled enemy forces, allowing the glen to prepare for the next onslaught.
Sir Senthoi, First Knight of the Order of the Rising Sun
From the house of the healers came the second of Waneil's pupils, Senthoi, first knight of the Rising Sun. Waneil needed a man whose courage and love for the glen rivalled his own, and in Senthoi he found that man. The Order of the Rising Sun gave the people courage, a magnificent knightly order upon the battle filed, a shinning example to all. The will to fight and never give up is what Senthoi put into his men. While the order of the starless night may have fought on the front line, and the order of the Wax-less Moon defended the Glen from the shadows. It was the Order of the Rising Sun that became the Hero's of the Glen, a shinning light to pierce the Darkness.
Sir Cynath, First Knight of the Order of the Wax-less Moon
Cynath, the first knight of the Wax-less Moon, was the third pupil of Waneil; when he returned to the Glen. Cynath was charge with protecting the glen at all cost to enemies from both within and without. He set up the order within house shadow, and from there the order was able to act as the very last line of defence. Cynath's powers were not just wasted in organising the order of the Wax-less moon, his supreme knowledge of tactics , made him the most competent Commander after Waneil himself. As long as the order of the Wax-less Moon holds firm, no enemy shall defeat the Glen.
