Caras Estarwe

The city of Caras Estarwe

It is not for me to relate the history of Caras Estarwe to you. That task is in the hands of those who hail from that fair place. The city is truly a marvel and the fabled tower of Brilliance the most astonishing sight I have ever witnessed. Beyond these few words I am sworn to say no more. I am aware of the many questions that have gone unanswered concerning this place. I can only counsel patience, in time I believe those questions will be answered.

Baron Robert Morston
Provost-General of the Kingdoms of Lyonesse and Estragales, May 1100AF

The Way Wardens of Caras Estarwe

The Way Wardens are a branch of the cities defences whose primary aim is to patrol and secure the lands surrounding the city. Their role in wartime is reconaisance and they act as the vanguard of any force on the move. The Wardens typically work in troupes of six with a senior Warden or Glade-Captain as leader. One Glade-Captain may command many Troupes.

The Wardens differ from the city guard in that they are composed of all three branches of elven society. The troupes are small, self sufficient parties with mixed abilities and they can respond to most threats as necessary. Their Primary objective at the moment is the Guardianship of Caras Estarwe. They are currently under instructions not to let anyone enter Caras Estarwe.

Narqelion Voraquesse

One of the Waywardens from Caras Estarwe who have offered their assistance to the Alliance. Somewhat reserved when dealing with the younger races. He is an elf with golden skin usually dressed in the green and gold colours of the Waywardens. Over these he often wears a light brown robe and a close fitting black hood. He tends to be lightly armoured as is common amongst the Istarcu.
Murdered at the Gathering 1100AF.
