Matt Laurer had called at four. He wanted to know if Krystal was available to come in for an interview that morning. At four, I had wanted to kill him. He had woken me up from my wonderful slumber there in Krystal's arms. Apparently everyone that morning was talking about the kiss. Or I should say, kisses. Everyone had been talking about it last night too. Krystal had agreed and had nudged me, not like I needed it.

"What?" I groaned.

"We've got an interview at seven-thirty," she said.

"Good, I'm going back to bed," I told her. I obviously hadn't heard the word "we" in there.

"Only for another hour," she whispered in my ear, setting the clock next to her ear for five. "Then we have to get up and head over to NBC by seven."

"Sure, fine," I remarked rolling over and snuggling into her chest. When the alarm went off an hour later, I was still nowhere ready to get out of those wonderful arms I was cradled in. Krystal nudged me and eventually just pushed me off the bed to get me up. "What?" I groaned, glaring at her from my new spot on the floor.

"Get up!" she exclaimed. "We have the Today Show to do."

"What do you mean we?" I yawned.

She laid down on her stomach and propped her head up with both hands looking at me lying there on the floor. "You remember the phone ringing this morning?" I nodded, yawning again. "Well, that was Matt Laurer, of the Today Show. He wants to interview us this morning at seven-thirty."

"Why us? Why not *NSUCK? I mean, they won what, eighteen thousand awards last night?"

"Um, well, it could have something to do with me kissing you on television!"

"You did that?" I asked, really not remembering the previous night.

She giggled at me. "Yes! Now go get in the shower!"

Slowly I got up and started walking around the bed. "Are you going to join me?" I asked as I reached the door to the bathroom.

"Maybe," she seductively replied, rolling over to look at me. I grinned and skipped into the bathroom. That Krystal Harris was intoxicating. I couldn't believe how wonderful I felt, even though she had embarrassed me over and over again the night before.

I started the water and climbed inside the warm streams. I allowed the water to caress my skin and soak my hair. As I was standing there I felt hands on my waist. A damp body pressed up against my back and hot breath stroked my ear. "We can't be in here long," she whispered. "We need to get going soon."

I turned around in her arms and replied, "I know," just as she slipped a finger inside me. I really wasn't expecting it and somehow managed to keep from pushing her away. I tilted my head back as she massaged my interiors like a pro. She knew she didn't have much time, so she didn't pursue her ultimate goal, but it was enough to peak my interest. I knew I was going to have to get her back for that one.

We finished up rather quickly together, not really taking the time to enjoy the new sensations, but there would be other times. Getting dressed and then practically racing down the hall, I was sure we were waking up the whole floor with our not-so-quiet antics. We couldn't help it really. We were both still way too excited over the previous night. Waking up Krystal's manager Mook, we told him it didn't matter if he drove us in his pajamas, but we had to be at NBC. He groaned, asking why we hadn't told him and Krystal finally convinced him that the call had just come in. Mook dressed quickly, knowing how important these live on air interviews were. Before I knew it, the whirlwind of the three of us was on NBC's doorstep being ushered over to the correct sound stage. The security people had been notified that we were coming and Matt Laurer was waiting for us.

Mook took a cup of coffee and a pastry and sat down with us, while I fixed myself a steaming cup of coffee with sugar and cream. Krystal was fine with no caffeine in her system. Oh how I despised that. I sat down across the table from Matt with Krystal to my left. Mook was to the left of Krystal. There was an oak table between us and I just folded my hands on the polished wood glancing at my beloved. I half listened to the conversation, answering when I was prompted, but other than that I just sipped my coffee, growing colder by the minute, trying to wake myself up. The pre-interview lasted maybe twenty minutes, maybe double the time we would actually be on the air with Matt.

After we were finished, Krystal and I headed into makeup and when we were done there it was right onto the set during the station break. I sat there with my legs crossed towards Krystal, again on my left, my fingers tapping on my knee. I had to admit, if anything to myself, that I was terrified. I couldn't believe that I was sitting there on the set of the Today Show, about to inform the world that I was involved with a woman, let alone a female rock star. Krystal reached over and grabbed my hand in hers. Her nails were short, black, barely beyond the skin, mainly because she couldn't play her piano with long fingernails. They were almost a complete contrast to my own. My nails were long and painted red. Most of the people around us teased saying that we were complete opposites; AJ would usually start singing "Opposites Attract" around us. Stroking my hand, she whispered in my ear, "I know you're nervous. Just relax and everything will be okay. Just answer like you did a few minutes ago and this will go off without a hitch." She glanced over at the silver moon-man sitting on the table between us and the empty chair before us. It wasn't her moon-man, but it was a replica of the one she had received the night before.
