May 11, 2003 Peasant Dreams I have a dog named Grace, and she's a real terror. I'm 26 and already a housewife, what else do ya want to know? Huh, what's that? Regrets? Sure, have plenty of those, but I try not to dwell on them so much. I called my mother and she called her mother-in-law who called her grand-daughter. I'm beginning to realize that I've lost all of my dreams and aspirations of my early twenties...I'm resigned to living the peasant's way of life. whatever the hell that means. I think that means believing in god and praising the American flag and all that other bull shit that people do. God, and I don't even believe in God, nor do I give a damn about a piece of striped cloth. What kind of peasant am I?
