Elvis, Pepsi, and Salted Nut Rolls, my priorities, in that order, during my high school years. I like to imagine John Grant dealing with some of the high school students now.
It was amazing how he could silence a classroom just by standing in the door! I would dearly love to see Mr. Boe and Mr. Thisius, my favorite teachers.

Then, there's Monte Briddle who stopped at the A & W Drive Inn after arriving in Julesburg as the new football coach.

Mary Holden and I were puffing away our cigarettes (we, of course, had no idea who he was) and he immediately instructed the football team that those girls would be a bad influence, they smoke!! He probably would be pleased to know I quit.

We have 3 grown kids. Kory, Laurie, and Kari (handsome son, beautiful girls, look like Mom, Ha!) We just barely survived Kari's wedding in May. I strongly suggest you encourage your kids to elope!
Grandma to 3 terrific grandsons, Chance, Jordan and Tyler. One super granddaughter, Candace. They are truly the "Light of my life!" We spoil them and then tell them to go home.

Have worked in the health care field, mostly in medical records, since graduating except for a 3 year period when I worked in the County Clerk's Office.

I worked at the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, Az. for a cardiovascular surgeon and was privileged to observe a heart/lung transplant. I am now working at the Counseling Center in Sidney, Nebraska, which offers substance abuse and mental health counseling.

When time permits, I enjoy golfing but could use lessons.

I truly regret not being able to attend the 40th reunion. All my best to everyone!

UPDATE

I am now working in a doctor’s office in Chappell doing reception, billing and overall office tasks.
Larry is working as a car salesman for Kripal Auto Sales.

We have two additional grandchildren since the last bio was submitted - Logan (3) and Connor 5 months

My family all lives close by in Chappell and I really enjoy working but most of all, being “grandma”.
I had gall bladder surgery on May 22nd of this year but am “doing fine” now.

We are definitely planning to attend the reunion this summer! Hope to see you all then!
