Hess Cemetery

This cemetery is located in Buchanan County, VA on Rt. 600 (Hurricane Creek)in a holler behind the home of Keithel Breeding. From Mr. Breeding's home it is about a mile back to the top of the mountain. This place is known to local folk as the "Marion Hale" home place. This cemetery was visited June 12, 2002. The double tombstone seen in this picture is that of George and Abygail Hess. The one seen to the right of George and Abygail is their eldest son Elmer. Leander "Lee" Noonkester's is the one I am kneeling in front of. All information enclosed in brackets is added by your transcriber Glenda Osborne.
