"Little Windows" Poetry by Lee It was November 17th, 2002, On this cold and early morn, I was Sitting in the church, That Day, So very nice & warm. I looked into the Heavens, Of the ceilings little windows, Tears dripping from my eyes, Avoiding unsuspecting widows. I thought about the Heavens, And my Dear Sweet Lord above, Please send an earthly angel, Someone for me to love. I know my earthly stay, Was not made to be forever, But the softness of a woman's touch, Is really so much better. I always plan to do your will, And to say my prayers at night, To protect your Earthly Angel, And to Love her all my life. But Lord I have a stumbling block, To value her by looks, I am looking for a friend like me, As you record it in your books. And if you grant this little favor, I will thank You when You're done, To walk these earthly sands together, Until in Heaven, we must come.
