Money Dont Grow On Trees Poetry by Lee There was a time, so long ago, When Jody was a little boy. He always got in trouble so, While playing with his toys. He was pushing his little dump truck, Maybe a little too hard, The front wheel came, right off his truck, While playing in his yard. His daddy was a mechanic, And could fix anything we hope, But he scolded little Jody, For the truck that Jody broke. Son you gotta be more careful, Money dont grow on trees, I will do my best to fix it, But be more careful please. Jody went to see his dad, While working in his shop, Now Daddys Van gave trouble too, It did not want to stop, But Daddy had the tire off And that Was a dirty deal, My Daddy is so very bad, Cause now He broke his wheel.
