from Pogoda Vista Background by TagsByBonnie@aol.com photo by Bob Atkins Poetry by Lee Chipmunk Crossing There was a fellow in the Trailer Park, Who Grew flowers tall & fine. But a little critter, came a long, Who ate his flowers, Right down the line. He laid a cave of wire, to protect his favorite flowers, And word was out, across the Park, Of his precious works, the culpret had Devoured. He laid three little ribbons, across the cave, And It looked just like a bridge. He posted a sign, chipmunk crossing, Which he left at the bottom of the ridge. The park dectives, searched to find a clue, And found, rabbit prints, along the path. But there was no evidence of the chipmunk, Which was determined to be a fact. So if you see a little chipmunk, Carrying a heavy load, He left no trace behind him, Before traveling down the road.
