As the night approaches...
... The excitement really starts to build as the barges start to move in! For it is from these many of the fireworks are launched, as well as the entire length of the bridge!
As darkness fell, here comes the first of the two barges. They are very long and are indeed too long to photograph! I'm showing only the very beginning of the boat here.
This one went under the bridge, and stopped just upstream from it, and remained there in that position.
Here comes the second barge...
... and this one stops directly in FRONT of me, out in the river just below the bridge. Anyways I share this because these two barges are very important for what happens shortly!
