Notes for Mary Jane Pittman
This is the Grandmother of T.D. Bell. We have been in current letter contact
with Mr. Bell as of this date (26 JUNE 1992). He said Mary Jane Pittman used to
say she was of Dutch heritage. He thought she descended from the famous Truax
or TRUEX Family who were among the early settlers of New Amsterdam (New York),
but we have no documenation or anything except to think this family and the
Truex families were close and intermarried along the lines.
