Norton Hotel, Norton, Virginia -- ?? ?? 1927

  • For traveling Brunswick talent scouts, he performs a few bars of both "Country Blues" and "Down South Blues".

String Band Contest, Hazard, KY Courthouse -- 3 November 1928

  • His band was dubbed "the Dock Boggs Virginia String Band."
