It
is needless to mention that the world has progressed immensely in every
field of life-socially, politically, culturally, economically, scientifically
etc., but at the same time moving away from our
Family values and roots. Hence,
my humble effort is towards the tracing of our (Khame Pun) roots, going
back to its history,
origin, ancestral lineage and traditional norms. Through this amateurish
but sincere effort my objective is to draw the attention of all those
who are keen to know about this family's lineage, especially to those
who belong to this family and wish to know how we evolved, Afterall we
don't want our roots to go into the shadow of oblivion. So, please, those
who can come up with some information however little, help me and in the
discovery of out roots. This will establish our identity and awareness.
This will also strengthen the bond of brotherhood and unity amongst the
Khame Pun family. My objective is also to invite suggestions and informations
to further enhance awareness of our heritage.Dear
users, whatever information I have been able to gather is those who happen
to know some facts about the family,i.e. verbal information passed down
to me and my help is also a book called'Bansawali' published in2053 B.S.
My idea of putting this information into the website was meted with great
appreciation and pride by the older members of this family. This has been
a tremendous boost for me to explore further and make the younger generation
proud of their origin. I cannot pursue this task all alone, so I need
your kind help and some more information, which I can add or rectify to
